I think it's because there are so many people out there that have never had a way to somewhat anonymously tell their encounter. Sending an email is quite a bit different than logging a report with the BFRO or telling people you know, I think. And there are lots of bigfoot encounter channels out there. I listen to a lot of them. What I like is that they each seem to have a very different way of handling the stories and narrating them.
Jason - my husband calls them the "Crypto Friday Night Specials" in our house. :) He's silly. I look forward to Friday nights, too! After I upload my encounters for you all, I sit back and hit up my other favorite Bigfoot channels and listen to their encounters! :) BIGFOOT FRIDAY! WHOOP! WHOOP!
Hi Nance, great story from Ron and as always glad to hear he came through unscathed, and of course he did the right thing by gifting the fish, I would have more or less done the same, and I concur with Ron that this 'Squatch was sickly and possibly the other one also and looking for a handout due to probably not doing great in hunting for it's own food, not sure if I would have left the scene right away but I'm sure they would have been back the next evening looking for more food and if you came up dry while fishing they may have been aggravated if they didn't get their handout, it didn't happen like that so we don't know! One last note, as always, thanks for the great narration, if there were a competition for "Naration" and they gave out medals, well you would definitely be in the running for the "Gold" without a doubt! Have a great weekend my friend, can't wait for Tuesday, take care!
Hi D.J.! I liked this encounter a lot, too. I liked that he was being cautious, but not willing to blast everything to pieces because he was scared. I could only hope to be that calm. (And I am sure I wouldn't be - I'd be screaming like an 8 year old girl who found a spider on her pillow) As always - I genuinely appreciate that you not only listen to the channel, but you take the time to comment and be a positive force in the comments. That means a lot. Thanks - Nance.
@@BuckeyeBigfoot Hi Nance, I doubt anyone could be calm in that situation, we hope that we would but it would really have to happen to you before you know how you'd react, saying that, I think you'd be calmer than many, you take care my friend, as always, D.J.
My son's are going backpacking in Lake Hope area all weekend. They prefer to explore all night and the last time, July 4th week, they were followed. They asked me if Park rangers would follow hikers through the woods at 4am. They heard footsteps that stopped when they stopped. They heard whistles and whoops and low growls... And lots of tree snaps. They even said out loud, "ok, Bigfoot, we're going back to our cabin!" They were pretty freaked out but seem excited to return. I'll keep you updated if anything occurs. This time they're staying in a tent of trail but probably won't sleep until daylight.
Lake Vesuvius was shut down 3 different times back in 2016 due to multiple sasquatch sightings the picnic area was closed as well as all the camping areas my brother lives only a few miles from the lake right out of Ironton Ohio
I know all too well of that same possible Bigfoot! The one I saw was about the same height and long and lanky as I described it before! Not with the big barrel chest as most people describe and it was in my Aunt's back yard not far from Lake Vesuvius!
Seriously, Red Garcia? Whoah. That's something to think about. Has anyone noticed the scar on the face? That would be something if we knew it was definitely the same one!
It was dark..around 10:30 or 11 & my Aunt K and I were leaving my Aunt W's house when W's dog started barking his head off which caused it to take 2 strides to get across the driveway and disappeared into the woods behind her house! The dusk to dawn light on the top of the garage and moonlight is the only reason we could see it as it walked quickly across the driveway. We stood there for a few mins talkin about what we had just witnessed when suddenly we hear this very deep obviously male ROAR/YELL that a human male could not have done even with a PA system! It or he was about 7 1/2 to 8ft tall and what stood out to me the most was that it was long and lanky not real thick barrel-chested like most people say when they encounter one.
