I love the small monolithic dome house. I would be staying in there because, like you, I would (will) get lost and would need to use a teleport spell just to get out. Save me a seat in the dining hall where we can look down on all the peasants. The place is huge!!!! and was that a statue of Ysgramor in a snow elf castle? Seems strange to me. I was watching this in my living room on my tv getting lost with you. I almost lost it when the Benny Hill chase music was on. Damn near fell right out of my chair. You are just the awesomest of awesome people. That was great!
Thanks for the detailed video! I really like the design and colors of the palace. Not sure I would have found out the secret room on my own. I also like how it’s relatively close to Winterhold, since I spend a good amount of time at the college. Had no issues with crossing the map border like some others on nexus. I do wish there were more NPC’s, though. Not too many, just enough for it to feel more lively. If the mod author ever sees this, hopefully he/she will consider this :D Ultimately I still prefer Ayleid palace, but I’m happy to have another great home in my load order! Great work to the mod author and to you for the review! Earned yourself a sub!
Replacing the Skyrim themed music with the Benny Hill Theme would probably suit my gaming experience pretty well. I have this home in my load order and love it for the Snow Elf aesthetic but, like many, it has not gotten the attention it deserves. Thanks for putting out the vids to remind me that there has been an update and that I really should appreciate the mods I already have, even as I keep piling in new ones. Have you ever noticed that phenomenon when taking a friend on a tour of an area familiar to you and hearing them express their admiration for something you see every day? You remember it was pretty spiff when you first saw it but now its more tired background than special. Then you see things through their lens and suddenly it comes back into focus in a way that causes you to appreciate it anew. That's what you do for me Feb with these mods. Well done!
I wish the LOTD Musium in Solitude had this much grandeur. This should be apt for such a big Musium that you decorate. This is truly a palace. I would say better than Blue palace interior

I enjoy having places to display my loot, but I always wonder about the customized displays for certain things-- for example, why in Oblivion would an ELF-themed home have a display for WUUTHRAD? A weapon specifically designed to kill elves, and wielded by an implacable enemy of the elves? Just a thought. I was really shocked to see the Ysgramor statue in the Velothi palace mod....
I wholeheartedly agree. From a lore-viewpoint it would make a lot more sense if you could build displays yourself inside a more generic trophyroom, heartfire style. Or empty space ‘activator’ that gives the impression of “building” the display when you place the item. But I have no idea how easy or hard that would be to put in. Playing mods is one thing, making them tho…
Ooh boy... I'm about to download this mod because I love love the Snow Elves and their culture in skyrim. I really hope this mod doesn't do that, and just stick to elven culture with Auriel and their other aedric gods, seeing Wuuthrad or other Nordic gods/artifacts would be horrible on lore aspect... I had to uninstall another snow elf castle mod (Vjarkell) because there were so many statues of Daedric gods everywhere... and a huge statue of Azura in the literal shrine that should have been dedicated to Auriel. I haven't watched this video yet, looking to go in blind :) Excited to find out what's in the palace.
Nice use of colour throughout the place for sure. I'd be happy in the little home myself, but I do enjoy smaller spaces so maybe that's part of why. But the Palace itself is certainly nice as well.

I can't keep up on the cleaning up in my small home in real life, and imagining having this much space to try to keep free of dust, dirt, and cobwebs... All that mopping and rug beating, and wood polishing makes me tired. Good thing this is a videogame and that's not a problem.
Not too sure how I feel about "burial" urns being used for storage in the kitchen? But I could just live in the pool area and be happy. Unlike most of the snow elf stuff this seems warm and cozy. Not cold at all. I love, love,love the Benny Hill theme, that is exactly what plays thru my head when I get turned around in Skyrim...lol. Love the mod. Only thing is the snow elves who guard the palace keep running out of arrows and I just want them to have snow elf arrows consistently does anyone know how I can find the console ID for their arrows? And please don't say to pull up the console and click on them because no the ID that comes up even when added with the number of the load order does not give me the arrows..

I had a laugh when you introduced the "small" home . . . . not that small! The "BIG" house is lovely, but not sure what to do with it. . . . although I'll take the pool room! This is definitely a wonderful upgrade to the original mod. Why did we stop building round houses and went to square ones? Well, because we've become "squares" who don't get around much any more! I've always loved yurts, geodesic domes and curvy homes. As for English weather, I spent a few summers in England, in north Cumbria, and i gotta say, to paraphrase Samuel Clemens, "The coldest winter i ever had was a summer in England"!
RP wise, I love the idea that the snow elves thought they were extinct as a race but now have somewhere for all the refugees who had been living alone to come and build a community again.
I placed my bet for 100 septims on you getting lost less than 5 times , not sure how I did. I think you get homefield advantage when it comes to a SkyrimLazz mod. I laugh so hard every time that Benny Hill music is played.
@@FebrithDarkstar let's be honest his work is awesome. It blends right into the theme he builds in. Like the deadric castle it's built for someone who likes the theme. The NPCs gaurds they are all so awesome it's very good.
So many amazing things yet most of them are nothing but static simulations… I want my gaming experience to be as realistic and immersive as possible. When a Modder uses these static simulations it just really destroys the whole immersion factor… Otherwise the Modder did an amazing job on this…!!!
