I'm 72 yrs old. In the 1970s I toured for 10 yrs traveling on the road playing full time with a great Rock Band. Had the time of my life but priorities changed, got married, had kids. LoL. But I still play once a week with some other old retired pro players just for fun. I've really not listened to much music except the classic rock stuff I grew up on. But a few months ago I discovered this amazing band. I'm hooked. I did some research on these gals and I vision a documentary movie about them one day in the future. Count this 72 yr old man in as one of their biggest fans.
Exactly, I'll be 70 in January going to see them in a few weeks, bringing my 19 year old grandson, gotta educate the youngsters, this old biker not done yet, still riding and still rocking, gonna end some day but not yet, stay safe.
Welcome to The Warning. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With three studio albums, several live concerts, and a new album on the way, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. This three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing and all are classically trained on piano. Yes, live is their magic sauce. Sounds as though you are like many of us old rockers who have been waiting for something new. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are less than mine, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s RUclips page you might choose from: - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - CHOKE, ANIMOSITY, 23, or any other song from their 2022 show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk. There are really no bad choices. They are something special live. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and seen them 7 times. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled like this for was Rush.
I would recommend the full 2017 TEDx talk presentation as to get a perfect idea of who they are as people and artists. Great suggestions and info nonetheless
Might I also add they are from Monterrey Mexico. Speak fluent spanish and english. All trained at a young age in piano. If you wanna hear them singing in spanish check out Martirio from this same show. I can't understand a damn word they are saying but it's a masterpiece.
Daniela "Dany" 24 guitar lead singer, Piano Paulina "Pau" 24 Drums, lead singer (about 10 songs), Backing vocals, Piano Alejandra "Ale" 19 Bass, backing vocals, Piano Welcome to the rabbit hole of the warning 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico Trained from a young age in classical piano they founded the group in 2013 due to the game musical 'the rock-band' They will be noticed in 2014 following the release on RUclips of the song Enter sandman of Metallica (originally intended for their grandparents to see their progress !! ) They have released 3 albums ( 2 independent XXI st century blood in 2017 and Queen of the Murder Scene, concept album in 2018) They signed with Lava/Republic records mid-2020, following a negotiation of 7 months. You've been Warned !!!!
In this performance they're 22 (Dany-Guitarist), 20 (Pau-Drummer) and 17 (Alejandra-Bass) but they were 16, 14 and 11 when they wrote and recorded this song 🤯
Great place to start, but wait til you hear the singer sing! The drummer Pau (POW!) is also the band's primary songwriter, beginning most of their songs on piano before turning them into these bangers with her sisters. This is the opening track to their 2018 concept (!!) album Queen Of The Murder Scene, released when they were 18, 16, and 13. Gentlemen, you just found your new favourite band. This whole show is fire, but they have several up on their channel - with three albums out and a fourth on the way, and having just celebrated 10 years together as a band. It doesn't matter where you jump into the rabbithole, it'll always be gold.
Best rabbit hole I ever went down in my life and I’m 62 years old. Get ready for the warning army. They will tell you what to listen to next. Check out their new song… S!CK
Are you my twin ? I'll be 63 in August, Best rabbit hole since Rush But I found the rabbit hole long ago, looking for Rush drum covers, Paulina showed up playing Tom Sawyer, alone, way before Sandman, video has been deleted cause I can't find it. That's my question to her If I ever meet her, "Where's that Rush Video ?"
@@phoenixtypewriter2136 I did my Rush rabbit hole in 1978. Geddy and Alex are very proud of these girls and I’m sure Neil would be also if he was still with us
I might as well jump in here too. I'll be 66 next month and this band is exactly what I like and have been missing for a long time. Every age is their demographics!
62 here and a musician. They will fishhook you and drag you in. Good people on top of that... what we all hope our daughters become. These guys have NO idea what kinda good they just opened up! Best 3 piece band since Triumph.
