the tires are still going. the car is at 350k (so roughly 150km on the tires and mostly hwy) they are at around 20% tread left, will be changing them soon and preobably picking up another set!
@@potaylo appreciate the feedback! the tires are on their 3rd winter and it will definitely be their last. ive noticed this year they have lost a bit of traction, albiet they are at 20% tread left
I have had these for almost a year on my 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk in 225/65/17. I've used them in all conditions and they've been great. Around town, on the highway, offroad, and in the snow and ice. Edit: It's probably been about 8 months.
I ran these on my 2019 Chevrolet Blazer AWD, and when I was road tripping from washington dc to austin texas. I picked up nearly 30 nails in 4 of my tires in Louisiana, and took it all the way 700 miles at 80MPH to Austin. I parked overnight and only lost 7lbs of air in the front left tire. There were 14 nails in it, and these tires are so safe, comfortable and durable.

I use these on a mitsu outlander and find them to be the best for a mix of highway, off-road and snowy conditions. Geolanders wore and hardened too fast.
I have an outlander sport I am getting ready to put these on. I don't do a ton of off roading, but do have a horse boarded up a pretty good ridge that is definitely off pavement- dirt, gravel and leaves and even though I have 4WD, the regular tires I have just don't really cut it in that hill. Hopefully they work well for me.
I put these on my 2017 JC Latitude in 2020. Just replaced them with a new full set last week. About 50-55K on them. Fantastic in the snow, rain, and drove them on the OBX beach.
I ended up got right through winter with these. The treads a little lower and the traction started to lose its grip a bit but they still held up great. Tread life now at 35-40%
I use these year round. 99.9% road driving and they have been great for me. My stock tires on my crosstrek only lasted 25k miles. So far put 15k on these and they are still in great shape.
I am looking at these for my Toyota Rav4.. I am glad to see you get good service from them. Did you get 150,000km on them..? Am I reading that one comment correctly? Grip good?
I used to have a rav4(totaled during xmas, rear ended) I had my wildpeaks at trails for over 4 years ( 60 to 65k miles ). Excellent tires, you will feel the difference once you have them on your rav4. They did well in the rain, and they did well during the snow season. A lot of hwy miles and some country roads. Get the. You won't regret it. I just purchased a set for my new truck(wildpeak at4w) and got one set for my subaru outback (wildpeak at trail)
@arturosanji I had them installed thanks. Tested them in a bit of rain same day. They do good and look good pn the Rav4 as well. The road noise is obviously a bit more and we noticed that immediately as the previous tures were very quiet. But for the little driving the RAV4 has done over 8 years only 60,000km I think it is not such a big issue.
im in ontario and i just had 4 falken aklimates installed. i dont drive the vehicle enough to buy winter tires so im gonna see how these do. i suspect hot ontario summers might take a toll.
Love the review! Based on it (and couple more), I just got these tires (235/60R18) for my 2009 Volvo XC90. I was wondering, what pressure do you run them at for what scenario (generally, compared to the OEM recommendations for your vehicle)?
Good tires but quite scary driving on snow covered 400 series hwy. Car tends to wobble or wander. It doesn't want to track straight line on snowy hwy. It does fine on deep snow city driving tho. Have driven on various AT, AW, AS and winter tires and I find dedicated winter tires with straight ring groove is the way to go for winter hwy driving condition.
Nice review. Glad I watched it. I just bought these for my wife's Venza (20 inch). Glad you don't have any complaints. I wanted an all weather tire and my tire retailer (a good friend of mine) suggested these. I live in Edmonton Alberta so snow and ice traction / safety is high priority.
Helpful. I have those as OEM on a Toyota rav TRD can’t say I’m happy, the wet and snow wasn’t impressed. As mine have worn they’re louder. I’m going to go w the tried and tr true Yokohama Geolander. The Nitos are cool but they’re pricey and I’m on the states.
Had Geolander G015 on a previous 2018 2.5i They were poor in wet weather and sketchy dangerous as they aged. Wouldn't buy them again. Did last long and no punctures or issues, just not confidence inspiring.
Honestly i have yokohama avid ascend gt tires on my subaru legacy and have yet to get stuck in snow and i get great mileage, they have good comfort. My car does not even have 6in of ground clearance and i had no issues getting through that depth. I even got through a section of anow that a honda pilot couldnt get through. Was about 8in, i had to plow it with my car
Dan, The tires are in perfect condition. Why would you "switch them out for a new tire", unless you need something to talk about on RUclips. They will not be ruined in four months. I know this was posted a year ago, but come on. Plus your Subaru is AWD. You are in better shape with that setup than 99% of people on the roads.
you are completely right. Still have the tires on, car is at 350k and tires are 150k. still about 20% tread life, theyve lasted a lot longer than I thought.
Replace those ASAP. As a professional driver for 27 years, I have seen many tires like those causing accidents and breakdowns because of cracks like these. Be safe.
@R3DB3ARD92 Dummy, I have been driving with Comercial and Race driver license since 1993. I have about 2.3 million miles as a driver under my belt. So, kiddo, I suggest you sit down and do not talk when grown-up people are talking.
How the Falken Wildpeaks going now?
