I just used a bit of painters tape to hold a piece of paper on my pastelmat (anthracite color) and now I have a darker mark on the pastelmat, any tips to get that off? I tried the eraser

Kneed eraser is often suggesting or Zero eraser is easier than Mono for is rectangular shape on pastelmat! 😊

What do you use to sharpen your pastel pencils? I have faber-castell pastel pencils and am sharpening them with a stanley knife

A crank sharpener may be useful too or heel ponce stone or palette of paper with grit, but hers tricks overhere are very useful!

I find it very difficult to blend with pastel pencils....using colour shaper....Yes...stump helps but it gets dirty very fast. Can you suggest how could I blend easily

Hi, I do not use pastel pencils, I use mainly coloured pencils & allow the pencils to blend themselves with each layer.
