It warms my heart that there's at least some people out there who genuinely love and care about these beautiful animals. They don't deserve all this hate and abuse from humans. Just cause they're not fluffy and huggable doesn't mean they don't deserve love and respect.
I mean they'd kill your kid and feel nothing...so yeah I think it is reasonable to not care about them. rest assured, they do not care about you. The only use of them is to teach us to appreciate morals and emotions
It's so funny watching them all lining up like they're at the Drive-Thru ready to place and pick up their orders!!😂😅... they are all behaving, waiting to hear their names. 🤯That is just mind bending how well behaved Chris has trained them to be!👍 Good Job Gator Whisperer! Steve Irwin would be SO VERY PROUD IF YOU and Gabby and ALL the "Gator Boys". ( I loved that show. Why did it end? It was AWESOME.)
Casper definitely seems the best behaved, but I could see an amazing underwater gator tour with shrinker, boris, or brutus. Keep up the good work guys!
This show is so important, I'm so happy about your honesty. I just moved to the Treasure Coast from NY and I was so afraid of every body of water, puddles even. I had actually said out loud that I didn't understand why we would protect such dangerous creatures. I know, bad thoughts but I was that afraid of them. I have learned so much from watching your videos, I no longer wish to destroy what I feared. Doesn't mean I'm ready to swim with them though. Much respect to you both.
I appreciate this. As a native I'm used to alligators, you assume they're in any body of water but they're not out to get you. Just take some precautions- don't walk small animals by the water, and don't feed them. But so many people who move are terrified of them, and I'm like just respect them and you'll probably rarely see them. They're honestly pretty chill. Our local nature walk has some gators, and if you're lucky you'll see the big ones or the babies. The more you understand things, the less scary they are. They come through our territory because we have taken so much of theirs.
I love all alligators and Crocs because they are so gorgeous! GOD bless you both for taking care of them. P.S I'll love to be part of your team to take care of all of your animals. When they hiss they sound like anile from the movie lol. Sending both lots of Buffalove
Why is MY heart racing when all these crocs come towards you? 😂 You guys are awesome! I find it soooooo amazing that a) all these crocs are so close to each other, and even with food offerings they do not snap at each other like even dogs may do ... 🤔, and b) I find it incredible that you guys notice all these animals' movements at the same time; I do not even know where to look first! 😳 So great you are helping these rescue reptiles. Greetings from Berlin Germany ♥️🤗👍🇩🇪
I don't know why but i cannot get enough of watching you handle these dinosaurs, feeding them, petting them. It's so cool to see them respond their names. I will watch it every single time - no need to see a show about "watch this gator do a cool trick", when i can just watch a guy treat them like kittens
Hey guys, I love these videos so much! They make my day:). Seeing those two Gators in the water rub snouts together? SO CUTE ☺️ Looking forward to your next video (as always). I got a Jellybean tank and I love it❤️!!!
Thanks for your great videos. Your both wonderful ambassadors for animals and great people😍. I'm from Scotland and would never see or know about alligators. I've learnt such a lot Thank-you

It is just they're looking for love and will take what they can get, because their hormones are high- is there any more to it? They make new pairings each season, correct? (I assume unless they're housed together.)
What a nice video! It looks like you two are having a great day. I know all of these alligators definitely eat more than you show on camera. Do they get whole prey? Is there a regular feeding session? Thanks : )
They do get whole prey! The reason that we actually went out and bought meat is because we only had rats to feed them, and we didn’t want RUclips flag us for graphic content. That’s why we went and bought chicken!
@@FloridasWildest Thanks! you always answer my questions and i appreciate that. Where do animals hit by cars go? Here in Idaho they do to wolves. There are many dear killed by cars here.
@@FloridasWildest I was wondering about that too. I love seeing all the ones with names being fed I love all their lil personalities but can y’all do a video feeding some of the other ones that come up that you don’t really know. Unless there’s a reason y’all don’t?
The ones they dont work with are just wild, so they dont interact with them at all. Not sure if there is a reason they dont train them, but they said associating humans with food is bad, so them coming over and then getting fed mightbe a bad habbit to form.
Very cute and cool! What’s the beginning stages of training a gator like? When in a large group like that, do the ones you haven’t worked with learn from watching the ones you do work with?
Chris I'd like to ask, when you working with them with a name training and posing etc. What does it mean of theirs hissing and as if grunting? Is it a warning or are they letting you know "look, I'm here for a food?" beacaue they remember you even after two years with no contact and still turning and reacting in the same way. Thx
When new alligators come up to shore like the few in this video, do you feed them? At what point would you start to train the repeat “unknown” ones that come on shore?
Do you have a video where you show of this enclosure a bit more of it like a tour, would be interesting learning a bit more about them. How they are designed, what places are picked and so on to make these animals thrive as well as a can be expected? Is it the goverment or private citizen who creates these and do you need special permissions and so on? Im from a different country so laws and ways to create these are most likely completely different on this. :)
Hey maybe in a future video if you haven't already done it can you please explain how you tell the alligators apart because to me they all look the same.
Interested to know where you guys get your funding from! Feeding and supporting all the rescue animals that you have can’t be cost effective. Obviously your gator tours help as you’ve talked about, but curious if you have any other partners or donors that help y’all out!

Crocs have always been my biggest fear. The death roll is really what created this fear...I mean they aren't the cuddliest looking animal but once I seen a croc death roll his friend crocs arm because he thot it was food (video on RUclips) I officially said I. Am. Terrified. !!!
They don't neuter the gators. The nests are usually fairly large so its easy to find them before the eggs hatch. If any eggs got the chance to hatch, they would definitely be eaten by the other gators, but the mother of any hatchling would become very aggressive towards other gators to protect them. Its why its so important for them to find the eggs as soon as possible and destroy them before an embryo forms. They can't release any of the gators in their care, which would include any babies. If they kept all the eggs and let them hatch, they wouldn't have any room. Its more ethical to destroy the eggs before they can hatch, especially since there is nothing in them immediately(like chicken eggs, you have to give it time before an embryo starts to form), than it is to allow them to be hatched normally and eaten, or over populate the rescue. A lot of things can go wrong with sterilization of animals, and the added stress of being caught then going through surgery would most likely kill these animals due to lactic acid. But thats just an educated guess. I'm not 100% sure if it would stress them out to that point, but he has said before theres a lot that could go wrong and they don't want to risk the safety of the animals
