Perfect! Thank you so much. Most tutorials only teach how to tag entire clips, but this is exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks, just really getting started after 50 years of being away from video editing. Good suggestions for organization. Like your delivery. Being a former educator I like your calm, not so fast instruction style.

Thank you. Was not aware that you could do this. Being able to favorite clips ala Final Cut Pro and filter them with metadata would be an amazing addition to DR but in the meantime, this is fantastic.

thanks this really helped improve my workflow! Do you know if there is any method to convert the clips in these bins into individual files? So far I have tried File>Media Management but that didnt work for me and it seems to be very unreliable according to some comments I've seen on some videos

DR most definitely needs a "preview and trim before import" function. Final Cut has this feature and it keeps original file sizes manageable. You trim out the small section, choose to save as new original and import, choose to delete original long clip if necessary, etc. What if you only want 10 secs of 15 minutes of worthless video. In DR this can be done, but waay too many clicks.
