Need to get Niklas and Linus on the pro tour.
Hopefully this thing called "covid 19" ends
@abcd yeah niklas and linus would crush them ;P
@abcd are you dumb? like serious question. They are players far worse than the European elite that are successful on tour. Top level play is top level play no matter what side of the pond your on.
@abcd lmao 16 down on this course what American has done that. Not Mcbeth.
@@ero9685 didnt eagle mcmahon shoot -16?
I find Jussi extremely PROFESSIONAL to not use this commentating position as an opportunity to promote Discmania. Not following up on the commercials, the consummate gentleman.
Good point. I was rather surprised even Simon often says just "very stable disk" or "slow fairway" instead of the name of his disc.
When you are last on the card, that StarFrame Shake has to be soul crushing... You have my sympathy, Simon. Coverage is great.
Wow Linus was so impressive! Perfect drives most of the time and insane putts and scrambles the few times he needed them. Niklas had a pretty great round as well even with some troubles. Can't wait for the final round!
Niklas 🇫🇮👍💪🏽

Disc golf is like life, in that, it's not getting what we want, but doing the best with what we are given.
Extremely impressive round from Linus Carlsson! Consistently fantastic throws.
16 down, wow, on the most beautiful course in the world!
Thanks for the excellent coverage!
How does Simon not know what Niklas throws - he’s discmania too :)
Really good commentary and really nice to see some european coverage!
Amazing performance from Linus! 🇸🇪
Linus gör något helt rätt här alltså. Helt sjukt!!
One day we have hopefully new event in Olympic
You don't need a good round to feel happy Simon, you need to feel happy to play a good round.
Best angelcontrol and desision making I have seen from you, but unfortunately also the worst mood and so negative lately😢
Awesome to see European players for once! And with Linus GREAT round. Also cred to Berg, go 🇸🇪 🇸🇪 🇸🇪
Niklas 🇫🇮🔥
Great coverage! But no chain jingle on hole 11 is going to haunt those guys.
I'm excited to see that Linus has now signed with Latitude 64! Hoping to see some of these guys come and compete with the Americans!
Damn that niklas's birdie save was insane 🤤😳
Wow, vilken runda med nytt banrekord Carlsson. Vilket genombrott. Utmana om seger sista dagen
Greetings from Finland!
Come oon Nikke ❤️🔥
Wow, way impressive Linus! Insanely good!
Ta nu hem det Linus!
OjojOJ LINUS såja!!!! 🇸🇪🇸🇪
Good Niklas you are the Best in the Europe player.... YES , YES :-)
A casual -16 from Carlsson for a new course record, if I'm not mistaken :)
simon and eagle have same, -16, commentator saying it at 16:45 kind of, but they say in end new course record because of new layout
@@Theaddekalk But wasn't a par 5 turned into a par 4 from their previous rounds, thus meaning this -16 is actually 1 stroke better ?
@@unjourdef2 basket was moved a lot closer and par changed to 4. So its same score
@@unjourdef2 yes thats what i heard right now so yes better XD
@@eedetzz5520 hole 11s basket was moved some 30-40 meter closer this year and changed from par 5 to 4, basically if you were on the green for birdie this year then you could have jump putted 30-40 meter to a tap in birdie that year. So Linus -16 is more impressive this year than Eagle/Simons -16 that year.
I want to see Linus compete against Eagle
C'mon Simon! Snap out of it! You can do it! 🧐
I love the shot at 19:55. I would love if you would also have shown Linus throwing from the catch cam angle.
One thing I have been wondering about in dg coverage is if you show a shot twice, but from different angles. Jackie Chan does this to improve impact the audience feels (/Z1PCtIaM_GQ?t=350), so even though it will break the continuity of the shot, it will still work. Maybe if it is used for shots that you want to have much impact, such as very good shots or important ones.
Finland is the best frisbeegolf country in Europe!
Maybe the best in the world?
Ever heard of the United States?
I'd say the American '1050 boys,' (their highest-ever player ratings) would have shredded this course. But until we get all the top players in one tournament, it's just opinion.
I was kinda expecting more Finnish guys at the top, but let's face it. We have no Paul, Eagle, James, Ricky or KJ here, so there's still some development to be had. But in the FPO side, we have two of the top 5 ladies right now 🔥
nice with finally two swedes on the lead, were taking the stage XD

@@Theaddekalk Let's ask the dude if he wants the course record, or the championship.
Did you cover the final?
When is round 4 coming up?
The commenting on Linus is ridiculous. He is 8 down through 10 and you say its nothing special. In the front 9 you guys also comment how he isn't doing anything spectacular. Then he shoots course record. Pretty sure -16 is spectacular 👌
Hey! No jingles on hole 11 folks..go back..redo
Simon! WTH!
🇫🇮
Simon.
dammm Finland came to play off key Simon fly out earlier so you can get acclimated learned that from a workds strongest man athlete named Oberst but hes right you gotta fly out a couple days ahead of the tournament just saying
Terrific coverage on a beautiful course. I notice how the European gallery isn't as obese as those in the U.S.
Maybe they are s even more obese they can’t fit in the car.
🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Can someone explain to me why not the best finnish and swedish guys plays in America? No question their quality is high enough to compete at highest level there. I mean they have Lizottte, trailing by 8-9 shots! Take them to the highest level where they belong! And also, stop those "this is a must get birdie" when the hole is a Par 3 and 120 meters long.
It's been difficult times to plan touring on other continent because of COVID. Long quarantines can really mess up schedules. I'm sure they will be attending events also in the US once the pandemic is over, or at least managed more predictable way. Also, these young players have other obligations they need to finish before they can fully concentrate on their pro DG careers. Niklas just finished his military service before this season. Lauri Lehtinen, another Finnish promising young star, is preparing to finish his high school exams and couldn't attend this years EDGC ... I can't wait to see them compete among the other top players in the world! Hopefully next season
They are not in america because there is thing called covid-19 been last 2 years..
@@frogleen6025 Thanks Jukka! Ok Frogleen i dont get that answer? We have a lot a sports where nordic atlethes have competed in USA in last 2 years. I think its a money issue, and the world of discgolf need to step forward to make all the best players compete in America. Not only the american players + Lizotte..
@@slangen808 Most players dont make enough to play fulltime and most europeans live in Europe. Simon is the only european mpo player that lives in the states. Hes the only one that plays like all tournaments. Seppo Paju played a lot of tournaments in 2019 and youll see europeans play a bunch of tournaments on a normal year. Just not all tournaments
Linus played 3 tournaments in the US in 2019 and didnt do well in any of them. Hes still young and we might see him more in the future.
@@slangen808 It's the same answer to the question why nearly no American players have played in Europe since COVID-19 started...
Whats with the dude on the tramp in the beginning lol?
I am not an expert but having to play four rounds and then get roasted by your boss publicly after each of them probably isn't the best strategy for results in the tournament.
I'm new to the scene can you explain this?

I had the exact same thought. Jussi comes across as a bit rude at times. It might be the fact that he is Finnish and don't have the best English.
Yes, Jussi was definitely roasting Simon a little bit here and there. My new favorite disc golf term is the German turkey 😅
If lizotte is seeing this comment, i think it is method
Simon's mental game has come a long way from the first few times I saw him. But I still think it's the worst part of his game.

Basically the commentary has been very basic. Meresmaa is basically just repeating himself. Also his english is basically not too good = basic.
Your english is not great either ;)
@Taka Turku enough basics?
You should stop repeating yourself first and then come back to cry
Basically it may be a tad difficult to not repeat a bit with playing the same course 4x and same story sequence with sad Simon.
