I’m really hoping for a builders 3 because this game is awesome and what I call a forever game because you can play it for years and still go back to it. Great videos Ben, this one taught me a lot thanks x
Totally agree. I've played though this game several times - just finished another run a few days ago. I also very highly recommend Immortals: Pheonix Rising; it plays a lot like Breath of the Wild but with *VASTLY* improved mechanics. I loved it so much I literally played through the entire game twice, back-to-back. I recommend the Gold edition for the expansions. Buy it direct from Ubisoft and it's only $24 for Gold. Fantastic game: goofy, funny, layer armor/weapons/wings/mounts, gyro controlled arrows, Greek Mythology, excellent story, clever puzzles - it's amazing. It *shits* on BotW in nearly every aspect. Magnificent game. Cheers.
@@KalinGames526 That's not an argument, chuckles. You have to explain *how* I'm exaggerating - and I'm not. This video was a great help! Somehow it just never occurred to me that I could multiply seeds using the killing machines, even though I did know they could plant multiple plots with a single seed. I always just went back to explorers shores when I needed more seeds...
Cool, I had a similar plan a ways back, though haven't had time to implement, as a way to redo my IoA farms, and remove the "rooms" Only mine was to use tiered floors, using the space-age blocks as exterior walls for the farming level, and glass, like a greenhouse of sorts, with large easy access stairs for the robots and farmers, and an area that comprised 6 farms on each floor with a path in between them. I swear, DQB3 needs a separate bag for farming, food, and drink.
Ben the spawn rate is also effected by the field quality, I generally just max out the stars with gold walls, get LOADS that way, *Edit: also I don't think that seed thing is a glitch, I just shove alll my seeds in wait for them to plant and just dig up after, still works so I think it's intentional

I also have a question. Do you use certain islands for certain things. Like is this a buildertopia island set up just for gradtitude farming? Will this work as long as I haven’t cooked rice or more berry on this specific island?
I have different islands but more like one that resembles Hyrule and has builds that other players can copy, and the one with the gratitude farm where I occasionally build things :) and unfortunately, what you have cooked already is bound to your save file.
Where do you get every crop in the game? Although I finished the game and completed every Explorer’s Shores checklists, I still haven't found all of them. Please help me!! (Sorry for my bad English)
BenXC I have Wheat, strawberry, tomato, sugarcane, cabbage, Pumpkin, Potato, leek, Melon, Sweetcorn, Chili and aubergette. I don't have Butterbean, coffee and heatroot.
The furrowfield quest line explains the basic idea of farming, but I never knew about a crop limit since I was at a time filling a buildertopia or my isle of awakening with a large number of farms and wonder why they weren't doing certain crops. Eventually I took control of farming myself and removed all the scarecrows. I would make farms made purely out of the special shiny crops and farms made out of the regular crops. Talking about moreberries, why my dogs won't give birth to offspring when playing on pc maybe using cheat engine to give myself the ultimallet early causes a problem? It is for being able to complete that annoying tablet target...
Ahoi BenXC, first: yes I do like your videos, so don't be sad. You gave me quite some great ideas for my game by now (especially meatfarming and pet breeding). But actually I wanted to ask, were did you get the "short" white dress and the swimmsuit with the bow on top for your NPC's. Are they DLC only? Because I couldn't find any info on the internet so far on them. Btw. did you ever consider making a video on all the obtainable outfits (cosmetics, dresses, armors, weapons etc,)?
Thank you Melfice :) I think they are from the aquarium DLC (swimsuit) and the modernist DLC (white dress). And that's not a bad idea to show all outfits in the game 🤔
@@BenXC Thank you for your answer. So I do have to get the DLC's... Well, I was planing on getting them anyways^^ but now I have one more reason for it^^ Thanks
We don’t really that many gratitude points anymore once we’ve unlocked everything. I mean, you can buy stuff with it after, but you can also just as easily get the stuff yourself. Or am I missing something?
I figured out the Blueprint Farm method all of two days ago. I'm slapping myself for not figuring it out sooner. That said, I'm quite proud in my use of blueprints to straighten up the Pyramid top. (A small part of tier three and a full half of the topper.) Seriously, how did that get through Playtesting?
Once you have cooked a recipy, your villagers can cook it too. So if you build the kitchens and fill the chest with what you want them to cook with they will cook for themselves (and you lol) That's why he said not to cook the strawberry or the rice on its own. If your character does not know that rice on its own makes good bread, and strawberry on its own makes I think, seared fruit. Then they will never cook a strawberry on its own, or try to make bread from the rice. The pastry pasty fruit pie is better than the bread made from rice.
Hey, Ben XC how do you get the timbered blocks in terra incognita. I know this has nothing to do with the 2nd game but I can’t find anyone who says how to get it. I want to build how the houses used to look.
Normally you can build them at the miner's refiner or builders workbench and there's also a portal that leads you to an island that has a timbered house at the end.
Er, you don’t need a moreberry to make a finest fruit pie. A normal strawberry or normal melon will do. It’s the rice that is needed to boost it to a two star pie.
Are you sure? Normally Strawberries are 0 star items, Moreberries 1 star, Wheat 0 stars, Rice 1 star, So 1 star + 1 star = 2 stars. Don't know any recipe where 0 star plus 1 star equals 2 stars items.
I believe that rice is a 2-star item, since cooking it by itself results in the 2-star bread (yeah, I ignored your advice, oh well). Buckwheat seems to be the 1-star grain.
BenXC sorry for the late reply! Strawberries and melons are one star fruits and rice is a two star grain. I’ve tested it many times with the same results of a finest fruit pie.
