Those “force is female” shirts are so ridiculously divisive, sexist, and hateful. The force was never male or female. It’s why the original trilogy was such a hit. Now some bitter women decided, no this is ours, it’s not for boys anymore despite the fact it never was.

it was though...the only force users, were all men in the original trilogy... i get the argument that it was a "boys club"; but i understand that there was no official statement about it being that way, for 'the boys". I think that is the argument you are trying to make. unlike Kathleen Kennedy's "the force is female" marketing, the force and Star Wars never officially took the stance that its for men. (the 70's and 80's era of sci- fi, was just generally more adopted by men over women) so the offended, point too that as saying it was an exclusionary gate kept "boys club".

There was a reason that Star Wars toys were sold in the boys toys section, it was absolutely aimed at boys. It wasn't until the prequels when Amidala and Leia started getting "barbie" dolls specifically for girls. And even when the force awakens started making toys Rey wasn't part of the first wave and there was a big backlash about it. Why do Star Wars fans have such selective memories?

And while it isn't a bad thing to me but probably would be bad to many people, he did raceswap Boba Fett seemingly specifically for the sake of diversity.

Most people in the creative industry, the creatives, would reflect if their audience were drying up. If they were being ridiculed instead of admired, they would reflect on what they were doing wrong. But not these clowns. They will drive their careers into the ground.

There's no way a writer director, a temporary staff on contract would kill off the main reason for the existence of star wars by himself... The wtudio would never allow it, it changes the lore something big and this is the same Disney that wanted baby yoda back because he's a cash cow... I don't think Ruin Johnson was responsible for his death especially after looking at the scene before his death... He said "see you around, kid" like they Ruin intended to keep him alive and his death just came out of nowhere and seened like it was tacked on at the last moment as if an higher up told him to do it and it can't be Disney, the kings of formulaic stories, member berries and fanservicing, there's no way they'll kill of luke...
But do you know who can make that choice without being fired or even punished by disney??? Well, the member of the board of directors and the CEO of lucasfilm and yhe executive producer of the trilogy who purposefully didn't hire any producer to make herself the main producer of the trilogy rather than stepping back like feige does with marvel, Kathleen Kennedy... She can't be fired and makes decisions for lucasfilm and this was during the height of feminism, only her could be that powerful to push it through...
The proof is the fact that disney and jar jar Abrams could easily bring back look because nobody mentioned his death at the ending of TLJ, they could have easily brought back luke after seeing the immense backlash even though it made money especially when solo didn't make money because even if it made money, Luke's involvement would still make them more money and they could easily bring him back, just make it that when he disappeared he actually teleported not die so you'll open the ruse of Skywalker appearing at his destination... I don't believe abrams who loves mystery boxes and unpredictability won't have jumped on that instead of palpatine because Luke brings way more money than palpy, way more... So if Luke's death was done by Ruin, abrams would have retconned it immediately like he retconned most of what Ruin introduced in TLJ... But he didn't or most likely he couldn't, because it wasn't Ruin's decision to kill off luke, it was the head of Lucas film that wanted it, Kathleen Kennedy, the head producer of the movie so he couldn't do it... I'm so sure that's what happened...
And the same applies for palpatine returning... It's much easier to bring back snoke than palpatine... If they had brought back Luke, they would have had their member berries whilst snoke would be a clean slate villian in which abrams can justify a lot of his choices and he won't have needed to think up nonsense to justify palpy's survival... It doesn't get anyone anything, the fans would see it has stealing the glory of the freaking OT and no one is excited for palpatine especially when thrawn exists, even if no one minded it and didn't see it has stealing the glory of the OT heroes, there's no way anyone would be interested in seeing the OT emperor, he was so unremarkable in the OT there's no way he would have created any excitement...
So i don't believe even the shittiest of producers or directors would make that choice when his own OC villain was obviously prematurely killed and there's backlash for his death from the fans as they were most interested in knowing who snoke was, snoke's story hasn't even been told yet... And you can explain how he survived way way easier and better than how the emperor survived and you won't piss off thr fans and confuse the normies who might not know who this sudden villaiyfrom hammer space is with no introduction or even a reference to from the previous movies, i don't believe any director can be that shit especially a veteran and no way Disney would have allowed hom to do that as well, reach into the past and grab the glory of the past from the grave when there's fucking thrawn just right their or when there's still a villain available, i don't think Disney would allow that...
But Kathleen might because she wants her Mary sue self insert to kill the mainstay villain of the two trilogies and clone wars (which belongs to Lucas not filoni), the biggest bad of the star wars canon, she would have wanted her self insert to kill the main bad guy to show the guys and show that all those other trilogies were leading to Rey not luke or Anakin, her self insert was actually the chosen one who brought balance to the force not the white males that are luke and Anakin... it's Rey, Kathleen's self insert to tie all the trilogies together, she stole the glory of the OT and gave it to Rey who did it on her own when palpatine was at his strongest form, doesn't that sound like a self insert fanfiction??? Unlike JJ and Rian, Kathleen Kennedy’s name as the head producer is on all three SW sequels. She may not have written and directed the films, but she oversaw the entire productions since day one. Even though George did not direct Empire and Jedi, he carefully oversaw both films and had to sign off on them as an EP and CEO of Lucasfilm.
Been saying since TLJ, the fault of no road map for the sequel trilogy is on Kathleen Kennedy.
Not to mention that she fired Colin Trevorrow and replaced him with Ruin Johnson who sank the ship to the bottom of the Mariana trench.