Hi Di Bell - I'm happy to help kick off the weekend with a bigfoot encounter. My husband calls it the "Crypto Friday Night Special" in our house. He's such a dork! :)
Hi guys I am indeed the Mike from yanceyville, nc that sent you the encounter from our farm. I’m a big fan of your channel and I feel extra special to get a shout from y’all. Much love
Joe Jr - I have never been to Lake Vesuvius. I'm even sadder to say that I have never been to any part of the Wayne National Forest. (I live all the way on the other side of the state in Butler County - just above Cincinnati) But Wayne is on my bucket list to go visit, so I'm glad to hear someone else thinks it's a beautiful place. :) Ummm - but I'm not camping in Iron Ridge, and I'm especially not staying at site 16. :D
@@BuckeyeBigfoot I spend a lot of time on the Wayne, I'm very fortunate to have a job that allows me to visit all the different sites. This summer I've been from Marietta to ironton and everywhere in between. It's a great place to go, just research before your trip!
And I did not last long at site 16, between the heat, humidity and a constant uneasy feeling I found a more suitable place to stay at the elkins creek horse camp. If you go and stay look them up. Great people and neat little carriages turned into rooms to rent that have ac and heat, right in the middle of the Wayne!
When I was a kid visiting family in the area me n my mom had an encounter with one of these things in my grandpa's garden ,picking tomatoes. It was on the other side and I couldn't see much of it because of the corn. It made some very strange noises and beat on the ground. I could feel the ground rumble. Then Me and my mom ran to the house. I found videos 20 years later I'm playing these sounds from a clip of sasquatch huffing and grunting for my mom n she said immediately these are the noises she can remember. The lake is absolutely amazing. The stone structures are out of this world. One place looks like a ritual chamber. Down a path it's natural stone walls on both sides. Although the only complaint I have is visitors are polluting and some times not respectful of the place. Which ruins the pictures I want to take.
This was one of the better stories. It actually made me Lol when he said they could have the fish if they would just go away. If Bigfoot have such a good sense of smell, they probably could tell that he was frozen with fear. And that was probably a good thing. I would have been frozen INSIDE the camper. Yikes!
THAT was a great story MS. NANCE. I don't know if I would have had the guts that he did to go outside in the first place. I might have mustarded up the courage to throw the fish out though. Realizing that's what they wanted, and from the sounds of his description of the one BIGFOOT, he needed them 4 and then some!! Can't wait for the next one!!!
I don't know that I would have gone out there, either, even if I just thought someone was messing with my truck. My first thought was there could be five of them out there (humans) and he wouldn't have stood a chance! But luckily, it turned out well for him. Whew. Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment - we'll meet up again on Tuesday!
What a great story!!! I do have a story of my own to tell When we moved into this house there was a all forest behind or house just beyond our 8 ft fence. One night in the summer I was sitting outside watching over my grandson as he played in the big sandbox. I was looking at the fence when all of a sudden 2 huge eyes rose up just above the fence.i looked at it and it looked at me and for about 2 minutes I truly thought I was looking at a Bigfoot but then it started coming towards me and as it went over my head I realizedy Bigfoot was in reality a drone.
Ron earns the award for common sense reactions... By that, he earned just by waking up... You know how many stories on RUclips I've heard where like 95% of the group doesn't even bother to acknowledge they heard a sound or bother waking up? Infuriates me lol when you hear, "yeah I'm out here to chase a nocturnal creature with eye shine but I'm going to sleep through the night when they're most active....or blame a bear and go back to sleep."
Hi Eloy - I'm glad you liked Ron's encounter. I thought it was pretty interesting, and though I've never been to Lake Vesuvius (it's on the other side of the state from me) if I ever DO go, I'm not staying in the Iron Ridge camping area! :D
Paula - I just looked it up too for comparison - it says 766 million acres. The United Kingdom TOTAL land mass (not just forest) is 59.92 million acres. So the USA has enough forest to make more than ten United Kingdoms. That blows my mind! :O (Not picking on the UK - just looking for a comparison)
Not running out of land but they’re not making more of it either. I hope there’s enough forest for them to make a go but this is also why we need to elect politicians who value public lands.
