Is it worth buying that type of ladder with the platform because of the weight ? Is it to heavy.
alex flores I have the Xtreme 26, and it is not light, but it is easy to move and articulate. I use it mostly in the A frame setup. With the ratchets and the insert that fits in the top, it is amazing. I have never felt this comfortable and safe at the top of a ladder.

My Velocity M22 arrived today. It is about 2' too short to do what I need (paint my ceiling). I will sell this one to a coworker, or gift it to a family member. It is an awesome ladder, and convinced me to order the Xtreme model 26. I'm thinking the larger ladder will take two people to articulate, but I think it will reach our cathedral ceilings just like we need.

i love to use this everyday. I have a garden on my roof, i grow potatoes and raddishs. but i cant get on my roof without a ladder. It's great for everyday use!. My dog frequently likes to climb thee neighbors oak tree, but BebbBE always gets stuck, its so sad. This ladder has saved my dog multiple times! I love to do party tricks with this ladder as well! Its a great buy i sincerely recommend. My favorite part is the raAtCheting effect OH MY GOD ITS HEAVENLYYY!!! ;)

I am considering buying a 26 reach one but when used in full extension is extremelly scary because bounces and shakes a lot where the 4 pieces connect. Is little giant fixing that dangerous problem anytime soon?
Are you referring to the hinge in the middle? Some bouncing and flexing is normal - we recommend ensuring the hinge is locked, and then pulled out to the correct 75º angle before you climb. If it was absolutely rigid, it would be a very tight tolerance and people would have a hard time locking and unlocking the hinge easily, and have difficulty adjusting the ladder into all the other positions.

it is discontinued. How does the air deck fit on to the velocity?
The Air Deck only fits into the accessory port of certain ladders. The Velocity does not have an accessory port, but the Leveler 26 does and so do all sizes of the Epic. Check our website to learn more to see what ladders come with an Accessory port!

I think the ladders in the commercial must be light because it's quite heavy I got an 4 rung one and it's a bit heavy to move about day to day but seems sturdy
What ladder do you have? The classic or the Xtreme? Those ones are definitely on the heavier side. If you need something more light, we have other options! I have the xtreme leveller m17. It's ok, I've gotten used to it for now but the ladder is excellent and very strong. But when driving the leveller springs do make a lot of rattle but that's something ill have to get used to while taking it. But it's a beautiful ladder
@@springhy Totally "hear" you on the springs! If you have the room you could try pulling the ratchet legs out while you travel, and the extra tension on the springs could reduce the noise they make.

We actually do have a solution, but it doesn't work with the Xtreme. We do have an accessory for our extension ladders called the Claw with Limited Fall Arrest System. I bought the Little Giant Extreme 22ft and all the accessories, took it out of the box hung it on the wall...didn't use it until months later when I went to clean out the gutters...I was extremely heavy and difficult to open, the extensions were hard to slide. When I called Little Giant they said my time had lapsed so I am stuck with this 5-600 dollar piece of trash

My friend has one of them and that fucking thing is heavy as hell and the freaking knobs get stuck all the time and the ladder does not sly as easy as shown on TV it's okay but it's a pain in the ass to get it to your desire position 👎🏼
Definitely want to find the right ladder for each person. The Model 17 Xtreme is 40 pounds, which is quite a bit for an articulating ladder. But the reason it's the Xtreme is because it has everything on it. The airdeck ports, the ratchet levelers, etc. That is pretty heavy for the average ladder user. That being said, if you check out the Leveler M17 which has the ratchet levelers, is 35 pounds. And then you have the Velocity which is just an articulating ladder without airdeck ports or ratchet levelers, which weighs 32 pounds.
I don't think it's possible for your infomercial to be more offensive to women. All the little subtleties make the whole thing atrocious and abhorrent. I don't care how good your product is, we will never own one and I will be passing this on to everyone I know so that they know about your degrading thoughts on women.
