Nice video dude ! Great score as well! I'll get my single length irons next week! I really look forward to trying this new concept, I hope this make my golf easier than it is now !!!
Thanks Eric! The single plane makes it easier for me to be consistent and know where the ball is going. But it’s not for everyone, that’s why I don’t teach it unless a student wants it. I teach my students to make the most of what’s comfortable for them while using single length clubs.
Thanks...I wasn’t downwind at that point, and 150 is typically about a stock PW for me, and the balls were giving me a little more distance than I’m used to. I think a few of the swing changes have added some yards, plus working out. But I was still starting my swing with my shoulders, which I noticed in editing. So there’s not as much lag either. If I actually started with my arms and created the lag, it’s possible that club now becomes 160. Which is crazy!
@@SimplifyYourSwing But you kind of do want to start your swing with the shoulder tilt in sync with your takeaway.....in my humble opinion. Perhaps it's different with Single Plane vs. Stack and Tilt, which I'm incorporating into my game at the moment.
I’ve got a few things to try...distance is far from my biggest problem, lol. But there weren’t any slices or hooks. So striking and not having the big miss aren’t happening with the way I was swinging yesterday. So it may stay, I just want try a few more things, as consistency is the goal. I shouldn’t have tried those other methods in the middle of the year. I’d be scratch by now, lol
@@SimplifyYourSwing haha! Right on! My issue is putting, short game, and I seem to always have that one hole where poor decisions cost me. I played last Saturday, went birdie, par, par, and then decided to play it safe on 4 and didn't pull driver and instead went three wood (dumb decision) and proceeded to hit that tee shot Out of Bounds! I should have gone big, or gone iron. I ended up shooting 41.
I caught that one...I grabbed mine about a month ago and been hanging on until I could get this filmed. My son and wife have played them but I wanted to try to keep them in the bag until time.
I was actually working with Kirk at this point and mentioned that to him. He said my swing position was an over the top from coming shallow, but I was still coming from the inside on the ball. In the end, the method was too hard on my body and I felt unathletic. That’s why I created my own system that allows the body to move naturally for each person and produce an easily repeatable and consistent swing. It’s called the Simplified Single Plane. Takes concepts of a traditional and a single plane to provide a better setup position while using ideas from two plane swing. I have quite a few students seeing great results in just a few weeks.
@@SimplifyYourSwing I’m with simplicity that’s why I play one length whatever works to get in the slot and make a repeatable swing with consistency.. keep It up I went from a 34 4 years ago now I’m down to a 9.8 not legit single digits yet but getting there

Thanks. Good luck and let me know if you need anything
love your tips. my slice is now gone and I'm hitting the ball straight more consistently but i do need to work on pitching / Chipping
Great to hear you’re going in the right direction! Keep up the good work.
Some nice playing. I'm not into the single plane swing bit I can see you have put effort in. Stay metal, Eric. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

I thought my phone switched to Lethal Weapon for a second there while you were about to hit! Haha
That’s great! Love it
Love the video makes me want to get back out on the course!
I’m hoping I have a few more rounds
@@SimplifyYourSwing I wanted at least one more but we have an inch of snow now. 🥶
154 with a wedge - impressive. Were you downwind.
That's like an 8 iron with my Sterlings for me.

The struggles of a golfer are real... 😔

I like your videos but you have a very unorthodox swing like Jim Furyk. That’s not something your gonna teach. Keep up the good work.
Seems like ur takeaway is very shallow so u gave no choice but over the top
