As far as I remember it was a Chili Powder trinket only thing back in the AB+ release of the mod and I also couldn't spawn them with the debug console, which both made me jump to the wrong conclusion, sry ;P
I think the reason why half black hearts don't exist in the base game is that depending on what health you have, the effect might get nullified. If you have half a black heart and pick up another, you'll still do the room damage effect only once.
Could be a strategy to leave the other half black heart on the floor in-case you lose the one you already have, if you don't take damage then just take both before going to the next floot to get more hp

They're essentially treated as if they're the same pool of health edit: Half black hearts do have a niche use though. as long as you collect it while having all whole hearts, you have a black heart. a strategy could be not picking up any health until you finish a floor and then collecting half soul/half black hearts in such a way you get the most black hearts possible.
Half black hearts can combine with half a soul heart to become a full black heart, though. I think if you combine two half black hearts, it should become a dark heart. A dark heart gives you a damage boost while it's the heart at the front of the health bar, and functions as a black heart.
You should do the alt horsemen mod, it adds unique versions of the 4 horsemen we know in Isaac, but don’t forget to show the alt floor variant (dross, ashpit, & genhalla)
It also should be noted that some of these pickups have to be unlocked by completing FF's "achievements" (or by unlocking them in the mod menu, if you're too lazy to do it the hard way)
I don't even play Isaac curently and have not tried fiend folio yet, but I still enjoy watching your videos whenever i get them recomended. Also I feel like the quality of your videos has increased alot, especially since you started doing voice overs instead of just the text.
Any dlc? Repentance added all of the tainted characters, mother and beast, plenty of new items and trinkets, and new music/voice acting / cutscenes. I love fiend folio but to say it has more than repentance feels like reaching too far. Regardless it is an amazing amount of content.

If, though it's not going to happen, the game developers decided they liked fiend folio and added it to the next update would you say the same thing again? I also wasn't able to spawn them with the console, they would always turn back into regular keys instantly. Could ofc be a console problem but those 2 things made me draw that conclusion. So sorry if that's the case ^^' The copper Bombs however do ofc spawn normally either way, I never said anything otherwise.

I dunno, this synnergy is so niche that its barely worth it, especially since they only work for the floor you picked them up unless you have backpack moving box wich makes them pretty much more dangerous micro batteries

Got lucky and found a glass D6 and so I dropped everything in the secret room and re-rolled and I found the D infinity. Was pretty nice.

You may also mention that, there arcade layouts with coloured key blocks. While there are no puzzle keys, you may win them in key bum game which always spawn in these type of layouts
I had a bug where lego studs caused perfection to not appear at the third floor boss (I picked it up with a tainted lost and no mantle), so keep that in mind. I don't know if it can destroy perfection though

Important to note that the honey penny effect carries between rooms (I didn’t know that until I played it)
It _also_ causes your tears to become honey'd, occasionally slowing down enemies they hit.
The storage battery can also be used to overcharge your active item (giving it a max of 3 extra charges past full)
From my experience, the honey penny also granted slowing tears

Yeah, I think you can encounter them normally. I played with a friend who had fiend folio and we found the spicy keys without the trinket.

Just a tip, if you find endless nameless and a storage battery you can spam the storage battery to duplicate it. Pretty nice.

The fake damage still counts as normal damage, wich CAN destroy perfection and prevent it from spawning, its not a bug :). I think.
