Never really noticed this until now... But you gotta love Kevin Ollie at 16:55. Notice how he tells Daniels to leave Boatright alone. And before Boatright even shoots, Ollie is already clapping and knows Boatright's gonna make the shot.
I will never understand why Florida walked away from the last 25 seconds of that game. I'm a UConn fan, so it was a nice surprise, but it was a 10 pt. lead. I know most people say 'it's over' and the odds are that that's true ... but it is possible to go for quick steals & make the ahead-team hit a few foul shots. Get the lead down to 6 and then see what happens. Seems as though UConn really did beat them from a spirit standpoint.
Unfortunately now that I live in Atlanta I got the whole University of Florida telecast...lol. Just painful to watch!!! But we won and that is all that really matters at the end. Love this telecast much more...
They have been to final four 5 times. In 1999 they won championship,2-0. In 2004 they won championship making them 4-0 lifetime. In 2009 they made it to final four but lost in national semifinal to Michigan ST making them 4-1 lifetime. In 2011 kemba walker led them to a national championship making them 6-1 lifetime. In 2014 they won it all making them 8-1 lifetime in final four.
One of the great wins in program history. This was a win for the past, the present, and the future.
Great post! Always worth another re-visit... Part of me still does not believe it.
I love these Uconn video..keep them coming. Go UCONN!!!

why the score show them as huskies
19:08 what he saying
7-1 all time record in Final 4? UCONN is 4-0 in title games, so idk how that is possible.
Who said 7-1? It's 8-1
+seanceltics15 I'm saying they have never lost in a title game, and they've won 4 titles. The math doesn't add up.
+Jagnole101 and I'm saying that their final 4 record is 8-1
Jagnole101 because national championships count as final four games
RIP: "I'll be back." still ain't back yet. He might have even retired I don't know.
