    Thanks for the shoutout brother, finally catching up with the videos I missed. I hope you managed to get your net back. Trying my best to find time to "fish" for some black bear 😂

      Catch 120. No pedals. No motor. Just a paddle. But so much fun. 🎣

      You are the champ brother. I'm just glad the fish are still around for now. Definitely was worried they winter killed. Used to be much more quality fish, but there are many small ones. Lake might make a comeback. Thanks for watching bro. 🎣

    I know this lake and where it is, just curious - does it get overgrown with weeds later in the summer?

    • @addictedangler4770
      @addictedangler4770  3 месяца назад

      It's brutal yes. Need to get at least 100 feet off shore to fish.

    Interesting video kinda curious though what lake in central alberta is open for pike fishing before May 15th. And i think those mud boils are from prussian carp feeding on the vegetation and the pike are eating the carp That woukd be the only lake i can think that isnt under regulation and would allow for pre may 15th post spawn pike fishing.

      This lake isn't even listed on regulations. That's the best I can do. Posting names of lakes is a death sentence for a fishery. This particular body of water has been pounded already. People taking fish over 40" which pisses me off. But I've heard stories from locals of some having 7 pike on this ice, all over 40". Unless it's a stocked fishery, I will never post the name of the lake. Thanks for watching my friend. Look me up on Facebook. Maybe we can chat
      Glenn McNeil.

      To add to what Glenn said, the regs state that all lakes, except those listed in the zone PP2 table, are open year round for fishing. Limit is three pike over 63cm. Personally I'd like to see a zero limit on this lake.
