Lea Louise, another great quilt! Brilliant idea to cut the ends off the squares in the middle to reduce bulk and avoid them poking out! Awesome tip I had never thought of!
Good Tuesday morning to all! Please be safe this weekend during the storm🙏 Looks like the geese are on the move🌀 lol Lea, you are driving me crazy,I want to make your quilt designs🙃🙃
I hope your family is doing okay. I saw the tree on your house. I’m glad no one was hurt. I hope these long commercials before your video doesn’t hurt your channel. ❤
Thank you for the video and the tips on producing No Waste Flying geese Units. Maybe by making 1/2 the quilt blocks as you have with the dark chevron and the other half with the lighter chevron and alternating the potato chip rounds with light and dark ending on a light outer round you can use up all your cut flying geese units. Otherwise, I think it might be wiser to produce 1 Basic Flying Geese unit at a time.
Because “ you can’t make just one “. Taken from a Lay’s potato chips ad campaign/motto. Their potato chips are so delicious that you can’t just eat one, you keep eating!
Minute 1620. That's way Evelyn was yelling for you to stop! 😐. Yes, indeedy. This can happen. Thank you, Lea Louise, for this great pattern idea, tips and cheerfulness! This size block I am using to make 48 by 72 inch quilt tops for my local guild's charity donations. They supply the precut fabric, and I like to add from my own stash. Take care. Marion

I like your idea of trimming that corner before sewing, I would never have thought of that. A good reminder on how to make flying geese 😊

Beautiful quilt and great idea cutting the tips off. Thanks for sharing, and please stay safe 🙏
I've made a huge amount of potato chip blocks but never using these size fabrics. I'm excited to try it.

Thanks for the video. I'm taking the makings of my first potato chip quilt as backup to a retreat on Monday. Should be fun.

Love the quilt! I must try this one. ❤ I don’t understand why it’s called a potato chip quilt. New quilter here. 🤔 Thanks for sharing.
I have wondered this as well! Why is it called the potatoe chip block?