That Singing Drummer, Paulina, was just awarded the “Best Rock Drummer of 2023” award by the Drumeo RUclips Channel (based on fan voting) Drumeo is a Canadian based channel with 3.5 million subscribers and the “go to” place for all things drum-related.
And in the same year was awarded best up and coming drummer of 2023 by Drummers world i believe is name of the magazine. Not sure of the exact name of the magazine.
They would make a great show to replace the vacuous Kardashians. Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. The band started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarist 24, Pau, drummer 22, and Ale, bassist 19. They have opened for the Killers, Stryper, Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Guns ‘n Roses (twice), and Muse (nine times). They have toured with Three days Grace, Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless. In 2022 and 2023 they played over 175 concerts in 14 countries including at the MTV VMA. They met Band Maid at a festival both were playing. They are currently playing Shiprocked; in the rest of 2024 they will play Tecate P’al Norte Festival in Monterrey, Vive Latino festival in Mexico City, tour Europe, Mad Cool festival in Madrid, Main Square Festival in France, and the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. They are classically trained pianists; Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They were on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. Later, all graduated high school through home schooling. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band; the Enter Sandman cover launched their career. They now have 49 original songs with one being an unreleased performed song. They debuted two new unreleased songs at their Guadalajara concert; one of which was just released. No bad songs. Their newest released single, Sick, came out February 2nd. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Discography: - Escape the Mind (EP) 2015 - XXI Century Blood (album) 2017 - Queen of the Murder Scene (album) 2018 - Narcisista (single) 2019 - Error (album) 2022 - More (single) 2023 - Sick (single) 2024 Their most legendary concerts with professionaly shot video are: - Liceo de Monterrey 2015 - TEDx at University of Nevada Reno 2016 & 2017 - Dakota Bar 2018 - Lunario 2018 - Foro Didi 2019 - Whisky a Go Go 2019 & 2020 - Quarantine Concert 2020 - Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (4K and HD audio) 2022 - UK private show (acoustic and electric, now public) 2023 When not performing they are humble, wholesome (never curse), down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist. When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!
And by the way, their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album. I also suggest watching the Tidal Rising Documentary and the Mayday in the Making 6 part (5 minutes each) documentary, as well as the Alison Hagendorf interview.
You have no idea what you just discovered. You should react to Evolve live from MTV video music awards 2023 next. Then literally any freaking song from their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert. These sisters have just badass song after badass song in their catalog. TWA will guide you in your journey so no worries, but beware that this group is highly addictive. You Have Been Warned ⚠️
Welcome to The Warning! Their music videos are great, but they really shine in live performances. The 2022 Teatro Metropolitan show is phenomenal start to finish, you can't go wrong reacting to anything from it. I'd say Z, Animosity, Disciple, or Choke would make a great next reaction. In addition, check out Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs, it's an absolute face melter.
@@scottinokcThe show was KATTFEST. And apparently the opening band and The Warning were the only bands that played. The show was cancelled for lightning. But at least those in attendance saw the Warning! There are videos on RUclips from that show
@@jeffreyjameson5510 I'll have to check those out. I'm heading to the UK in April for the Birmingham & Leeds shows. I'm hoping they'll come through OKC or at least be close on their next US tour.
Oh, fellas…. Welcome to the fun! Your jaws are on the ground for good reason. You’ve now been Warned- buckle up! Disciple, Animosity, Queen of the Murder Scene, Enter Sandman from this concert. Just leave your jaws on the ground and pick them up later.
Pau is also the Drumeo rock Drummer of the Year 2023. Every last song from the Teatro show is fire. I would suggest the songs Disciple , Choke or Evolve .
If you want a show about The Warning, I recommend going through their entire RUclips channel. There are videos that date back over 10 years when these ladies where children playing their instruments at home, at their school, and in concerts, with some music videos through in for good measure. ruclips.net/user/thewarning
Welcome to your lucky day. You've found a band that's worth something. These 3 sisters all sing, play piano , write lyrics, and flat-out kick-a*s on stage..They are very special humans..Now .."YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED" Oh that drummer is Rock Drummer of The Year voted by fans at the DRUMEO AWARDS 2023..🤘🎶☮️
The Warning Army (TWA) will soon be here giving you all the information about the band. For now, I will just say that at TWA we are like the United Nations, people from all over the world.
