- My Lego investment haul form the end of May 2024.
As well as taking advantage of the most recent free gift with purchase offer from Lego.com, there were also some great deals to be had from Amazon AND I have another box to open from the latest Lego Auction haul, which includes some rare sets from 8-9 years ago.

Great video, thanks for sharing your haul with us!
Thank you for watching
Thanks Ian . Huge haul! Enjoy your weekend
Matt from Dorset
Thanks Matt. Yes, I just can't resist some of these deals.
Great video Ian, I hope that your keeping well.
Hi Trevor - yes, I'm very well thanks. Hope you are too. Thanks for watching
I bought the A-Team Dimensions set when they were in the shop just for the Mr T/ B. A. Baracus minifigure. I was really hoping that Lego would do an A-Team set with the whole team, either something like the Ghostbusters Ecto 1 Ideas set or maybe a bigger van in the Creator Expert/ Icons line along with the minifigures like they did with the ‘89 Batmobile.
Glad I was able to get 3 of the BA Baracus dimensions sets.
Yes, it is off they never did the rest of the gang.
I have those Dimensions Back to the Future sets. The Marty one comes with a very nice printed Hoverboard piece. Gremlins set has excellent mini figures!
Thanks for watching. I do love being able to get hold of some of these older sets
I like the look of the dimensions sets. Don't know much about them
Yes, there are some very cool mini builds and minifigures in some of the packs.
Awesome video never seen the sets you got in auction before
Thanks. Dimensions sets were out on sale between 2015 and 2017 I think.
wow - some great LEGO sets in this haul.. Awesome job
Thanks Mark.
The King of Haul ! Like the dragon and Monkie kid !
Thanks. Yes, I like them both too.
Another massive haul. Some cracking Dimensions sets there 👍🏻
Thanks. I was just really pleased with the variety of dimensions sets I was able to get.
Love these type of unboxing videos Ian, they are like the prelude and build up to an expo video. Keep up the great content and I look forward to the sales event one :)
Thank you. I try to buy a good mix of different sets, although this can just depend what is on offer at the time.
Very nice haul Iain. Like the table display of dried flowers, might pick up a few for investing. 😊
Thanks Wayne. It's a nice looking set, but try and get it for at least £30 or less.
There are some really cool minifigs in those Dimension sets, i am loving the BA Baracus and Gremlins ones. I really didn't know anything about those Dimensions sets but they do seem fairly expensive, at least some of them do. Very nice that you got a bunch of those
Thanks Peter. I can remthose Dimension sets on supermarket shelves in the UK- nobody was buying them at the time. Despite the high prices I paid for them, I should still be able to make a reasonable profit when I sell them on individually
The flowers set is only really for the US for Thanksgiving which we don't yet celebrate in the UK.. hence why it's a slow seller in the UK
Glad I was able to get them for less than £20
Have you picked up the lego concorde from Argos? 20% and the set came in the brown lego outer box!
Hi. Yes, I did see it was discounted, however 20% is not brilliant, and it's not scheduled to retire until 2026 so it's a hard pass for me at the moment.
Hi Ian there is another event in Milton Keynes in November called Brick Fayre.
Hi - I was not aware of this so thanks for the heads up. There has already been a Brick Festival in May this year and there is another one in September, as well as the Brick Fest Live that I went to a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure doing a Brick Fayre in the same town is a good idea.
Woohoo first for a change. Just about to watch the video 😊😊😊
Excellent. Thanks for your support
So excited and I haven’t even got 30seconds in the video. Hoping to see space diners 😍😍😍
Lol! Love your enthusiasm. Thank you. There may be a few space diners....
Yeah you got a Monkie kid set!! Excellent. I have that set. Its really good. There are a lot of stickers!! Have you looked at the monkie kid castle of the east? Its beautiful.
Great to hear that you really like the set. Yes, I have my eye on a few Monkie Kid sets that will be retiring this year.
The Lord of the Ring GWP is sold out , This GWP is already sold out in Europe, which went very quickly. I bought 2, they are already selling for a lot of money on eBay. Did you also buy a set?
