The company that made your Landrover was called Morris and Stone hence Morestone. They made the AA Landrover I believe in three sizes one smaller and one larger than yours. They also made a series of Matchbox 1/75 size vehicles in a series known as the ESSO Series. I think they changed their name to Budgie Toys round about 1959 and after another change of ownership went out of business I believe in 1966.Enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing some of the restorations when done.
Nice! I have both of these racers in a box, to do, but I might do different colours - not decided yet: bit of Googling and Wiki-ing to do to see if I can get some wobbler colour schemes for them! The Golden Shred van is a corker and the Ford Classic will be nice. I just did a Somerset and it was a pleasure though I was not brave enough to do a two-tone! The Morestone Land Rover is not particularly accurate for a Series 1 - the wheel-arches could do with opening up a bit and it is too wide, plus the front axle is too far forward, but it's an interesting model. I remeber the Bentley from the original toybox when I was a kid. Some of these Astons, the earlier ones with the flat wheels, came with a spoked-wheel sticker set, but the weird Land Rover hubs will look nice. Good old haul, there! Congratulations.