Hola from Mexico City. You’re late to the party and now have a rabbit hole of almost 50 original songs and ten years of material to go through. We, The Warning Army, will guide and accompany in your journey. It will be a joyride ⚡️🥁🎸🇲🇽🫶🏻
They are from Monterrey, Mexico. From a young age they learned English and how to play instruments. They compose the lyrics to their songs and the concert at the Teatro Metropolitan is simply epic...
They were 17, 20 and 22 in this concert, the Bass player came up witht his riff at 13 and they completed the song for thier second album ( a concept album) in 218 when they were 13, 16 and 18 years old. They have 50 origiinal songs on 3 albums and I have yet to hear a song of thiers that I do not like. They have started releasing songs that will be on thier 4th album. !0 years playing live as a bond and they are just 19, 22 and 24 today. The drummer sings lead about 20 percent of the time with the guitarist taking the other leads.
Love seeing people hear The Warning for the first time. No one says they are bad or just ok. No one can believe how good they really are. All of their lyrics are incredibly mature. Yes, that is 3 Mexicans singing in English and 8000 Mexicans singing with them in English. Thats how good they are.
@darksider yeah, we can tell they were cheking out the girls, those bumps they gave each other every time Dani or Ale showed up from a side angle. we get it.
@@kevinmcfarlane2752 Rush fan here also, have their albums and DVD's And the Warning records since i mostly collect records but i think i will have to buy the CD's of the Warning also.
Welcome to your newest addiction and obsession, I guarantee this is a rabbit hole you will never want to leave. The comment has been made referring to The Warning on another reaction channel stating…”if rock music ever becomes main stream again, look out they will be the biggest band in the world.” I strongly believe The Warning absolutely will be the catalyst to do just that. They have the ability to appeal to fans of pretty much all genres. I personally know several people who have never liked rock music, who now love The Warning. I have been following The Warning since mid 2015 and have loved the fact that out of 50plus original songs, no two songs sound alike, yet they have created a unique sound that is unmistakably their own. Mark my words, they will one day dominate the world and not just be recognized as one of, but be recognized as the greatest power trio (rock band) of all time! It is their reward for all of their hard work and dedication to their music and their fans, and frankly I believe their destiny. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
For those of us over 50 who thought we would never hear rock like we loved in the 80s, The Warning has shocked us all. I can’t stop listening to this concert.
Ok... welcome to the the world of The Warning.... The Warning Army are marching your way now with everything you ever want to know about this band. Also... that feeling you just had hearing The Warning for the first time is priceless... I wish I could relive my first moment with The Warning for the rest of my life.... sooooo good!.
And THIS is the kind of reaction I always expect from a person who knows about music, and listens to Dust to Dust for the first time! 🤘😜 About doing a reality show, I don't think it's necessary. There are tons of videos documenting his path to success for about 15 years to this day! 😎👌
Names are as follows. Daniella aka Dany on lead guitar and vocals. Alejandra aka Ale (pronounced Alay) on bass, and last but most certainly not least weighing in at a buck 10 soaking wet and 4ft 11 Paulina aka Pau (pronouced POW) being an animal on drums and vocals. Okay i'll shut up now.