Hi Daniel - I'm glad you enjoyed this encounter. I thought a lot of things about it were pretty unusual. Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment - Nance
So sad to think this Bigfoot was hurt and was probably thin because of his injuries which caused him not to be able to forage for food And to think he was actually asking for food 😔🙏🏻thanks Ron for actually sensing what he needed.❤️
Glad you enjoyed it - I had someone contact me and tell me they have another story to send in from the Lake Vesuvius area, so be on the lookout for it!
The dents on the camper & ur standing as a respected hunter should be enough for the person to matter of factly told the game agents. To not relate the tale is to put someone else in danger. Not everyone will have fish to offer.
Great account of an encounter with a Bigfoot! I can believe this, even though I personally have never had anything like that happen to me. It just seems to me to have been hungry (or sick, as you say), so the best thing you could have done was exactly what you did, (which is what I would have done, I think)! In a situation where your nerves are strung out as it is, who has the presence of mind to think of getting a photo?! Not me! Great job of narrating this account, Nance. Keep up the good work!
Hi Wyatt-Earp. Oh - the thumbnails. I HATE making thumbnails. :O I always like everyone else's thubnails better, and I'm not blessed with an artistic eye, so I really find them the biggest chore of the whole encounter set up, so I'm thrilled you think the thumbnails are good - whew!
A ball bat wouldn't have been much good, if there had been two or more men out there, waiting to ambush the guy! Something strange at my campsite, I would pack a gun if I were brave enough to investigate.. No one knows what is waiting for them, in the dark shadows of the woods...?
That's what I thought too. No matter how big a man is, if he walks out there to find five men messing with his truck, he's in big danger. But I understand him not wanting to shoot someone over breaking into his truck. But just the sight of the gun would have been enough to deter someone. But I also think that may have been what he was referring to when he kept saying he knew he should have done things differently. Thanks for listening and commenting! - - Nance
Buckeye Bigfoot, I call it the way I see(hear it) and you truly put your heart into it, painting the picture, stirring the imagination, giving these tales, experiences stories the credibility the witnesses deserve. Thank you lady!
You bet I put my heart into it! I've been up since 4am est trying to catch up on emails and comments! :) (And I'm not complaining - I enjoy interacting with people!)
Joe Krall - it's all good. I like getting up early on the weekends and knocking as much out as early as I can. I'm actually pretty well rested. Have a great weekend!
Kimberly - I am certain if I am ever out in the woods and weird things are happening, I will definitely not be whooping, whistling, wood knocking or doing anything else to get their attention. I wouldn't mind seeing one, but at a distance. :)
This experiencer is entirely too calm even beyond believability, for me at least, especially when he starts out saying he had never believed in bigfoots prior to this. When he tells how very close he was to it for quite awhile when he first saw it, would he really deliberately dare shine his flashlight in its face? It sounds like he had as much chance to get in the truck as he did to get into the camper. Wouldn't he want the chance to drive away if he had to?
Whitney - I now have the image of the Bigfoot whistling in the window to get him to stop snoring. That whole episode had nothing to do with the fish after all! HAHA
@@BuckeyeBigfoot The first thing that preceded was that the BigFoot made a noise loud enough to wake Him up, so he must have been more concerned about the snoring. AT FIRST. Great story and narration, as always.
Ron loved your story..the fact it walked right past you holding a bat..maybe the chatter warned you. Dont hit me. Or saw that little stick and knew it we ont hurt me. Or he will never be able to hit me. Too fast for him
who is going to think of taking a pic in that situation?!!! Boy is she right about islands of forest. All contractors should have to go live in the middle of the prairie for a year then come back east and build. There are huge areas with no trees naturally.
Thanks Nance. And Thank you camper. I agree with this Camper. It is actually very difficult to catch fish with your hands. Especially when one is ill. Maybe people are poisoning them too. I know only a few people who put out poison for predators...but it only takes a few...or one. (I really hope this is not happening). I have recently been thinking of that movie "Planet of the Apes" in retrospect to the many Sasquatch experiences. I would help a sick one...and know they have helped many people. Some are crazy...some are not. But I agree that they should be allowed to have a designated habitats like we give Wolves and Bison. There is plenty to go around. I also have this weird wish...somebody would teach them farming and pole or net fishing... They are intelligent. If we can teach a cat to use a toilet...it seems that a befriended one could learn...and teach other bf.
