I just won a game where we had a solo tank Thor, 1 healer jeff, and 4 dps against the enemy's 3 healer comp. Best day of my life
Its lowkey doable it truly is. But it is VERY hingent on those dps

@CrunchyBreads its just something that needs to be stated. If you aren't good enough to make 4 dps viable you gotta swap off, it's bad enough when people do nothing but insta lock dps but we shouldn't let those same people think the comp can just "work" when in practice you essentially have to play perfectly. Unless the enemy team is just actually dogwater or your team is amazing 1-4-1 is not super practical

I'm glad to see even the best Wolverine has moments where the leap misses somehow and you go "WHAT THE HELL MAN WHAT WAS THAT" too. That move is so janked.
Also the framedrop issue. Every time I mention it they just call it trash PC or salty excuses. It hasn't happened in a while but a couple weeks ago my matches would randomly drop to like single digit frames for a couple seconds and caused me to lose a handful of fights.
It's kinda funny, in season zero people would hate on the Wolverine pick, now in game 3 in hates on the cap pick and cap is dominating the lobby.

Devs should add an option to hide enemy nametags during the ban/pick phase in high elo.
They added streamer mode that hides their name
@@donniebell7887 From what ive read streamer mode only hide it on your screen so that you don't get spammed with invite and whatnot. If it was as simple as streamer mode to alway hide your name top 500 streamer one trick wouldnt be spending so much on name change.
Why would they do that? They make more money charging you for name changes.
@@Blackraptor1234 because the % of the playerbase that would want to hide their names is much smaller than the % of the playerbase that wants people to see their name. They make pennies off of high elo one tricks paying for name-changes compared to the amount of free advertising they get from said one-tricks providing free advertising.

Unranked is honestly harder tbh. In ranked your skill is a much bigger factor on if you win or not, while in unranked you often have 3-4 instalock dps, and most of the time they are ass lmao. I can go on huge winstreaks in ranked, but not in unranked

For the FPS issue, if your drive isn’t already set in your control panel, change your designated driver to your high performance driver. Sometimes the system defaults to the bad driver not the good one
Wolverine needs so much heal attention that I feel bad for both wolvs and heals soloqing
They should give him a life steal mechanic, nothing that lets him dive and not die but something that takes the pressure off healers

My fps has been suuuper bad lately too, my drivers are updated and everything. Something definitely got fucked up recently. Hopefully gets fixed soon.

Yes it’s been extremely common hence why I got so tilted at the grab at 1:39 , I’m unsure why this sort of stuff is so common atm

Ive been getting a ton of packet loss sometimes even tho i tested it and seen i was fine.
I’ve been having a good time since season 1’s optimization update, however these past few days have been really weird. My fps is dropping like crazy, maps take insanely long time to load in.
I thought I was crazy, I’m a student and I play wolve so I get frequent small hiatuses because of school and usually I sit around an average of 60%-70% pin rate with wolve’s pins. This week im down to 33% average. Like, there are moments where I’m claw deep into a strange and I just jump and phase through him multiple times in a row. Even to the point of stopping using the short dash and walking up to them to make sure I grab them. It’s infuriating because it makes me literally useless to my team just jumping around doing nothing.
It looks like the other Wolverine was missing his grabs too in that first match. Wonder what's up with that?

My favourite thing about wolverine (at least in low elo) is watching an enemy hulk ult while you have your abilities (+ult) off cooldown and you death by 1000 cuts him while the hulk barely registers what happened to him on the kill cam

I tried wolverine but his hitboxes are just so bad that i could not continue, like i had instances of the enemy's body pushing my wolverine mid leap to the side and not getting grabbed by him 😮💨

What everyone else said, plus the queue times in super high elo are hella long. Better for stream to play on a smurf than to sit thru 15-minute matchmaking queues

I do get the fps issues sometimes but weirdly ONLY when I'm playing Wolverine
I havent had fps issues since update and my pc kinda mid, try dlss performance and they added off options for some graphics settings I did those too. Also mouse polling rate above 4000 causes some stuttering too when you turn side to side.

I do have some fps issues but only when playing for extended periods its a big drop from 160 fps to 60 and it doesn't feel nice

Does anyone ever get the issue with Wolverine when you hit the Leap (as in lined up and game makes the sound indicating you hit the Leap), and then it's like you hit a wall? You and the tank go nowhere, and this is not Hulk or Magneto bubble stopping it or anything like that. Nothing happens except you still get the berserker claw.
How to know when wolverine has his passive? Im confused ad
there's a cross and shield icon (like an emoji) above someone's health bar that has the passive. look for that when engaging.

Triple support meta is an extremely valid criticism. We had it in Overwatch for years. It was a large reason why people stopped playing. It’s an unhealthy meta for the game to be in for the long term. Nothing dying is not good game design.

@@JackJackoff88 I'm in diamond 1 with 30 hours this season(don't have much time to play) it doesn't bother me in the slightest. makes catching people outside of healing range, flankers and keeping their attention off of healing more fun actually. I play magik and venom mostly. distracting healers is my cup of tea.
