First Descendant still has its glitches and bugs, it is not only on Pay-To-Win, but the game is infamous for years in testing as a Grinding Game. Expect months to grind for the resources to gather for that one upgrade you want.

Not one good indie game was shown... Most games shown were dog crap, SPECIALLY THE INDIE GAMES AT THE END! So many great indie games coming out, and they show all the worst ones possible. Just to name a few: Forgive me Father 2, the new expansion for Grim Dawn - Fangs of Asterkarn, Songs of Conquest, Vendir: Plague of Lies, Neverlooted Dungeon, Broken Roads, Under a Rock, Silksong, Selaco and these are just a few of the best ones... There's a lot more coming and NONE of the were even listed... Only the most boring and worst crap I've ever seen... I luckily was grinding levels on Last Epoch while watching the vid on second screen lol, because if not I would want my last 3h back. Of this vid, only a few games caught my interest... The Mech game, the bean killer one (looks funny not gonna lie lol) and Kingdom Come 2... The rest are just waste of time TBH.

Add the countless games of race swapped characters. So when it's a new IP with diversity, equity and inclusion built in by default, it's very easy to spot them. As Asmongold himself who walks a careful line of trying to hold back punches whenever possible gave brief commentary on them without flat out saying it. Count how many games have those types of protagonists. What's the purpose if not DEI. And I wil add a personnel view after viewing both OTK games showcase and this corporate one. The corporate one seems to favor promoting mainly DEI Indie games whereas in the OTK one, there were plenty of more interesting Indie games that seemed neutral, just games. I'm from Abu Dhabi, not white or even close to it.
Wukong I think would probably be around 20-30 hrs I think And its probably a corridor game and not open world like Elden Ring The reason why I'd assume the game time would be around 20 hrs is because from previous interview each stage or segaments of the game cost very much to make, both time and money Although they are funded a lot by other investors after the first trailer popped off years ago It is still their first single game production in their studio, their team's past work was making traditional MMO So they probably is not as experienced as studio say like God of War team. So with smaller team, lesser experienced and same amount of time (4 years after the trailer, and maybe give them 2 more years before the trailer) I really don't think they can make a super long play time like many expected

Kudos to Geoff for putting up indy titles on the stage, that takes some balls and knowledge of the industry. A lot of AAAs in the past would've just boycotted E3 over stuff like this, but today the AAAs have no power over Geoff and everyone kinda understands it so him and his team showcase whatever they want, this is a really nice development in the industry

Not one good indie game was shown... Most games shown were dog crap, SPECIALLY THE INDIE GAMES AT THE END! So many great indie games coming out, and they show all the worst ones possible.
Just to name a few: Forgive me Father 2, the new expansion for Grim Dawn - Fangs of Asterkarn, Songs of Conquest, Vendir: Plague of Lies, Neverlooted Dungeon, Broken Roads, Under a Rock, Silksong, Selaco and these are just a few of the best ones... There's a lot more coming and NONE of the were even listed...
Only the most boring and worst crap I've ever seen... I luckily was grinding levels on Last Epoch while watching the vid on second screen lol, because if not I would want my last 3h back.
Of this vid, only a few games caught my interest... The Mech game, the bean killer one (looks funny not gonna lie lol) and Kingdom Come 2... The rest are just waste of time TBH.
You can guess exactly what half the games would look like before the show started. Few are impressive. All the DEI ones look like clones of one another

@@Quasiguambo Because at first the black female protagonist(Among other markers but this one is most noticeable) was viewed by most as a novelty, when you see games created by overwhelmingly white devs, for a market audience that is overwhelmingly white males. But then the Sweet Baby Inc fiasco offered concrete insight into how they operate. And you look at other mediums of entertainment, movies, and you spot the same pattern. Add the countless games of race swapped characters. So when it's a new IP with diversity, equity and inclusion built in by default, it's very easy to spot them. As Asmongold himself who walks a careful line of trying to hold back punches whenever possible gave brief commentary on them without flat out saying it. Count how many games have those types of protagonists. What's the purpose if not DEI. And I wil add a personnel view after viewing both OTK games showcase and this corporate one. The corporate one seems to favor promoting mainly DEI Indie games whereas in the OTK one, there were plenty of more interesting Indie games that seemed neutral, just games. I'm from Abu Dhabi, not white or even close to it.

The reason why I'd assume the game time would be around 20 hrs is because from previous interview
each stage or segaments of the game cost very much to make, both time and money
Although they are funded a lot by other investors after the first trailer popped off years ago
It is still their first single game production in their studio, their team's past work was making traditional MMO
So they probably is not as experienced as studio say like God of War team.
So with smaller team, lesser experienced and same amount of time (4 years after the trailer, and maybe give them 2 more years before the trailer)
I really don't think they can make a super long play time like many expected

If you enjoy gaming in general this event was plentiful of interesting and fun stuff. If it was boring for you, maybe it's because you only like 1 genre and no game was announced to it.
I love how I had the same reaction as Asmon with Wanderstop, I was watching with my friends and said "the creator of the stanley parable is doing a cozy farming game? what are you doing bro".

Glad too, but the style of the game looks soo generic. And Stanley Parable (Source Engine I believe?) didn't look that generic. Soo, the twists and turns better be astounding.

after a lot of things, i have seen a pattern in "cozy" games.
they are just a product of a big dream limited by the amount of code the devs can actually make work.
cause a lot of them have barely any code to them. not even a bloody inventory or anything. just implement walking and text boxes and 80% is already done.
