So many people are replicating costumes and props from pop culture that, it is refreshing to see you focus on bringing the settings to life. This is such an epic form of fan art! Scenic design, background art and level design deserve more love and appreciation. Take care!

Great old used armchair. Maybe you're not so good at making brand new furniture, but this piece is awesome! I thought this thing is from some shop until you started making it.
And what a wall, I absolutely love it! All this layers of paint so complicated, and all together looks like some painting, not just ordinary diorama wall. If you put it in frame and tell that it is contemporary art no one guess you're joking :)

The details came out absolutely perfect on this build!! I am way jealous of your 3D sculpting abilities as the boot is my favorite part I think! And the plant growing out of it was the icing on the cake🎂 Really I love all of it but its details like those that always catch my eye!

On the heels of your last video regarding burnout, this seems like a project that was straightforward, quick, and satisfying - put in the work but don't overdo it. I'll be filing the low-pressure airbrush trick in the toolbox. Beautiful build, and beautiful final shots. The dappled light was superb.

I really like the look of the wall @ 1:00. Thank you for sharing your work. It only gets better from here on in . . . although, burnout (as you mentioned) can change that. Been there a few times over my career. I took a five year break once when I was burned out so bad. It does get better though after you heal. ;-) Cheers ~ Boomer.

Have you tried, photogrammetry or photoscanning? I think that boot would of been an awesome subject to scan, touch up in Zbrush and 3D print.

Thanks! I do. I use a rhino arc ii motorized rig and it’s been great. Not a cheap entry level slider though, there are definitely a lot of other options out there.
@@AbandonedMiniatures I actually watched your set up video afterwards and saw you use a slider. I have been experimenting using a Ronin gimble but each approach has it strengths and limitations. Keep inspiring!!
@@creativecuts7803 nice! I have a ronin as well for other video work, it can be more difficult to use for filming miniatures up close, but you can definitely get some cool shots with it!

What grass and greenery are you using?
Since it's mostly for the miniatures modelling hobby, so much of the available foliage is scaled to 1:24 or smaller. I've had a hard time finding anything I like that works for 1:10th scale or above.
It’s just regular static grass. This piece was in 1:18 scale
I think the chair turned out great. Good choice for the fabric. And your kitty cat! What is his/her name? :)
