Really appreciate your videos! My 99 F-250 has been daily driver for 8yrs (now up to 153k miles) and it's time to start doing many of the same upgrades you have done. Your videos will help greatly!
Another clear and concise video. I greatly appreciate your effort at producing a quality product. A pleasure to watch! Will consider the upgrade to my 99 F-350.
Good video; real helpful. My project upgraded from the enclosed glass cube headlight. Lens is plastic so there's no durability, just luck whether I get hit with a stone or not.
Thanks for posting I don’t want this hassle I’ll probably just stick a pair or 05-07 headlights on. I hate dealing with plastic hardware from cheaper companies parts.
I changed mine and looked like you're, however, when I got the high and low beam adjusted. The high or low beam was way out of adjustment.....I mouth have tried about 50 times to adjust it correctly, nothing would work with aftermarket headlights, plus I spoke to a guy that owns a mechanic shop and he's got the same problem. Therefore in best to buy Ford OEM parts
Great video, just a tip, on the bottom plastic fasteners with the 2 tabs, push a 14mm 12 point socket over them and it will release both tabs at once. If the metal retaining clips on the top break, use Dorman 42190 for a replacement. Ford gets 20 bucks a piece for them and the Dormans are 3 bucks each.
@@TheBTRGarageThank you also, I never thought about measuring the adjusters to match up with the new ones. I just did a set today and it made a huge difference, it required almost no adjustments at all when finished.
Hi Justin. I bought the headlights. However there is a gap between the two. You mentioned at the end of the video that you may do a adjustment video. I am not sure if you had the chance or maybe you actually did record the adjustment video. Bottom line is, can you please explain how to adjust the two so as they are snug? Thanks Justin. Love your stuff
Love your truck videos, I would love to smack the crap out of whomever designed those clips, they are the biggest pain in the ass. Nice upgrade, I want to get smoked for the my dually because after you got me hooked on the tail lights I've done roof and marker smoked lenses now the truck just needs smoked front lights
Haha, for real those clips can be a pain, which reminds me I need to put the link up on where to buy replacements. One of mine went flying into the abyss when pulling it out =) Thanks for watching!
Your videos for the F250 are amazing. I have used several of them as reference for maintenance and upgrades on my recently purchased 2000 model. Thank you so much for making these and keep them coming. Do you know about the fog lights? Mine does not have them? Were they stock?
Awesome, glad the videos are helpful! The fog lights are an OEM part, not sure if they were part of a package or trim level though. You can buy OEM fog light kits out there.
Hello sir.... I purchased this Headlight assembly for my 02 Super Duty. As discussed before, I went with the SeaLight 100w LED Bulbs. I also, in addition purchased the SeaLight LED turn signal and marker light bulbs. I have seen elsewhere that there is some kind of regulator or something that is needed in order for these LED turn signal and marker lights to flash correctly? Is this true?
Hmm, I am not, I have not installed LED's into the OEM turn signal/marker locations yet. I would think it would be plug and play, but again have not tested personally yet.
@@TheBTRGarage I will let you know then brother. Take care and thanks for your videos. Any future content you can add as far as Super Duty's are concerned, I'm sure would be appreciated by many.
I may do that at some point, this was something simple and inexpensive. The 06 upgrade requires a bit of cutting and more advanced installation, which I'm sure you know!
I have not done a video update yet. But, I still have the headlights on the truck and they are holding up fine for the most part. One of the pop-in connections on one side will occasionally pop out (the corner of the signal housing). Not a big deal, might have been a slight manufacturing defect as the other side is fine.
@@TheBTRGarage Yeah its a 99, but there are two screws in between the bumper and bottom of the amber so I only really can access them if i take my bumper off.
Those are different screws than the ones I show how to remove in the video? Mine also had 2 screws under the amber light housing, between that and the bumper. You have to stick a long screw driver between the bumper and light housing to remove them.
@@TheBTRGarage Im not really a car guy except stuff like this, do they make a small screwdriver that can bend a little? its a little offset, not a straight shot through the gap.

Thanks for the nice comments! Much appreciated and glad the video(s) are helpful 👍
Thank you Justin...of all the videos out there, this one is by far the most comprehensive. I look forward to upgrading my early 99. Cheers
No problem, glad to help!
The 05-07 lights are just as fast if not quicker to install and much nicer.
I'll be looking at those next!

Good video, would like to have seen some beam shots. They end up any different?
What signal and running light LED's did you end up using? Any recommendations?

Any update on the longevity of the DWVO headlights? Are you still happy with them?
I'll be posting a follow up video soon. They are holding up ok for the most part with a couple minor issues that don't affect functionality.

Why don’t my ambers pop out? On the v10 250 I have to drop the bumper
Hmm, not sure, that sounds really odd. It is a 1999 - 2004 model year truck right?

You could try a flexible screw driver, something like this below. You'll need the Philips screw driver bit as well:
