Hello Mike, can you reverse the scale reader on the scale? turn it around so the cable is coming out the other end of the scale? or can it only go inside the scale one way? I am fitting my DRO to my lathe and all of my gib screws are on the right side of the cross slide, so I have decided to put the DRO on the chuck side and I will make a few extra covers for protection of the scale and reader. It is a JENIX DRO. Can you enlighten me please, cheers. Wylie
Hi Wylie The reader on my scales can only fit in one direction. However the scale can be mounted with either side against the cross slide. You can mount on either side of the cross slide with the cable facing away from user. I hope this makes sense to you. Cheers Mike