If this was your very 1st Warning experience, than your reactor-life will change for some weeks… 😉🤗 Nice reaction, you opened a huuuge rabbit hole! Check out Evolve live, from the MTV VMA event… you will be amazed! Thanks guys, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
Welcome to the best rabbit hole you'll ever go down. These amazing ladies are resurrecting real Rock & Roll. What you're going to find out is that every new song you hear from them will be your new favourite song. EACH ONE. You'll find out. This is the first song of the second half of their August 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City (CDMX for short). They were all in black for the first half of the concert and changed to all white for the second half. Btw, you have now opened the floodgates for The Warning Army from whom you'll get an information dump in the next few hours. Enjoy
Welcome to the best rabbit hole in the business...I fell down over 4 years ago and have tried to climb out but keep getting knocked back in by others tumbling down
One of the many things that makes this band unique is that they were NOT pushed into music by their parents, their parents are not musicians. The 3 sisters all decided to do this by themselves. They were supported by excellent parents but the band is their own creation. They all were exposed to music (mostly rock) at a very young age, had piano lessons and all separately wanted to learn different instruments, but forming a band was not the intent. Once they got proficient they realized that they could play together and it was full speed ahead. They have a catalog of approx 50 original songs and not a clanker in the bunch. This Teatro concert is pro-shot and pro-audio so anything you choose from this will be excellent. Have fun!
Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). Best live band I've ever experienced. I went from not seeing anyone live in over 15 years to seeing TW 5 times in the last year and a half. Fantastic at everything they do and only band I've ever followed that doesn't have a single song in their catalog that I dislike. Just incredible. The best part is that they are some of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet. They also treat their fans like family and its definitely reciprocated. Most loyal fan base I've seen since RUSH. More TWA members will be dropping in with lots of info. Subscribed.
10 years of these ladies… they’re probably the best band of my generation, especially live🤘 they’re my favorite artists on and off the stage because of how positive and genuine they’ve been to us fans over the years while giving us great rock music
Welcome to TWRH (The Warning Rabbit Hole). Lots of old and young rockers here. Have a seat. You have started an electrifying journey with the rock and roll of the 21st century (oh, yes, the three musicians you enjoy were all born in this century). Those who have followed them for years know that their talent is huge and the honing of their craft in the instruments and voices has been relentless, the songwriting has been fine-tuned and the results are there after ten years of playing. Now the world will stop and listen, and all of us in The Warning Army will enjoy every second. And yes, as a live band they are as good as in the records, they work for that. They are the real thing. This song was written when they were young teens, basically by Pau, the drummer, as part of a wonderful concept album. They have lyrics that will leave you wondering how such insight is possible in such young artists. You'll get there and be happy to do so.
On 22nd Feb. 2020 The Warning opened for Stryper at their hometown of Monterrey in Mexico. The 1st 3 songs were - Dust to Dust sung by the 18 year old drummer - Red Hands Never Fade sung by the 15 year old bassist - Ugh! sung by the 20 year old guitarist I am just trying to imagine what went through the minds of Stryper fans & their management present at that show.
😂 Fantastic reaction, thanks guys - given a thumbs up!!! Yep they're Mexican, their second language being English although you wouldn't know by hearing them speak, and they're so humble too. They've just celebrated 10 years as a band, started out real young. Currently they are Daniella (Dany) guitar 24, Paulina (Pau - pronounced POW!) drums 22, and the youngest Alejandra (Ale - pronounced Ali) bass 19. Live performances are definitely their Forte. To start you off, you can't go wrong with any song from the "Teatro Metropolitan CDMX" performance. There's nearly 2 hours right there! They are all classically trained on piano, Dany and Ale also play Sax, and they all sing, backing vocals, harmonies etc. although Ale seems to prefer not taking lead. They have released 3 albums and 2 EP's to date, with a new album out this year. They have appeared on TedX talks twice, live at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023 (the only act NOT nominated). Pau has won two awards recently, the one being the Drumeo "Rock Drummer of the Year 2023". They have supported: Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Guns & Roses, Royal Blood, Three Days Grace and about a 9 date stadium tour with Muse to name a few. They tour Europe again in April this year, and have just appeared on the Ship Rocked line-up and are at Wacken Open Air Rock Festival, Germany in August. There is so much to say about these talented young ladies, but I'm sure other dedicated followers "The Warning Army", will not only swamp your channel with comments and likes, but also fill you in on more detail (You have been Warned!) 🤘 TWA⚡UK
Loved your first reaction to my favorite band. I am 65 years old and these 3 sisters are the real deal. They write incredible lyrics, warning the world with the problems they see and deliver their messages with their own unique style of rock, which I find has an infectious sound. It is like they have digested every genre of rock and have blended them all together in a magical way. I have seen them live 4 times and can't wait for my 5th.
