- Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill is joined by Lindsay Peat and Johne Murphy as they look back on Ireland’s 31-7 win over Wales in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
They look at some of the sloppy Ireland play, some good Welsh defending and what Ireland will be looking to improve on over the next few weeks.
They dive into Ireland’s scrum and how they’re improving, and where they’re making their mistakes with discipline.
Plus, they look at the other results across the tournament, how England allowed Scotland to take control of the game and the controversial end to the Italy/France draw. - Развлечения
Lindsey Peat should have her own show. Articulate, passionate, with quiet authority, backed by personal experience, she's a complete natural!! Great stuff....
I concur.
@ianlong6096, And she does speak with a natural accent which shows she has a bit of intelligence.
Great podcast, johne & Lindsay both fair & impartial with their analysis, and great to listen to.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to and learning from the panel. Maith sibh!
Great episode guys, keep it up
We beat what was in front of us , not perfect agreed but when push came to shove we had the team to win . Right we will be on point for the trip to twickers . An away win ! Yes . Come on the boys in green .
I hope we go 6/2 again, Casey and Frawley as the backs. I see Bealham coming back in as he is still ahead of Oli. Keenan back at fullback. No need to rush Ringrose back in maybe a bench spot against Scotland or we might need him to start if the is a centre or wing injury.
Yep, hard to argue with that
Máire ❤
Our kick chase has gone backwards. Less and less pressure on the receiving player. It leads to worrying open play returns
Things can change quickly. Win the next game well and the Wales game is forgotten about. Lose and all of a sudden there is a pattern of poor form. England at Twickenham is going to be hard. When is it not but on the plus side if we are on our game and have the right pitch of intensity we will likely win.
Need to fix this panel
An hour of complete negativity after a bonus point win and a 24 point winning margin give these mighty men a break
I think they’ve already done it. Done it too well, indeed.
I challenge anyone to know what individual referees are going to penalize at the scrums. Its a lottery. You are only allowed to push forward is one thing, but surely that twists the scrum in a circle rather than the opposition crumbling under the onslaught? Nobody know what is going to happen at scrum time. |The quarter final against New Zealand proved that. The ref had us all scratching our heads at his decisions. Even the pack couldn't figure it out. It happens every match and nobody knows what the ref will penalize. Does anybody out there know? I haven't a clue. Anyway it shouldn't be a penalty, nor should offside except inside the opposition half, it should be just a free kick to keep the game flowing. Restarts at scrum time is killing the game and the ref should just give a free kick to either side after the scrum doesn't work. Sick of restarts.
Were they watching the same game ?? Crowley was brilliant! This crowd are more interested in using buzz words but really are clueless.
Need to fix? Are you serious?
The danger is that in all the deserved praise for Ireland their faults are ignored. If that becomes the norm then complacency & smugness sets in. So constructive criticism is important.
Ireland have been brilliant this year so far having played the 3 worst teams. I think the panel were spot on sounding a bit worried. Having been totally dominant in the first half we found ourselves only 10 points up and Arguable our most important player Beirne off for 10 minutes 3 minutes after half time. An England or Scotland may well have put us to the sword at that stage. That performance will not beat England in Twickingham so this negative talk should work in our favour and have the players fired up and with a point to prove to beat the old enemy.
CAN WE PLEASE STOP SAYING CUPUTSO! HE HAS BEEN PLAYING LONG ENOUGH TO PRONOUNCE IT RIGHT! HELPER: CAP-O-WHAT-ZO
😂
lineout in shambles again...first 2 games were 100%...no comprendo
Seriously what do women know about rugby. Just look at the attendance for their games. I seen a game recently and there were more players than spectators.
What woukd u know its a man game
Who are you actually aiming that at?
@@lizzyhanahoe4197 Lizzy take no heed the ladies are excellent
Is this panel for real? Bonus point win for Ireland at not even ¾ pace. Are they trying to be controversial to be relevant?
Hardly controversial to point out that we weren't outstanding against an inexperienced, relatively poor Welsh team. The bonus point should have been guaranteed within 60 minutes and we only got it when the clock was in the red.
Un watchable. Pity John Murphy .
Grandad's at the laptop again!
