Hey Will! Im about to swap to qr2 tonight. What size hex head is the bolt on the collar? I also assume I just remove the QR1 off of my podium hub and then bolt up the qr2 to that? I ask about the hex head as I’ll need to get a torque wrench later as well to be sure. Thanks mate

After installing the QR2 pretty much following this video my calibration angles were -117 degrees off and I had to tweak the shaft and qr2 multiple times to reach 0 degrees, however, the alignment of the notches (halves) is not centered either on ox or oy axe (90 degrees or 180 degrees). It looks quite strange and I haven't tested it in a game yet.

Something similar happens to me. I start on the track in IRACING and after a while my steering wheel is somewhat out of calibration. I have to go with the steering wheel crooked to go straight.

You tighten then collar incorrectly. IF you actually read the instructions that come with the qr2. you have to have the collar centered with the split in the shaft and tighten evenly. You will know it is evenly tightened if the space of each split in the collar is centered with the splits of the shaft and evenly spaced. take a measuring in mm and get it as close to even as possible. Did this my first try and never had a issue.

They're commonly used on bicycles, you should be able to pick one up at your local bike shop or amazon and eBay etc. If you have use for a wider range of torque settings then a tool shop will sell the more traditional ratchet or deflector beam type (these styles can be super expensive from bike shops).