The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert: ruclips.net/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/видео.html Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Excellent summary. The Warning first CD "21st Century Blood" is in my car and gets played like "Dark Side of the Moon" did, it is so good. Check out their TedX videos to see how good they were, just kids then.
I just listened to "Shattered Heart (Agua Fría)" The middle instrumental type part is really beautiful and moving, not like anything i have heard before.
It is scientifically proven that the Warning are very addictive, you have more than 40 original songs to listen to and see their concerts, I assure you that many of them are going to be your favorites, they have been formed as a band for 10 years when they were just children
Just a little techie info: their live sound engineer is Lalo Plaza, the video director is Ivan Chavez (who has also directed several of their videos including the current single "S!CK"), and this concert was mixed by Beto Ramos, a drummer in a Mexican band who is also one of Pau's drum mentors. Beto makes a cameo appearance near the end of this show to allow Pau to front the band as she sings "Narcisista". Two of the band members they've toured with - Matt Bellamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm - have gifted Dany custom-made guitars to "pay it forward" since they see this band's potential.
Great reaction! I love seeing people discover TW for the first time, especially if they come from a musical background. You two obviously understand music and can appreciate all that is going on within their songs. My personal recommendation is to either start at the beginning with their cover of Enter Sandman when they were 9, 12 & 14 or jump to something more current like the 2023 MTV VMA's live performance of Evolve.
This is one of those bands that after you hear their first song you then need to listen to and watch every single thing they've ever done on RUclips. I think the drummer is one of the best drummers I've heard in years.
you might want to save or bookmark this comment... you may want to refer to it later 😜😹 *a little history:* many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany on guitar, Pau on drums [like "POW!"], and Ale on bass [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... they are, to many of us, like daughters, nieces, or grand-daughters... DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 4 and 6 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) was still pretty much a newborn... they all started learning and playing classical music on piano... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band... Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer which is a gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing... Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was almost three years ago so she has almost 16 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums as passionately as she does... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old... the bass was Ale's second choice, after the harp, for an instrument... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass which was still pretty large... today, Ale has grown up and effortlessly carries her "Ale's Inferno" colored Spector NS-5XL 5-string with its 35 inch neck... she has been a Spector Featured Artist since she was 15 years old... she worked with the Spector team to create the coloring of the bass which they named "Ale's Inferno"... Ale has also recently acquired a blue Spector bass that she played in most of their 2023 concerts... Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound but a lot of the time you will find Ale connected to an Ampeg amp attached to an 8x10 cabinet so she can feel the rumble of her instrument... Dany is the same way, too... she also like to hear and feel the sound of her guitar when she is on the stage... it is quite different than being in the audience... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live... today the girls are 24 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 22 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 19 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Metropolitan Theater (Teatro Metropolitan) in Mexico City (CDMX) holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they were 14 (Dany), 12 (Pau), and 9 (Ale) years old at the time the video was uploaded to YT because it was too big to email to their grandparents and other family members... they went on vacation for a couple of weeks and came back to a viral video with their father's phone blowing up from all the notifications coming in... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music... in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... today, Nov 2023, there are four renditions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined with Alessia, DPA/TW playing it live in concert, and the latest one with an added 10-piece string section accompanying in concert... all of the concert renditions somehow come out even darker and more foreboding, bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it... some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... they were also the only ones playing on the Extended Stage to be announced on the Main Stage when their songs were played! DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure... additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and have just finished their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe... i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey... the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
I see that The Warning Army has already stormed the comment section so I don't have much to add, just checking in from the midwest. Seen them 3 times already and anxiously waiting for U.S. tour dates to be announced so I can see them again.
One of the best live performers I have ever heard. I don't have a favorite song as they are all so good. You should check out Crimson Queen from Lunario CDMX. The Warning is going places. Playing at Wacken 2024.