Nice video
Yes, I've seen that they have all sold out. No, I didger either set. Leave them for the LOTR fans who really want them.
A massive haul and a fresh haircut. Lol. You may need a shed or extension to house all these hauls in between your shows!
Glad you noticed the hair. It was getting a bit long.
How many events would you say you sell at each year? Great haul!
It depends how many I can get into. This year I've done 3 already and have 8 more planned later in the year.
Hi Iain, as you're a master of the these cashback sites, is it possible to use multiple cashback sites when making a purchase, say on the LEGO website, or do they clash and conflict with each other? Also, do you always get awarded the advertised cashback, or does it often not track? I've been using a few of them lately but not having much luck....thanks in advance.
Hi. You can normally just use one cashback site per order, as the link from.the cashback site takes you to the Lego site. Sometimes the cashback doesn't work but that can sometimes be because I've not spent enough, as some cashback does not include vat costs. You can however use promo codes for like say, extra free gifts as well as cashback.
Oh wow my 9 year old would go mad for the knight rider set. She’s obsessed with David hasslehoff she’s watched all the seasons of knight rider and oddly enjoys his music too 😂
I love how unusual some of the dimensions sets can be. Take a look on ebay, as there are plenty of Knight Rider dimensions sets available to buy
Great haul Iain. I like the bulk of your purchases, not keen on Marvel for investment. I am currently in Moscow. Russia and the lego store (called World of cubes) now sells CADA type lego from China. Looks OK but I'm a true only original Lego fan.
Hi William. Imagine living in Russia and not being able to buy Lego! Nightmare! Seriously though, have a fantastic time.
Great video and haul Iain. Some really good sets there. Instead of getting a few sets I’m after, ill be getting Barack-due on Saturday
Thanks Wayne. I assume you mean Barad-dûr (bloody auto correct)
@@iainsbricks 😂 yes and that one.
Great haul Iain, love the vids! hope you don't mind me asking but what auction site do you use?
Hi. I use a number of different auction houses. Just Google them and I'm sure you will be able to find an auction house near you.
Hi Iain thank you , I you buying The Lord of the Rings: Barad- Dur with the Fell - Beast ?
Hi. I probably won't be buying that set just yet
Hi Ian’s bricks there is a Hampshire brick event at the end of October 2024 in locks heath
Hi Oli. Yes, I should hopefully be there with a table .
@@iainsbricks iam after a table too for selling my sets off
@@oliransome173 send them a message on Facebook to see if they have any spaces left.
Kinda like the way you comment damaged box.. it's not too bad etc.. Mostly ppl ask for refund and cry loud because of scratch 😅
Sometimes box damage is unavoidable. I would send something back if it was really bad, but others will just accept it. Too much hassle to send something back.
Where can you the Dimensions series
You can really only find them on ebay or from second hand sellers these days.
Dont know WallE is retiring this year. What's the source?
Brick Fanatics have it listed to retire at the end of the year.
Where do you get the lego auction lots from? Is it online?
There are a number of UK online auctions that I use. Just Google them.
@@iainsbricks I did, there are so many was looking for a recommendation for a decent one.
Is this an auction site??
great haul as always, i want to sell my two steam boat willy gwp hut i cant find a reliable average price. do you know where or how much it is worth
Thanks for watching. Have a look at the sold prices on ebay. I sold some at a Brick Festival recently for £36
Nothing there is an "investment". You'll be lucky to sell for more than a few dollars over your purchase price - Best of luck. Unless you've bought a "lot" more than pictured that's a no go for making money.
You need to watch a few of my other videos. This is a long term plan rather than a get rich quick scheme
What does your wife say about this?
I'm not married, by my partner, he is fine with it all and does help me out at most events.
another great vid to watch and compare buying thoughts on different sets. I tried voucher cloud, the reward was pending but then it never confirmed for some reason.
Thanks for watching. Try using Groupon Discount Codes next time, as I find that is pretty reliable
