    Reminds me of a metallic brown 1982 D100 short bed I had back around 1990 or so that looked that nice, I put cop car wheels on it that I painted aluminum silver and used the cop car center caps, man that truck was sharp!

    Sweet Lil truck. I hate roll pans cause I believe that trucks should have bumpers, but that's me. I love the wheels. I chose the same wheels for my 86 w150. 15 inch the way she rolled off the esembly line. Dodge trucks all the way brother.

I'm gonna do a wheel and tire package on a 85 that's getting ready to see the road for the first time in years and want to run the same wheel and tire sizes and was hoping maybe you remember the backspace and offset specs that I guy needs to run especially to try to get the 295's up under the truck instead of sticking out? I appreciate ya if you do happen to get to this.

    • @JustMoparJoe
      @JustMoparJoe  3 года назад

      Hey Morgan! I don’t remember exactly what they were. The rear had 15x10’s that I believe had a 4.5” backspace. I ordered from summit. They’re good about taking returns if you don’t mess up the box and don’t mount a tire up on the wheel.

    • @morganmiller3095
      @morganmiller3095 3 года назад

      @@JustMoparJoe Thanks for the reply man! 4.5 does seem like the common choice on the rear but the front seems to vary for people I suppose that's due to wheel width. I'm ordering them as a wheel/tire combo through discount tire which saves some money but maybe they'll let me fit the wheels before they mount the tires. You know how that goes just cross my fingers I get it right on the first stab lol

    when you lower the rear end it is the opposite of doing a chevy but the important part is to reset the rear axle with shims or else you will destroy the planetary gears in the transmission and will give you a bad vibration nice job otherwise

    I hate to be that guy, but....
    The Ram emblems on the front fenders aren't in the same place.on the passenger side, "Ram" is closer to the front of the truck. On the driver's side, the charging ram emblem is closer to the front. Great looking truck, though!

      Thank you! I placed these off the other truck I had outside. They must have been wrong on it lol

    I'm trying to come up with the money to buy a 1977 or 1988 Truck just like this..... I found it sitting in a field.... can't tell ya anything else, it's a secret..... It's a barn find..... the guy says it starts if you do the carb but says he thinks it needs a fuel pump, but he doesn't have concise answers about it, I think he just wants it off his property... Ima buy that beeatch

      Jump on it! Pre 80’s trucks are getting hard to find!

      I appreciate that! Maybe my best comment yet! I hope to take the 72’ d100 I bought, even further than this one’
