The Pirates goal is to be a bottom 5 in payroll team. Thats it. No other team cares less about winning and no other city is stuck with a guy who vows to NEVER let his family sell. In relation to William Clay Ford, I 100% agree, and then after he died Martha Firestone Ford really didn’t do anything to make it better. So historically this is accurate, but Sheila Ford Hamp took over in June of last year. It’s too early to tell for sure, but she seems like she genuinely wants the team to succeed. I could be wrong, but this is the first legitimate new person running the show since the Fords bought the team. In a years time, she for Patricia and Quinn (on Thanksgiving Day) and has placed people around her to help her in decisions she might be ignorant about. But this could also be a turning point. Let’s hope!
How about having some level of respect for people or things not relevant to your little world. I used to be a Washington fan and didn't want the name to change. @@gaggita9922 Don't go dictating to me as to who or what to respect, whether it's relevant to my "little world" or not. Like, Tony Khan is unquestionably passionate about professional wrestling and not only takes an active part in it but very clearly loves and does his best to listen to the fans. Along with the help of Cody and Dustin Rhodes, Chris Jericho, and many other legends, he is definitely a part of why it is already considered one of the biggest alternatives to WWE and pretty much the main place people think of when underutilized wrestlers leave WWE because they'll actually get used there. Add him being the Forbidden Door and completely unafraid to do crossovers with ROH, Impact, NJPW, AAA, and been ready and willing to work with WWE if/when they see the advantage to cross promoting, he and AEW really might be the future of professional wrestling, while Shahid Khan really doesn't even seem to pay attention to NFL, nor care about making the Jags have the success to even be a future playoff contender.
The Seattle Mariners have 2 claims to infamy.
1. Collecting tallies for their postseason drought.
2. Being formerly owned by a giant video game company (that doesn't know to run a sports team).

How is the Dallas Cowboys not on this list?
Yeah they won 3 Super Bowls under Jerry Jones’ ownership. But his constant meddling since 1994 destroyed what could have been the greatest dynasty of all time.
Jerry Jones does NOT care about Cowboys fans. Under Jerry Jones, the Cowboys have suffered a 27-year Super Bowl drought and have done nothing to bring back a dynasty, no matter how good their quarterbacks are.
How do you not include the Rockies!?
Great video. My Giants haven't been good in awhile but I've never heard anyone say they're a bad organization. Ill take that as a win. Thank you Wellington and John Mara. Videos like this make me appreciate them so much more

I stopped watching the Pirates because of the ownership. It's so sad
The list should ONLY consist of the Pittsburgh Pirates. No other team in sports actually considers it a fuck up when the team gets good. They actually hurried up and give away every player of value INCLUDING a well stocked minor leagues after tricking the taxpayers into building a stadium. The Pirates goal is to be a bottom 5 in payroll team. Thats it. No other team cares less about winning and no other city is stuck with a guy who vows to NEVER let his family sell. Oh and an added bonus, the Pirates are the reason other sports teams can't win a vote for publicly funding a stadium and move. Bob Nutting says you're welcome SD, Oakland, St. Louis, Seattle etc....

But they definitely belong on this list.💯
In relation to William Clay Ford, I 100% agree, and then after he died Martha Firestone Ford really didn’t do anything to make it better. So historically this is accurate, but Sheila Ford Hamp took over in June of last year. It’s too early to tell for sure, but she seems like she genuinely wants the team to succeed. I could be wrong, but this is the first legitimate new person running the show since the Fords bought the team. In a years time, she for Patricia and Quinn (on Thanksgiving Day) and has placed people around her to help her in decisions she might be ignorant about. (Chris Spielman) She has been very active with the team so far in both the draft room and even being on the field for OTAs. Like I said, could be same old same old. But this could also be a turning point. Let’s hope!
Ford is a ford is a ford... they need to sell ... and fire damn rod wood
ADD the Cleveland Indians. Owner won't spend a dime. Just an average offense would be a WS contender every year.
I was waiting for them to be on the list the whole video. Never keep the talent they have. Just trade them or let them go in free agency...

Hey, TPS, how about leaving politics out of your videos? "Selfishly refusing to drop the old team name", seriously?
How about having some level of respect for people or things not relevant to your little world.
I used to be a Washington fan and didn't want the name to change.
Then in 2015 I finally understood why it should be changed so I stopped rooting for them.
Yes there are more important issues for the native American community but this was easy one to fix.
Btw, sports and politics have ALWAYS been one in the same. Always.
@@gaggita9922 Don't go dictating to me as to who or what to respect, whether it's relevant to my "little world" or not. And regardless of how involved politics have been in sports, you used to be able to watch and follow sports without necessarily hearing about anything political (so much for THOSE days) unless you looked hard enough or happened to be paying attention. Sports is supposed to be one of those refuges to escape from everyday life and it's sadly become less and less so. And, whatever, whoever you want to root for and why are your business, whether anyone else agrees with it or not. Same goes for opinions.
@@gaggita9922 Yes, Redskins was definitely a slur used against Native Americans. It was their "N" word. Teams that honor Native Americans with their name is debatable (Chiefs, Seminoles, Braves, etc.), but at least there is an argument that they are respecting those they're named after. "Redskins" was and is a racist slur. It's never been anything else.
@@semperfiarcher it's like the team owner tried horribly to take back a word that can't be taken back. Certainly not by some snobby rich jerk that had to pay native Americans to pretend it's alright.

Some owners spend money, but still think they can run a team. They can't stay out of the way. Which is a death blow to a franchise's success. And in the end the fans suffer the most. And the owners don't care. Their ego getting stroked is way more important than any fans.
The Cincinnati Reds deserve to be on this list. They have 8 winning seasons since they last won the World Series in 1990. They usually struggle to be even be mediocre.
It could be worse, you could be a Pirate fan. Last World Series appearance 1979. Probably not many more winning seasons than your 8 since then. That’s a long time ago. Disco was popular. Jimmy Carter was President. Cars had carburetors on them still. CDs weren’t even invested yet. Long time ago.

Stu Sternberg is the worst owner of a good team making the Rays and their fanbase suffer. I wish he'd sell the team since it's obvious he hasn't wanted the Rays in Tampa Bay for over a decade now.
Also, as per Knicks - "Free Charles Oakley!:"
That's mostly the reason a lot of sports franchises do not either have enough funds or simply stingy & also don't what they're doing by not hiring the personal, to get-em the horses to get them through the finish lines.
