  • There were clashes between police and demonstrators in the Armenian capital of Yerevan this week, as thousands protested the government's handling of the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis.
    Azerbaijan said it had restored its sovereignty over the territory, after a deadly 24-hour military offensive.
    It has led to Armenia being accused of failing to protect ethnic Armenians in the contested territory.
    Protesters are calling for Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to quit.

    They are not Armenian separatists!! Armenian history predates all Christianity by centuries.. they have been conquered, massacred re born, conquered again and again losing territory , population etc etc. They have been so decimated by war (usually losing) that their country is now a fraction of what it was. karabakh has Armenian churches dating 2000 years… yet the West says Karabakh is Azerbaijan which was only formed in 1918? Winning wars doesn’t make the winner right… just look at what the West did to Iraq and Libya . Anyway.. doesn’t matter, it’s over…the 120,000 Armenians will leave Karabakh now and those Armenian churches can be turned into Azerbaijan mosques that the winners will claim were there for centuries. Winners always write the history books.

      The same man who said Armenia should withdraw from internationally recognised Azerbaijan just so he could invade and attempt to annex territory in Ukraine and thought the Armenians wouldn't notice this hypocrisy. Russia was playing Armenia by trying to persuade them to finalise the situation at another time which was stringing them along. Russia has always recognised N-K as Azerbaijan and then condemns Armenia when it does the same . Armenians trying to leave Artsakh/Karabakh might flee not only to Armenia, but also France, Greece, Britain, Argentina, the US i.e. Massachusetts and California in particular, Australia, and elsewhere thus triggering a refugee crisis never seen since early 2022 when many Ukrainians fled their country en masse after Russia treacherously invaded.

    Pashinyan is not to be blamed for the situation. He has done great things to the country since his election. He improved the tenets of the civil society and managed to eradicate a lot of corruption. The military was very hard-headed, and they refused to cooperate and see that they were not match to the Azeri army's strength. Armenian government tried to negotiate giving up the lands, to save its army the humiliation, but without any good. It is unfortunate that an entire people have to be under occupation now, and possibly undergo slow and painful ethnic cleansing, by another people who they have deep enmity with. Ethinic Armenians need to be relocated into mainland Armenia, otherwise the Azeri government will take them revenge against them and this will also weaken the Armenian government and the people.

    • @ziziqar
      @ziziqar 11 месяцев назад

      It won't be slow and painful -- it'll be quick and with enough trauma to last centuries. Aliyev has shown he has no patience to show humanity. As we speak, they're gathering up boys and men above 14 most likely dor execution or jails where they have a tradition on vehement torture, and there are reports of children being decalitated in front of mothers. They'll use non-transparency by calling it "internal matter" and "no one need intervene" to commit the darkest crimes against humanity. Azerbaijan needs to be bombed and these people freed right now. But Aliyev has also counted on Armenians having no friends and no one caring to take action to get to this.

    • @ziziqar
      @ziziqar 11 месяцев назад

      @@jj-gz9xd nobody is innocent as lambs, and we don't claim that unlike you. However, the Azerbaijani society has been fed hatred day in and day out in the last 30 years, instead of seeing the war in 90's as a horrible thing where both sides got hurt, they see it as a one-way victimization street and see Armenians as sub-himan. Aliyev needed to do this to successfully start two more wars and have his society not only follow him but for the soldiers to commit incredibly heinous crimes against humanity.

    • @GregorSamsa000
      @GregorSamsa000 11 месяцев назад

      @@jj-gz9xd meaning that they will be victimized. It is not about innocence. These two parties have been involved in a bloody conflict for ages and they are each other's enemies for a long period of time and have been at each other's throats. The only thing that allowed them to come together somehow is the soviet union, and the soviet union does not exist anymore to put them in their place. The Armenians mistreated the turkic people and so did the turkic people when they had the chance. Remember that Azerbaijan is an extension of the turks, so they are also seen responsible for the events that led to the armenian tragedies of the early twentieth century. The westerners only acknowldge nagorno-karabakh as Azeri land because they want to promote their idea of a nation-state bound by clearly drawn borders, an idea that is very recent compared to the histories of all these nations. Armenia used to occupy a land indeed, but now Azerbaijan will occupy a people, which is a real tragedy. Nachshivan is considered Azeri territory even though one third of its population is Armenian. From a geopolitical perspective, it makes more sense that it belongs to Armenia, so why does not Armenia annex it? Besides, modern-day Azerbaijan is becoming more a reflection of turkish culture, which is very anti-armenian. Erdogan said "2 Devlet, 1 MIllet", meaning "2 countries, 1 nation". I don't see things getting better in this region. This is the price they have to pay for them being part of the soviet union anymore.

    But we have to discuss the past
    British brutality against Africans 🤔
    How African Slavery Civilized Britain
    Over the course of three centuries, Britain became the largest slaving nation in the world and the slave trade grew to become Britain’s largest and most profitable industry. Britain generated an estimated equivalent of four trillion pounds on the unpaid labour of slaves.
    Britain owes its very existence as a first world nation to the African slave trade. Great Britain’s economic way of life was formed by slavery: about it revolved, and on it depended, most of Britain’s other industries.