My favorite band!! A friend told me about them a little over a year ago and I was hooked! Saw them LIVE at Welcome to Rockville in May, went to the Meet & Greet....These girls Rock!!!!!
GOD!!!!! I am a mexican living in Wisconsin since 1989, listening rock since I was an espermatozoid...classic rock, progressive, punk, grunge, heavy metal, new age, blues, funk, you name it...and I almost took a shit the first time I heard the warning because they're so good...and then I ran out of paper once I founf out that they're mexicans...then poop myself again after learning they're women...ROCK IS NOT DEAD!!!!
.... by the way- The Warning family was approached about doing a reality show. Thankfully, they turned down that trash to continue on with their music.
This song is from "Queen of the Murder scene" album released in 2018, Daniela (guitar) was 18, Paulina (Drums) was 16 and Alejandra (Bass) was just 13 back in that time .
Im so tickled by your excitement about them!! They are my favorite band! Im in Nebraska and I went to LA to see them back in 2022! They rock and they're so freaking passionate and... I don't know the word, earnest maybe? You can't help but get sucked in. I love all of them but Dany(the lead singer and guitarist) is my favorite. She is a great front woman and she pours her heart out to you on stage. Can't wait to watch you discover more of their music!!
You don’t even know the depth of the rabbit hole you just stumbled into! Meet the best band you never heard before, let’s go!

This. Jump in, this is a happy place.
@manuelesquivel9732 that's right! We are TWA
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing and all are classically trained on piano.
From The Warning’s RUclips page you might choose from:
- MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs
- CHOKE, ANIMOSITY, 23, or any other song from their 2022 show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City)
- The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD
- SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk.
I wouldn't say future, I would say present and future.
I was just thiking they are like a female version of rush. with there own fantastic music and presence :)
Holy crap get help...
Might I also add they are from Monterrey Mexico. Speak fluent spanish and english. All trained at a young age in piano. If you wanna hear them singing in spanish check out Martirio from this same show. I can't understand a damn word they are saying but it's a masterpiece.
Lol! 😆
Daniela "Dany" 24 guitar lead singer, Piano

“Evolve” live at the MTV VMA is a must!
That Performance was the first time I saw them perform and I couldn’t stop digging up all their music on UTube!!! They are the real deal!!
In this performance they're 22 (Dany-Guitarist), 20 (Pau-Drummer) and 17 (Alejandra-Bass) but they were 16, 14 and 11 when they wrote and recorded this song 🤯
I really hope more people realize that they’re musical geniuses 🤟🏻
🤯
@@AudioLunchAnd the main riff to this song was written by the 11 year old bassist.
They were 18, 16, and 13 years old when they recorded this.
BTW Ale is the principle song writer on this song.
You Guys don't know it yet...
But you have just discovered your new favorite Band...
You have been warned !!!
I think they actually do know it. 😉
@@charlielightfoot7006 ... lol... I posted before watching the full reaction... I think you're right 😂
Indeed!
I'll be 63 in August, Best rabbit hole since Rush
But I found the rabbit hole long ago, looking for Rush drum covers, Paulina showed up playing Tom Sawyer, alone, way before Sandman, video has been deleted cause I can't find it. That's my question to her If I ever meet her, "Where's that Rush Video ?"
I got u both beat, I’m 68 and the Warning is the Best band to come along in decades ! They have taken rock music to the next level , pure magic !
@@SDsailor7 I believe it was Modern Drummer Magazine.
@@MTH58 Yes thank you. I corrected my comment.
Discography:
- Escape the Mind (EP) 2015
- XXI Century Blood (album) 2017
- Queen of the Murder Scene (album) 2018
- Narcisista (single) 2019
- Error (album) 2022
- More (single) 2023
- Sick (single) 2024
Their most legendary concerts with professionaly shot video are:
- Liceo de Monterrey 2015
- TEDx at University of Nevada Reno 2016 & 2017
- Dakota Bar 2018
- Lunario 2018
- Foro Didi 2019
- Whisky a Go Go 2019 & 2020
- Quarantine Concert 2020
- Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (4K and HD audio) 2022
- UK private show (acoustic and electric, now public) 2023
When not performing they are humble, wholesome (never curse), down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.
