One thing that comes to mind, Steve Kerr doing the Florida game made a comment about UC having a huge advantage over MS because of the venue(MSG) he didn't mention (because he probably didn't know) that MS beat UConn in the 2009 at Ford Stadium in Michigan .
I remember this game like it was yesterday and I told my brother in law if we win this game we are winning it all. I knew we werent going to be denied after this game.
Love coming back to watch these old classic UConn wins, but can't help feeling extremely sad about Adrian Payne. From everything I've ever heard about that him, he was a genuinely good man, who was murdered for trying to help another person. I hope Lawrence Dority gets life.
Bazz turned into a completely different guard after playing a year with Kemba. Started throwing his body into defenders and getting to the line more, made all the difference in this run but this game particularly.
Uconn won cause they out hustled them,and there defense Michigan st could not get good shot and the huskies only missed one free throw. That is how you win games. It is a team game people forget that. Uconn beat Michigan st same team in Maui in 2012-13 preseason tournament. No doubt the huskies are a better team.

The Garden is a very familiar territory for the (former) Big East teams

John Baldino I was at both games. That game in Detroit breaks my heart. If we had Dyson we win that game and give UNC a run 2 days later.