I was just thinking they migrate and food would be a priority. Johnny Appleseed was based on a real person and he planted Ohio with apple trees. Could be a small attraction.
I live in Alaska my wife an i have seen them some are nice an quiet move through with minimal curiosity. Some are scary an make my dogs who total 525 pounds between them wont go outside. Heck i wont go outside they avoid lights motion cameras night vision i think they can see the light myself cause i used the cams to keep them away from where we walk outside.
Hi Diana - I get the stories out on Tuesdays and Fridays as of right now. I'm trying to space them out in case I have a spell where no one sends anything in. :)
@@BuckeyeBigfoot Hi Nance, Thank you for replying and letting me know what days your stories come out. "I absolutely love winding down in the evenings to your stories!!! This guy did about 30 minutes of thinking just spotting the bigfoot. I would have been out of there 2 seconds after I saw it. I wouldn't have had enough time to tell myself " I'm out of here"
He's got one thing wrong, wilderness in this country is not like island in a sea of humans. There is huge amount of wilderness in this country. Maybe not as much back east as in the west but I'll tell you there is wilderness so deep that no one has ever been there nor would they want. That state of Montana is just about all wilderness. USA has 100 of thousand of square miles of wilderness. The Southern States also have huge area of wilderness as well. Bigfoot is not just "holding on" in fact the population is getting bigger all the time. Canada is a big country and most of it is empty. Humans can't live in lots of area but bigfoot can and if they only come out at night is it any wonder we never see them.

Here's an 💡 Idea... Bigfoot trail signs. One little box shows a picture of a fish...with the sign language sign for fish. Simple words. I'm sorry to post twice... But I know they learned Native languages...so why not English? And NO ! Im not a racist...lol
I seen a big foot piloting a flying saucer with Dogman over the Bermuda triangle...they were fleeing from the FBI who wanted to question them about their connection to the Kennedy assassination and weapons of mass destruction.
That scar could very well have been from a bullet. Other one could have been a female. I would have stayed longer and caught more fish and gave them those. Also some apples and other food to help them get back their strengh.

Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment. I can't always reply, but I always read the comments! I genuinely appreciate you listening, liking and commenting. -- Nance
Nice story it's so much better listening while barbecuing in the backyard relaxing. Thank you.
Been into the subject for a few years now and it’s funny how many of these channels we have now. Bigfoot story telling is taking RUclips by storm.
Love Friday's not only Friday night high school football but bigfoot Friday thank you
Jason - my husband calls them the "Crypto Friday Night Specials" in our house. :) He's silly.
I look forward to Friday nights, too! After I upload my encounters for you all, I sit back and hit up my other favorite Bigfoot channels and listen to their encounters! :)
BIGFOOT FRIDAY! WHOOP! WHOOP!
Thank you for sharing mrs bukeye Bigfoot ☺️💙

Jay - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate you listening and taking the time to comment. We'll meet up again Tuesday night!
Great story! Your voice is perfect for storytelling...love your channel..
Hi Michael - thanks! I'm glad you like the channel, and I am very appreciative that you took the time to say so. Stay tuned for more encounters! :)
(And I am sure I wouldn't be - I'd be screaming like an 8 year old girl who found a spider on her pillow)
As always - I genuinely appreciate that you not only listen to the channel, but you take the time to comment and be a positive force in the comments.
Thats a strange area in general, I'm there a few times a year as well.
😮😮😮😮😮😮 Holy crap! Tell those boys to be careful, Scot and definitely let us know if anything happens! I'm sure everyone would love to hear it.
Wow that was an awesome experience! Thanks for sharing Ron & thanks for narrating Nance! 😊
As always, beautifully narrated!! Thank you : ).
