For all the errors it makes off of a clean read/scan i think it should be much cheaper. Its 2023 and this software is still very buggy
Fantastic software that's handy for so many musical situations. I realized at the beginning of this video that it's well worth my time to search through your older videos. I purchased this to arrange an orchestral score but the instrumentation is not the same from line to line (ex. the clarinet drops out and is then absent in the next line) but photoscore assumes all lines are the same. Do you know how to adjust the instrument assignments to correct this?
I don't know if I am the only one that this happens to, but when I upload music to Photoscore there are a lot of different parts that are not the same from the original upload. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you for all the help.

I have some budget that I have decided to buy photoscore or smartscore but there is not enough information on the web so I can decide between them because of that I had no choice but to bother you and asking for help
Which one of them you suggest? Money is not problem I just want to know overally which one of them is more intelligent and advanced or from technology aspect which one is more forward and rich?
Is it possible to scan into PhotoScore from scanners not physically connected to your computer? I have access to multiple, high quality scanners. However, they all are on various networks for which my access is wifi only.
how would you input a tie? i tried a slur but it doesnt have the right effect on playback

Know you that how can I record solo midi on Reaper and write a komplete songsheet out on papper or PDF.
Can you make an exempel video to example that play lite piano with a virtual instrument on right hand and then how you make songsheet of this with Reaper. And musescore or another ftee or shareware program?
I have tried it for many years before, but no good result.

This is terrific. Thank you! I've had the software for a long time but found the interface to be confusing and awkward. Question...I do not read music well, and most of the issues I have with making corrections to the music scans is separating voices in the piano staff to make the timing work. If the scan is a faithful representation of what's printed in the music, is that something I can ignore?

Playscore is not free, but it is very inexpensive. It can import PDFs. I can't remember off the top of my head if it does guitar tab - it's been a few months since I reviewed it - but here is the review so you can see what it does ruclips.net/video/CVzWYNA2yFE/видео.html
Excellent video and channel. Can Photoscore generate Guitar Tablature from the imported PDF which has Notation only.? Can I input notes using Tab?. Can I edit notes using Tab.?
I asked the question directly to Neuratron. They replied that Photoscore cannot generate tab from notation nor can notes cannot be inputted via tab. Photoscore can import notation and tab that has already been created in another app.
I have not found any app better than Guitar Pro for dealing with notation and tab. You can input and edit either notation or tab and the edits will be reflected in both notation and tab.
Of course Guitar Pro does not import PDF’s. It can import Music XML and MIDI files.
PlayScore 2 is the best, least expensive and easiest to use music scanner app that I have found.

I'm looking into this as well. But guitarpro can import music xml, so it sounds like you can go via that format.

Following a cursor darting around a page is nauseating and unsettling. Great content, but IMO use of cursor in this way detracts from tutorial.
