Ex-Toivonen Lancia Delta S4 driven by Romain Grosjean || Montée des Légendes 2018

- Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean was one of the stars of Montée des Légendes, driving the Group B model from Lancia, the TwinCharged Lancia Delta S4. Even more special is the fact that the car he drove was a official Lancia Rally team unit, raced by Rallying Legend Henri Toivonen.
Now owned by Bruno Ianniello, this machine is a pretty much an "historic monument" given its curriculum. Once driven by an Icon of the Rallying World, now owned by an a Legend of HillClimb racing and driven by the Haas Team Formula 1 driver. Quite the combo we would say. That it is a "bona fide" 600Hp, turbocharged, supercharged, Group B Monster just adds up to the awesomeness.

This isn't an EX-Toivonen S4. The chassis number of this car is #088. It's a converted Stradale. The chassis numbers of rally S4s starts from #201 and ends at #229
tail lights give it away. Ex- stradale and thumbs down for deceiving title.

this one was an Abarth project. lancia only provided badge, door handle and the windshield from the original Delta

Sono d'accordo. Però c'è da vedere il passaporto tecnico di questa. I compianti Tovoinen-Cresto trà l'85 e 86 avranno sicuramente usato qualche esemplare, a rotazione nel team Martini

Sono d'accordo con te; intendevo quella macchina in particolare, poi, basti pensare che Volta, colui che ha partecipato alla messa a punto della S4, ha acquistato tutto il materiale Lancia rimasto dopo l'abbandono del reparto corse alle competizioni. Quindi tutt'e le S4 replica sono telai e motori forniti da Peppe
Il proprietario di questa S4 si chiama Bruno Ianniello, un bravissimo pilota Italiano di origine ma residente in Svizzera il quale mi risulta possessore di ben 7 S4. La vettura è una stradale convertita con maggiorazione di cilindrata eseguita dal possessore .