Excellent story as usual. I love this site. Great work to Nance.
👏excellent narration as well as content, please keep them coming.
"Give them the fish. Give them the fish". Don't know who I think I'm talking to ? Twenty five minutes goes fast. Thank you so much. 👣💜👣
J Burnett - that is what *I* was thinking when I first read the encounter in my email!!!
GIVE. HIM. THE. FISSSSSSHH!
hehe
As they say in Jersey......GIVE HIM THE FISH ALREADY!!!!
Lake Vesuvius was shut down 3 different times back in 2016 due to multiple sasquatch sightings the picnic area was closed as well as all the camping areas my brother lives only a few miles from the lake right out of Ironton Ohio
Cool i wish i could see one!!!!
I love all the encounters u reads
I believe I told you most of this story back close to the beginning of your channel. Then found you on Rat and Cat a few days later! LOL
I believe the long lanky ones are juveniles...
😮😮😱😱
Glad you gave them some fish...
Thanks for starting the weekend off right and for all your work. Have a safe weekend until next Tuesday.
Hi Di Bell - I'm happy to help kick off the weekend with a bigfoot encounter. My husband calls it the "Crypto Friday Night Special" in our house. He's such a dork! :)
Hi guys
I am indeed the Mike from yanceyville, nc that sent you the encounter from our farm. I’m a big fan of your channel and I feel extra special to get a shout from y’all. Much love
“He walked right past me”.....
What a hair-raising Testimony!
herbielina - I agree, and it's a testimony I wouldn't want to ever personally be able to give!
Shame the Bigfoot was sick..he probably not eaten anything much... really good story thank you for this amazing story 😆😁
Jay - I agree, and I'm glad Ron gave them the fish. They probably needed it.
@@BuckeyeBigfoot I'm glad aswel... really like your stories thank you for sharing g bless 😆
I do t feel bad this thing was sick. They're wicked
Absolutely wonderful....Thank you so much.
I've stayed at site 16, love it. The prettiest area ohio has to offer down around lake vesuvius
Ummm - but I'm not camping in Iron Ridge, and I'm especially not staying at site 16.
Fantastic story!! 💗
This was one of the better stories. It actually made me Lol when he said they could have the fish if they would just go away. If Bigfoot have such a good sense of smell, they probably could tell that he was frozen with fear. And that was probably a good thing. I would have been frozen INSIDE the camper. Yikes!
I officially as of right now fell in love with your voice and story telling! I look forward to thr next story
I do have a story of my own to tell
When we moved into this house there was a all forest behind or house just beyond our 8 ft fence.
Great story! Love you channel.
Wow... great story, thanx Nance
Hi Eloy - I'm glad you liked Ron's encounter. I thought it was pretty interesting, and though I've never been to Lake Vesuvius (it's on the other side of the state from me) if I ever DO go, I'm not staying in the Iron Ridge camping area! :D
I looked this up.. we have over 700 million acres of woodlands, national parks and so on. We are no means running out of land!
Paula - I just looked it up too for comparison - it says 766 million acres.
The United Kingdom TOTAL land mass (not just forest) is 59.92 million acres. So the USA has enough forest to make more than ten United Kingdoms. That blows my mind! :O
(Not picking on the UK - just looking for a comparison)
Not running out of land but they’re not making more of it either. I hope there’s enough forest for them to make a go but this is also why we need to elect politicians who value public lands.
That's an awesome story, too bad you didn't think of throwing the fish out the door sooner! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Awesome story. I liked it.
Hi Daniel - I'm glad you enjoyed this encounter. I thought a lot of things about it were pretty unusual.
Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment - Nance
So sad to think this Bigfoot was hurt and was probably thin because of his injuries which caused him not to be able to forage for food
And to think he was actually asking for food 😔🙏🏻thanks Ron for actually sensing what he needed.❤️
Great story Nance
Glad you enjoyed it - I had someone contact me and tell me they have another story to send in from the Lake Vesuvius area, so be on the lookout for it!
