    Hello,
    I’m Darren!
I had a Motor Tic for 20 years of my life.
I felt the embarrassment, anxiety, frustration, lack of control, helplessness, tiredness, and people looking at me like I’m weird and so forth! It was a living hell for too long.
    Fortunately, I’m now healed.
I’ve used a range of tools, techniques and practices I share with you here on RUclips, my Website, Coaching and through my system of healing, the MTM Method.
It’s been an incredible journey, and if you resonate with my teachings I look forward to supporting you (or your child) move beyond this condition.

Thanks mate! I’d like to say I’ve already improved about 80% from just 2 months ago. Thankyou for all the work you do. I always wondered why some grow out of this condition and some stay. I believe we’re all able to grow from it and leave it behind.

I know I'm doing them. It's hard to describe the overwhelming feeling of needing to do it, I get physically uncomfortable if I don't do it. But it's always something I know I'm doing or about to do..I'll tell ya it's starting to affect me physically with neck and shoulder pain.

This overwhelming feeling is the feeling you start with. Notice it. Where is it. Watch it. Be with it. BREATH. Learn to be so so so so present with this uncomfortable feeling that the tic melts. It doesn’t happen over night. But this is where the magic happens. In learning to connect to the initial feeling and urge to move.

Dazz, I’ve always suffered from tics, but I was always able to suppress them in high-stake situations; like giving a presentation at work or meeting someone for the first time. However a year ago, I developed a tic like none before. An undefeatable beast. I can’t control it, and it intensifies when I consciously think about it in situations when I don’t want it to, it is so difficult to stop because it is already tied to a natural involuntary movement. It is Eye blinking. Any insights?

Dazz, I have one question. I am really confused when I read that tics are involuntary (done without will or conscious control) movements. I had conscious control over tics all the time... it's not that our body parts moving itself. I was doing it! I could stop it but this presensations" was being increased at that times. and that it was outburst of tics.

Hi Mari - sorry to delay my response to you here :) SO yes the initial movement feels like an urge. THEN, we can forcibly 'control' and stop that urge. However, we don't want to live our life fighting our own urge for decades, do we? SO, we must learn to heal the initial urge, irrelevant of our capacity to hold, control and fight ourselves to 'stop' ticking. I wasted so much energy and time focussing on trying to control my tics, instead of 'heal' my tics. These are 2 totally different approaches! :)
