@@SCIUReaper What the OP means is that it's a pretty broad-sweeping generalisation. Yes, the people this particular documentary visited are Wiccan, and that's how they practice. Not ALL witches are Wiccan, though. I'm not. I'm a Hearth Witch, but I'm not Wiccan.

I am at the beginning of my pagan/witch journey and it never ceases to amaze me how ignorant and disrepectful people are towards Wiccans/pagans. They are still brainwashed by views espoused by the Medieval Church. I was brought up a strict catholic but in my heart it didnt resonate with me. I studied Theology at university and my eyes were opened to other beliefs especially Buddhism. I could relate to Buddhist pholosophy more than I ever did to Christianity. Recently I have been researching Paganism, Wicca and Witchcraft and feel a deep connection to it. Its all about living as part of Nature ,working with what Nature has to offer us and respecting Nature. A message for these times. It has nothing to do with devil worship as the devil doesnt exist in witchcraft. Its message is to do no harm or it will return to you. Karma in other words. I am so happy to have a spiritual path that doesnt involve the patriarchy telling women how to live. I class myself as a Buddhist Witch. People need to get educated about this spiritual path.

Essential oil of the Sun? How do they harvest that?

If you wanna get down to brass-tacks about it, it's mainly a mental exercise in which someone imagines the light of the sun shining into, and subsequently empowering ("charging"), the oil. It's not an _essential_ oil, as much as an herb-infused oil, using plants, minerals, and other things, associated with the Sun. (Very likely to be a carrier/base of SUNflower oil, in that instance.)
Depending on the person/tradition, the oil could then be used to symbolically imbue a ritual or spell with the the light, heat, and overall power of the sun, as in dispelling depression (brightening a cloudy mood, etc.), or anointing a candle for use in a Winter Solstice (Yule) ceremony, to "return" the Sun's heat and light on the longest night of the year...

I do work with karma and I do rituals at times after many times of a same person repeatedly exuding bad behavior towards me I will send exact same scenario upon them I do binding and shut up stop gossiping rituals I do move away rituals but I don’t ask goddess to impose harm or I’ll will on someone. Has anyone read the Key of Solomon lately? It's mostly medieval Christian prayers invoking the God of the Bible... Gerald Brousseau Gardner borrowed heavily from the book called the Key of Solomon...and I am not a Roman Catholic by any means...but many things in the Key of Solomon...is things borrowed from medieval Catholicism... mixed with High Magic. Wicca is primarily a made-up religion that is very collectic of Christian traditions. . . Even the alexandrian traditions stoled from the Jewish mystical traditions and the teachings of the gardnerian tradition... I met the Ferraris many years ago when they came to the US... Stewart was a chain smoker and smoking was what eventually took his life an Janet was a boozer loved her drinking...a few years later I repented and made Jesus the Lord and Savior of my life...thank you Jesus for my salvation...
.Wicca is a made up religion, that worships created things instead of the creator of all things...I was a Wiccan of a shyclad coven for many a years, then Someone told me about the Creator of all things...And I made Jesus the Lord and Savior of my life and it changed my life for ever...the term Blessed Be...comes from the Christian bible and is older then any Wiccan coven ...or book on the subject... Casting a Circle or making Holy Water, or censing a circle with incense has it roots in the Christian Church...The use of a athame, is called a Sots or Sword of the Spirit...is a reference to the Holy Bible...and is used in some. Christain traditions....as prayers are said...candles to mark the quarters of a magic circle...have been used in many a Cathedral or church...to represent the four corners of God's creation... There is a God and he sent his Son Yeshua Hamashiach to earth as Emmanuel God with us...the church at large is a type and shadow of the feminine aspect, we are known as the Bride of Christ...many aspects of Christianity have been Borrowed by wiccans...but true salvation is by faith in the risen Savior, Jesus the Christ ...Hodos!