@@BuckeyeBigfoot I sure will
Congratulations SteveB and Billy!!
Great bigfoot story.🦍👣
Great story! Love your narration! And, I agree, nope nopity nope, not going out there!!
I think he is right about that, thank you Ron.
The dents on the camper & ur standing as a respected hunter should be enough for the person to matter of factly told the game agents. To not relate the tale is to put someone else in danger. Not everyone will have fish to offer.
That was incredible, ty😊
Great account of an encounter with a Bigfoot! I can believe this, even though I personally have never had anything like that happen to me. It just seems to me to have been hungry (or sick, as you say), so the best thing you could have done was exactly what you did, (which is what I would have done, I think)! In a situation where your nerves are strung out as it is, who has the presence of mind to think of getting a photo?! Not me!
Great job of narrating this account, Nance. Keep up the good work!
By the way you have one of the best. Good voice stories And thumbnails
- - Nance
Nope. I'm not letting somebody steal my chewed bubble gum. We did not get here by allowing and tolerating all this foolishness.
Ron!!!! Great story
Hi Big Mike! I'm glad you liked the story.
Say - are you the Mike that just sent me an encounter from NC? :)
Beautiful narration!! Talk about putting the listener there!!
Joe - thank you. I think your words are high praise and is the most I could ever strive to achieve with the narrations.
(And I'm not complaining - I enjoy interacting with people!)
Buckeye Bigfoot wow! Get some rest
Joe Krall - it's all good. I like getting up early on the weekends and knocking as much out as early as I can. I'm actually pretty well rested. Have a great weekend!
The Big Foot was determined to get in the camper because it needed those fish.
Ty
Great story
Wow one I haven't heard before cool beans. 🙃
Oh no whistles..I've read if you call or whistle at them they will answer!
When bigfoot wants your mug. he will get it.
Bigfoot was annoyed about your snoring problem.
I guess this guy never heard of the Ohio grass-man. Sasquatch are just about everywhere, they are not an animal.
Rockring a campar I love that storie
Loved it!!!❤❤
Ron loved your story..the fact it walked right past you holding a bat..maybe the chatter warned you.
Good Morning Nance, Any new stories on the horizon? I sure do look forward listening to them!! : )
It's become my nightly routine and I always look forward to listening to you narrate them. I feel as though I see, hear, and feel everything in each story the beautiful way you narrate them. Take care and thank you so much again!!!
indeed a good man..
Glad he gave the fish
Wish he had stayed and caught it more fish.
If you listen really close, you can hear bigfoot giggling, right after he screws with someone. Bigfoot, the Dick of the forest!
You know i believe 100% in bigfoot i have never been luck to see one that was why i asked you if ppl have sent you any pics of one seen i wod love to
Always prepare for the worst pray for the best
I visited lake vesuvius once and I wish I had seen a bigfoot instead I caught humans skinny dipping.
In my opinion if this was a horror movie he would be the first to bite the dust!
Good story
Hi Brain - I liked this encounter as well. Thanks for listening and commenting - Nance
A great story! How do I get one of those mugs?
Excuse me...10’5” and you know that wasn’t my torso you were looking at and I was on a cleanse so I lost a bit of weight.....geez
WOW
If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day....
If you give a boquis a few fish, he doesn't beat your camper to pieces
This was a killer account!
ER doc asks...how did you get that Samsquatch mug shtuffed all the way up in there? Samsquatch are mean.

How do I sign up for drawing for free mug?
Why it could have snapped your neck if it wanted to when it brushed up against you as it walked by
Here's an 💡 Idea... Bigfoot trail signs. One little box shows a picture of a fish...with the sign language sign for fish. Simple words. I'm sorry to post twice... But I know they learned Native languages...so why not English? And NO ! Im not a racist...lol
If you really knew where these creature come from you would then know we as humans did not encroach upon them !
He seriously should have just set the fish outside for the poor thing 🙄
