Over here in Ireland the police do checkpoints with random drug and alcohol tests, if you test positive for cannabis you're arrested and that's it. Regardless of whether or not you consumed it a week ago and are totally sober.

That is the problem, the cars are driving directly on the white lines, instead of staying in their lanes or on their side of the road

Look at the statics mate over 90% of drug driving cases fhe drivers aren’t impaired. The thc stays in the blood stream for up to 16 weeks. Vast majority are getting tested days even weeks after smoking cannabis.
