This is Vaillant giving us a Presentation about their "AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS".
There is some very helpful and useful information in this presentation.
I filmed this at the Marriott Hotel in Portsmouth where Vaillant was doing a presentation on there new "Vaillant Ecotec Plus Combination Boiler" range, released July 2023.
Simon Baker the South of England area manager gives an hour long presentation all about their new boiler and how it is going to take use into the next generation of boiler where we will be using mixed gases like Natural gas and Hydrogen gas.
The range covers these new boilers.

As a consumer, I can understand and probably stomach the cost of a ASP when the time comes to replace the gas boiler, but I keep reading that it's highly likely that it will mean the pipework and all rads will all need replacing too - and that's just too much cost and hassle to bear.

Rad upgrades are very cheap and easy. In my case, we didn't need pipe upgrades despite 10mm microbore throughout the ground floor.

Why bother heating water and have pipes and rads to heat the air? Why not use an air/air heat pump and just blow warm air into buildings?