It was a fantastic special, my only complaint is that they tried to “both sides” it. No, the public did not force her hand, and I seriously doubt that many people were racist and sexist in their feedback. Pretty much everyone I’ve heard is just sick of the pandering, poor writing, and lack of respect for established canon. They don’t hate women or other races, they hate that the studios think they do and need to be taught a lesson.
So I'm a Star Wars hand and let me assure you, people do hate KK. They think she poisoned their well and salted their crops. They sent horrible hate messages exclusively to the actors and KK, not the male directors or Bob Iger, the man who by all accounts is the real reason the sequels had problems

All, Rian Johnson's movie has been somewhat vindicated by history and reviews. You either love it or you hate it. The point about the woke cult being pro-corporate is a big one. I was shocked after the release of TLJ when it's defenders told critics to shut up because Disney had BOUGHT THE RIGHTS. Being an old-school liberal, born in 1960, I was amazed by the sudden about face regarding corporate power. I was equally amazed that no one seemed to notice.
Basically the whole "Overton window" thing in action, plus the sheer goldfish memory span of modern Western generations. It's very easy to manipulate people who don't seem to trace back their thought basis further than 6 months into the past. Which is something the corporate machines worked hard to achieve, getting so many people used to, accepting of, being that dumbed-down and shallow as the new norm.

I got the manta a year ago, that thing looks great but you need your eye sockets in a special shape or else it won't fit, no matter how much you try to put the eye covers so light bleeds in a lot more than with a regular mask and when you sleep on your side they move so they are useless. the best thing is to get a regular flat mask that covers a lot below the eyes and with integrated fillings for the nose

A large part of the fault for Star Wars’s death has to be attributed to the Disney management- for allowing KK to continue to desecrate George Lucas’s vision and our beloved heroes, especially after TLJ; for allowing their “story group” terrible writers to produce crap programs; and for allowing their employees to disrespect and attack fans.
Hate to break it to you, but George Lucas desecrated George Lucas' vision. Or do you really think that the current Original Trilogy are the films we saw in theaters?