When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!
They just added a festival in Poland too. Main stage.
Also… these ladies put out after show videos that are like mini movies! They are awesome too! Welcome to the Warning Army
I’m in Okc too!! Wish I knew them when they played the Zoo in 22
@@jeffreyjameson5510 Ditto, the Zoo would have been a great venue to see them.
How many of us were smiling every time they said "We want to hear MORE".
@randymarple9830 Wait till they hear "MORE", they will fall in Love with Dani, Ale and Pau´s harmonies even MORE
And he said it several times. :)

Hola from Mexico City. You’re late to the party and now have a rabbit hole of almost 50 original songs and ten years of material to go through. We, The Warning Army, will guide and accompany in your journey. It will be a joyride ⚡️🥁🎸🇲🇽🫶🏻
Hello from Argentina!🖐
Here also from Toronto, Canada.
It's so cool to watch ppl fall in love with The Warning. Great reaction! I'll let the TWA member explain everything... but hey you have been warned 😀
They are from Monterrey, Mexico. From a young age they learned English and how to play instruments. They compose the lyrics to their songs and the concert at the Teatro Metropolitan is simply epic...
The Warning Army TWA is here. TWA Sounthern California!!!!!
If I am not mistaken Ale was younger than 13 when she came up with the bass intro line. 11 I think?
Love seeing people hear The Warning for the first time. No one says they are bad or just ok. No one can believe how good they really are.
All of their lyrics are incredibly mature. Yes, that is 3 Mexicans singing in English and 8000 Mexicans singing with them in English. Thats how good they are.
3100 At the Metropolitan.
8000+ at the Pepsi center.
Easy boys, the ladies are YOUNG. 😂😂 Ten years in already and SO amazing and talented. Buckle up, the rabbit hole is DEEP! ⚡️

In for the ride of excellence!! You don't fall into the rabbit hole, the girls pull you in faster than gravity should allow! Enjoy the journey!!
Two things The Warning excel at: Writing AWESOME songs, and dragging in fans of Classic Rock. Especially Rush fans.

Welcome to the best rabbit hole in the business...I fell down over 4 years ago and have tried to climb out but keep getting knocked back in by others tumbling down
🤣🤣🤣
Have fun!
Here comes The Warning Army, a devoted (and a few rabid) fanbase. You're about to get an information overload.
Great reaction! This band is beyond great ❤

The 1st 3 songs were
- Dust to Dust sung by the 18 year old drummer
- Red Hands Never Fade sung by the 15 year old bassist
- Ugh! sung by the 20 year old guitarist
I am just trying to imagine what went through the minds of Stryper fans & their management present at that show.
There is so much to say about these talented young ladies, but I'm sure other dedicated followers "The Warning Army", will not only swamp your channel with comments and likes, but also fill you in on more detail (You have been Warned!) 🤘

You have been Warned! ⚡
In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as
The Warning”.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Excellent comment! I just learned a few things I didn’t know before.
Excellent summary. The Warning first CD "21st Century Blood" is in my car and gets played like "Dark Side of the Moon" did, it is so good. Check out their TedX videos to see how good they were, just kids then.
@@lequ1152both excellent talks. The big thing is to do them both but in order so you can see their progression.
@@timnye718Yes I totally agree 👍 most reactors only see the second presentation and that is only half of the story. People need to see both!
I just listened to "Shattered Heart (Agua Fría)" The middle instrumental type part is really beautiful and moving, not like anything i have heard before.
Несите миру лучшую группу современного рока, The Warning!
You will soon be introduced to The Warning Army. Welcome.
