  • @audiethacker907

By and large, I enjoyed the commentary.
The clips with the course designers about the course itself could be good, but they also felt like interruptions to the play, and were repetitive. There may be better ways of handling those kinds of things. Maybe, for example, have another video for the build-up to the tourney, a bit of a walk-through of the course with the clips of the designer giving his thoughts and insights. I think something like that was done at a big tournament a few weeks ago.
This may be directed more towards the people running the tourney than the commentators, but I hope a way of better marking the OBs can be found. Some kind of grass paint, maybe, or chalk? Even if they want to keep the strings and markers as the "official" OB lines, chalk would help the viewers and maybe even the players see the OBs better. Or maybe hay bales, hay bales everywhere.
I'd also like to see a rundown of the scores, at least of the top 10, some time during the front 9, maybe at the end. Even it takes a bit longer to get the video posted, it would still be nice to have that.
Overall, enjoyed the tournament and the videos. Even glad to see the tourney won, not in a birdie-palooza, but in a workman-like and solid way, and nice to see Conrad win.

Very good coverage. Ken Climo is a disc golf genius and able to succinctly express the clearest points. He is A+. The rest of the coverage is A-. if somehow Ken could be added to the A+ work of Jomez, that would be ideal. I think i would like to see Ken and Jamie do Jomez Live, and still have BigSexy do the Jomez edited videos. We in the disc golf community are blessed to have at least a half dozen top talented channels too. Disc Golf Guy. CCDG. and a few others. In the future it would be amazing if each one of these 6 or 7 talented and hard working channels could have a group... or maybe combine some of them to cover the first 4 or 5 groups. and then we would need a control room to toggle back and forth among them. I am not complaining, just dreaming about the future. If you haven't watched the Jomez version of this final round, do it. it is a work of art.

I mentioned they might do a post about what shots it takes to make an 1100 or even 1000 rated round, what are the standards for such a round, and posted on about seven different videos. They deleted EVERY SINGLE ONE. Back to Nazi tactics and censorship I guess, instead of trying to push disc golf like they say, when they ask you for money. Make it accessible to everyone, they say.

How do you not mention Clemons and Locastro charging on chase card and the situation going into hole 17??? I hope Innova wakes up and smells the coffee that Jomez needs to be doing lead card for entertainment purposes. If you can’t update us on what chase card is doing while following lead card (when the only competition for Conrad is chase card), then you shouldn’t be commentating lead cards......
How do you not mention that Clemons and Nikko had the chance to win on 17 and 18 but choked? Sigh......

This is it, the Final. Thank you so much Spin TV for the excellent coverage. Thank you Jamie and The Champ for the enjoyable commentary. 👍

"The question is what is the chase card doing?" Why is that a question? Coverage would be way better if they could just tell us what scores the chase card has while covering the lead. Do they not have Udisc?

+1 // I was thinking the same thing. Especially with the spoiler on 18 tee.

Not a good course IMO. All gimmicks. Little natural barriers or beauty.

Great that a 249 ft. hole can almost change the whole tourney.

Great coverage Jamie. I really enjoyed the insights from the champ. Only thing I'd like to see is updates of chase card scores down the stretch for greater context. But again, really professional and fun coverage.

The celebration at 40:53 is simply legendary. First the bazooka, then the arrow, and now this!? Can't wait to see what's next...

Happy for Conrad winning, been waiting on that guy getting a huge win for a while now. The commentary....guys....use a little excitement or emotion. I had to mute it and put on music.