The parody is pretty much spot-on, but the problem is that it has come too late. The damage to the franchise has been done, and there is no un-ringing that bell.
The entire point to Kathleen Kennedy's involvement with the Star Wars franchise was to change it, and she has done that. It has been ruined forever. The only way to enjoy the original story is to just not watch anything from Disney (with the only possible exception being Rogue One) and just pretend like they don't exist.
Moreover, Bob Eiger is ultimately responsible for this mess. He should've been lampooned at least as much. He wasn't a clueless victim: the man was in charge. He was either weak and couldn't get Kennedy in line, or he actually agreed with what she was doing. Either way, I think he got off light in this episode.
All of this was done deliberately. The point was to weaken White male characters, substitute them with "Diverse" and female characters, and ruin the visuals, all of which was done.
Mission accomplished. That's why lots of people who were formerly fans of franchises like Star Wars, the MCU, and others ruined by Disney are simply no longer following them anymore.
How can someone be so bad at their job but continue to keep it? It boggles my mind.

I think she's even more at fault than you think, think about it... There's no way a writer director, a temporary staff on contract would kill off the main reason for the existence of star wars by himself... The wtudio would never allow it, it changes the lore something big and this is the same Disney that wanted baby yoda back because he's a cash cow... They won't have allowed their cashiest of cash cows, Luke motherfuvking Skywalker be killed off by someone who's just on contract and not a permanent stay...
I don't think Ruin Johnson was responsible for his death especially after looking at the scene before his death... He said "see you around, kid" like they Ruin intended to keep him alive and his death just came out of nowhere and seened like it was tacked on at the last moment as if an higher up told him to do it and it can't be Disney, the kings of formulaic stories, member berries and fanservicing, there's no way they'll kill of luke...
But do you know who can make that choice without being fired or even punished by disney??? Well, the member of the board of directors and the CEO of lucasfilm and yhe executive producer of the trilogy who purposefully didn't hire any producer to make herself the main producer of the trilogy rather than stepping back like feige does with marvel, Kathleen Kennedy... She can't be fired and makes decisions for lucasfilm and this was during the height of feminism, only her could be that powerful to push it through...
The proof is the fact that disney and jar jar Abrams could easily bring back look because nobody mentioned his death at the ending of TLJ, they could have easily brought back luke after seeing the immense backlash even though it made money especially when solo didn't make money because even if it made money, Luke's involvement would still make them more money and they could easily bring him back, just make it that when he disappeared he actually teleported not die so you'll open the ruse of Skywalker appearing at his destination... I don't believe abrams who loves mystery boxes and unpredictability won't have jumped on that instead of palpatine because Luke brings way more money than palpy, way more... So if Luke's death was done by Ruin, abrams would have retconned it immediately like he retconned most of what Ruin introduced in TLJ... But he didn't or most likely he couldn't, because it wasn't Ruin's decision to kill off luke, it was the head of Lucas film that wanted it, Kathleen Kennedy, the head producer of the movie so he couldn't do it... I'm so sure that's what happened...
And the same applies for palpatine returning... It's much easier to bring back snoke than palpatine... If they had brought back Luke, they would have had their member berries whilst snoke would be a clean slate villian in which abrams can justify a lot of his choices and he won't have needed to think up nonsense to justify palpy's survival... It doesn't get anyone anything, the fans would see it has stealing the glory of the freaking OT and no one is excited for palpatine especially when thrawn exists, even if no one minded it and didn't see it has stealing the glory of the OT heroes, there's no way anyone would be interested in seeing the OT emperor, he was so unremarkable in the OT there's no way he would have created any excitement...
So i don't believe even the shittiest of producers or directors would make that choice when his own OC villain was obviously prematurely killed and there's backlash for his death from the fans as they were most interested in knowing who snoke was, snoke's story hasn't even been told yet... And you can explain how he survived way way easier and better than how the emperor survived and you won't piss off thr fans and confuse the normies who might not know who this sudden villaiyfrom hammer space is with no introduction or even a reference to from the previous movies, i don't believe any director can be that shit especially a veteran and no way Disney would have allowed hom to do that as well, reach into the past and grab the glory of the past from the grave when there's fucking thrawn just right their or when there's still a villain available, i don't think Disney would allow that...
