Hi can you help me please I want to play music through car play but without having to play it in my phone at Same time like bc when I go on RUclips music on my phone it plays through my car play but when I go off the app on my phone it stops on car play too any idea how I can do it?
You have to connect it with bluetooth

That app works for Apple car play this is not what we want. How do you add apps that are not connected to Apple car play. If the apps are in the App Store we should not be limited to what apps we can or can't add to our apple car play if it's in the App Store
Not all apps are compatible, if you’ve downloaded it’ll show up within carplay if it is. This could be because of a safety issue or because developers haven’t configured it.
There are workarounds but that’s not the point of this video.
Some people are just too dumb to be allowed close to technology.

You said “if it’s on you iPhone it’s on CarPlay….that simply is not correct. I have multiple apps on my iPhones that I want to add to my CarPlay screen and they are there.
1:00 - not all apps are compatible with CarPlay. If you have it downloaded on your iPhone but it’s not showing up on CarPlay, chances are it’s not compatible.

Yes, as far as I’m aware
How do you listen to the radio through car play
You’ll have to use a digital radio app like TuneIn
I’ve seen people with SoundCloud on there CarPlay

SoundCloud is now compatible with CarPlay. At the time of recording it wasn’t 🙂
What about getting RUclips on the CarPlay app?
It’s not possible. RUclips music can be downloaded though 😊
