I really love this song due to it helping me out during a time of deep depression. This song helped me really get my other problem, the fact that I am stubborn as hell! To do the heavy lifting when those other problems happen! Stubbornness can be a freaking superpower! And I was the geek/dork part!

Context for when the original video came out (2002) : I was just about to transfer high schools in 2003 ( after going to a continuation high school up from 1996-2002, I was about to be a “senior “ ) and got to stay an extra year thus graduating in 2004 ( instead of making me a junior in 2003 ) and I was going through that time where when if you’re black and smart and introverted they label you “ weird “ well headstrong got me through that whole year ( graduating in 2004 ) and led me to be a comic book writer
