    You're right, it's definitely part of racing. I prefer working with wood for all the reasons you mentioned. Great tips about working with carbon fiber. I hope the repairs go as planned and lead you to even more upgrades on the boat and the ongoing notes on how you'll do things differently on the next build. It's been fun watching your journey on the scale boat. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey,
    I just finished building a 10th scale hydro and am running the tenshock motor and castle esc. Just out of curiosity, where are you setting up your CG. At the moment im limited to room and i am about 70mm behind the turn fin.

      Same thing what I was faced when trying to get the COG just right. I added weight in this Sponson to get it moved up further I would have to get back to you on exact measurement. However, I want to say I’m just over an inch behind the Sponson. Just slightly back from center of turn fin.