Rock n roll isn't dead, it has just EVOLVE(d)!
anything/everything, TWA loves it all and lots of room down here in the rabbit hole
⚡⚡🎸🥁🎤⚡⚡ You guys hit the jackpot with this one !! The rabbit hole is deep, you will enjoy it thoroughly !!
RIGHT! I only found the like 6 months ago! and now im TOTALLY OBSESSED with their whole catalog!!!!!
It is scientifically proven that the Warning are very addictive, you have more than 40 original songs to listen to and see their concerts, I assure you that many of them are going to be your favorites, they have been formed as a band for 10 years when they were just children
Welcome to the party!
Welcome to The Warning!! Enjoy your journey!! Subscribed!!
Thank you!!
Paulina just won the Drumeo Best Rock Drummer of the year 2023 last week and they won the Best Rock Performance on another site.
You're WARNED! ⚡🤘🏼
“Evole” at the MTV VMAs is a must watch
Great reaction! I love seeing people discover TW for the first time, especially if they come from a musical background. You two obviously understand music and can appreciate all that is going on within their songs. My personal recommendation is to either start at the beginning with their cover of Enter Sandman when they were 9, 12 & 14 or jump to something more current like the 2023 MTV VMA's live performance of Evolve.
This is the best band right now.
I've been in pepsi center Mexico city 10 aniversary performance of The Warning. The best day of my life.
Lucky dog.
Such accomplished artists yet grounded and down to earth people.
Can't help but be pulled in!
Guys. Welcome As a fellow dad... These ladies foster a daddy aspect.. Yet they demand serious respect for their craft. Again welcome to the Army.
Hahahahaha. Waiting bro. Everything about tw is superlative.
This is one of those bands that after you hear their first song you then need to listen to and watch every single thing they've ever done on RUclips. I think the drummer is one of the best drummers I've heard in years.
Great Reaction! Get ready to be blown away.
Get ready for THE WARNING ARMY guys.
I love it when people finally discover the greatest band on the planet...The Warning!
The Warning rules! The Warning Army welcome you! Subs done for more!

*a little history:*
many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany on guitar, Pau on drums [like "POW!"], and Ale on bass [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... they are, to many of us, like daughters, nieces, or grand-daughters...
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
All reactors hearing this song: I love the bassline
Ale, writing that bassline at 11 years old: *smug smile*
The Warning Army is here. Any song you listen to by The Warning will always be your next Favorite. They do not know how to write a bad song.
I see that The Warning Army has already stormed the comment section so I don't have much to add, just checking in from the midwest. Seen them 3 times already and anxiously waiting for U.S. tour dates to be announced so I can see them again.
In less than a year, they've pretty much become my favorite rock band of the last 50 years, they're that good.
THE WARNING. ITS A BAND OF 3 SISTERS FROM MONTERREY. MÉXICO 🇲🇽🇲🇽 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 👍😀 FROM MÉXICO TO THE WHOLE WORLD🇲🇽 🇲🇽🌎🤘👍😀
Every song from this concert was fire. Search their channel The Warning and you will find an endless supply of great performances.
More THE WARNING. Any song. Every song. More THE WARNING
You can’t go wrong with The Warning. All their music is amazing, and live, even better 🤘🏻
YOU. HAVE. BEEN. WARNED!!!! Enjoy the rabbit hole!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
My brain is exploding with this sisters! They are the best since Kiss, Acdc and others. Virtuosity!
.... by the way- The Warning family was approached about doing a reality show. Thankfully, they turned down that trash to continue on with their music.
""Just remember anybody going down this path to listen to these killer's of rock & roll you have been Warned!!""
love the reaction guys haha, your enthusiasm makes me smile
also the sound guy on the teatro metropolitan concert did a phenomenal job
This song is from "Queen of the Murder scene" album released in 2018, Daniela (guitar) was 18, Paulina (Drums) was 16 and Alejandra (Bass) was just 13 back in that time .
TWA is here now. Paulina the drummer just won drumeo rock drummer of the year award
I think we all vividly remember the first time they blew our minds.
I'm a bit of a broken record but you can see that they are having fun playing together.
