For poison, I think peat blocks count and you can find those things on moonbrooke where the airforce monster base is located. Also there is a poison liquid spot in furrowfield where you go to get the first blueprint for the tree after the boss destroys the old tree. Also many tablet targets need to be done post game when you have access to everything, if you get all the malhalla and skelkatraz mosters to join you in the end game where multiple buildertopia islands open up and give you access to the special code, you get your monster pals, you get 11/12 jobs unlocked and get all monsters. Only the elder is missing not sure why Molly does not count. You can also trowel lava blocks for the lava to avoid needing the liquid.
You would think that I would know how to do this challenge after completing the game 5 times but I always forget this part, always lol, thanks Ben, gonna watch this video again.
Thank you for making all those videos. There aren't any better guilds on this game. What about making video's over the best way to defend the bases (furrowfield, khrumble dun, Moonbrooke and malhalla)? Let's see if there are more ways to defend then building a giant hole or wall.
Walls don't really work for the most part as some stronger monsters, especially giant monsters, can smash through them. The only material that cannot be destroyed is Obsidian or Basalt, which is not on Furrowfield. :(
@@christiangroff7116 True, and that's why i'm looking for different options. Bramble barely works and you have to wait for the traps till Moonbrooke. I tried the broken Floorboards for a pittfal, but that didn't work and next on the list is a waterfall that constently pushes the monsters away. I'm really looking for creative ways and i'm hoping Ben makes a video sharing his ideas.
Oh btw, to anyone wanting to remove ALL sea water they can, I recommend using lava, just make sure to keep the pools small and as far down as you can reach, you'll figure out why if you ignore my advice, also slap some any block except chert down outside the pool to prevent it spreading where you don't want it too, for some reason they're immune to lava unless you place them directly in lava
you actually dont need any dyes to complete the colors target. you can just plant all the colored flowers and i'll work: the Furrowfield 3, the blue & green from Blossom Bay,black and purple from Laguna Perfuma, red from the one with battlefield earth.
Big thank you 😊 you videos help us finish all blue red green my kids very happy 😆 ,we just start play is game because we just have switch take a break from xboxone 😅,happy new year2022 🎊🎉to you and family too ⭐️🤗👍🏼
There's a ps4 trophy for completing the first 3 targets at cerulean steppe, called 'a steppe ahead'- build the castle, make a snowfield, build traps to defeat monsters. But after completing them, I didn't get the trophy. I got the trophies for completing the first 3 targets at the other locations, but not at cerulean steppe. I even got the trophy for completing 30 tablet targets, and I've also completed the story. Have i got to replay the game from the beginning for just one trophy, or is there a way to force it to pop?
Sorry😅 I was asking how you managed to get other amphora in your inventory bar? Is it a mod? I am currently doing a big project for the island of awakening where I have found a lot of help on your video 👍 (especially the secret passage system with the magnets 😉). Come and take a tour on occasion😁
I has question about Willagers. _CAN_ you send them back to the other continents you got them from or no? (Like send them back to Furrowfield, Krumbles, and Moonbrooke) If you can, *BOY HOWDY* do I have more plans! :D!! If not, well plurp. :/
@@BenXC You can send the named NPCs like Rosie back home with the register after the story is complete. I might do that with some of them like Babs as I feel like they should go back home once they've helped you. For generic residents, however, you can only dismiss them and they are removed/deleted. If you want to keep them, you need to move them to a Buildertopia if you don't want them on your Isle. Monsters also disappear so you'd have to re-recruit them from their respective isles if you want them back. Hope that helps.
Just wanted to thank you for your excellent videos. Found this gem of a game no more than 2 weeks ago. On 2nd playthrough.
Perfect timing! I just got done with Moonbrooke. Your guides are a great help!
Same

Wow these videos are so much easier to reference than I thought. They are organized extraordinarily well!

Thank you very much for all these vids Ben ! You have been such a major help :)

Glad to see you back playing more dqb2
I was waiting for the finale! Thanks Ben
Thanks for the videos! That really will help me when I am doing my next platinum run of this game. I love this game! ^_^

You're very welcome :) glad you enjoy the game so much 😊 also a happy new year to you and your family. And never stop building :D
I've just been to your island and wow 😨 is all I can say, the detail is incredible
how do i go to the island i know it's by the code but how and thank u :)
My god 2 years later I still learn more depth to this game 😬😬😬
I've completed all the tablet targets but can't figure out how to use the Buildnoculars
Hey Sara you need to shortly press the L3 button (press in the left analog stick), then it switches in and out of the buildnocular mode :)
Can't wait to play this on pc when it comes to xbox gamepass
@@borapay May 3rd for games pass on pc :)
thnx soo much the poison swamp had me bummed
There is construction outside my window too!
Your videos are great
Nice Octopath Traveler music
Thank you! I thought it was pretty fitting :)
@@BenXC Also I found out just now there's a run button in this game from your video... I've played for like 27 hours now and just found out...
May I ask does the chest dupe still work? Like the chest only no food bowl or anything, I can’t get it work on the first islands bulb

The game is a bit odd in that regard. I think the trophy will be unlocked when you go to the next story chapter. Or have you been there yet?
How can we copy your rooms layout? Is there a video on how?
Yes, here at 9:09
ruclips.net/video/qllryN0hZ0U/видео.html
Or instead of using snow blocks, use dirt blocks and the powie will change it anyways
wait how do you have multiple bottomless pot?
Hey i have a question
Is there a way to build things without using resources?
Like Minecraft creativemode?
Ben up in here runnin' game on nuns.
Bonjour, comment a il fait pour avoir plusieurs amphore dans son inventaire ?
In english please? :)

So its implied that we can "Finish" the castle ourselves?
Yeah that's how they imagined it. Unfortunately most people just leave it as it is (including myself 😅🙈)
@@BenXC I'm a veteran at building games and to scratch my itch i *must* complete it.
Haha I totally get that :D
Just tried the island code and it doesn’t work
Hey there BenXC, what's your friend code so that we can play co-op
Hey Carvie thanks for asking but unfortunately I don't have time to play co-op 😉
@@BenXC it's just that your my go to guy when I need help on dqb2 and like your accent
Bro it says invalid password
Password for what? 👀
@@BenXCFor the rooms' tablet targets, I thought it was a password in the Buildertopia, not noticeboard. It was a mistake on my part.
Your accent sounds kinda german idk why lol
because you are right
