45:40 You can actually make a 5x5x5 block, dig two blocks down into the middle, and the paint can will still convert them all. So even more blocks (123) than what's in the video (99).
idk if it's a requirement for the hair or not, but I did four rooms at once for the room preference. I think I read somewhere about needing 3. I don't know what it was about, but I was specifically looking up the hair unlock requirements and decided "why not try" since making a temporary room for requirements is easier than trying to actually design a functional and stylish room you'll keep that meets the requirements. Since Lulu, Malroth, Gerome, and Jeremiah all have the exact same requirements for room preferences (large room, high but not maximum fanciness, cool ambience), you can build a large room out of gold bricks (for the "cool" ambience and for fanciness) or another fancy material and then put two different types of tiles for the floor (I used wooden blocks and just some strange sand to mix natural and, I think, normal ambiences so they wouldn't overwhelm the cool ambience as well as them being low fanciness so it didn't make the room a 4-star fanciness rating, as that's past what any of the four residents actually wants and doesn't fulfill the requirement). If you have all four nameplates up before you finish the floor or putting the door on, you'll get them all unlocked at the same time. I guess if you wanted to farm hearts you could keep it, but I don't mind taking my time in that department, I just wanted the tablet targets and other unlockables (I really dislike that you basically get no hairstyles until post-game with the exception of a couple hats or DLC, which I don't own yet on my platform of choice). Maybe you'd know better if there's any reason to do all four at once, but I figured I'd share my info just in case it actually is beneficial. Either way, it's super easy to do even if you only want to fulfill one person's requirements, because I was trying to fix up my Furrowfielders' houses to make them happy and it just wasn't working with the designs I had already in place and I wasn't scrapping it just to get a few more points of Gratitude out of them. They're smaller and a bit hard to see into, but I mostly like how they are.
I just realised, there's a better place for the spike traps... & zap traps to speed things up.... maybe some automated icetraps too, where the dragons sit, slap the floating roof somewhere nearby and might actually get a lot of dragon meat. Gonna go try that now... after killing the guys 1st **Edit:** Unfortunately no speed up on the dragon that I was able to discern, from what I can tell it takes about a in-game week before it respawns, also the most effective trap I've tried on it is the gargoyle, quite literally spawn camped :)

49:48 For me, I can safely say that the wallflowers don't matter. Maybe the Malhalla plants, but I doubt it. Nor do the vines like Wisteria. Pongsettia I had but didn't place down, so that's not important either. I didn't have *any* of those on my island at all when I got this. I had Holy Hock, a single Sunflower and Gladiolus, and I believe Holy Hock specifically popped up the notification for progress when I used it, so that's likely a requirement. The last one to complete it for me seemed to be the Tingleweed "flower" that grants the paralysis cure recipe. It blossomed at the exact same time as one of the colored flowers, but I am fairly certain I already had all of those planted. I only planted extras just to be doubly sure and the Tingleweed was among the last that I planted. You get Tingleweed from the post-game Explorer's Shores based on Malhalla. Specifically the Defiled Isle. If anyone can with 100% certainty correct anything I've added, I'd appreciate it. Both for my own benefit on future playthroughs and for posterity in case anyone is confused and is reading this for help.
6:22, I just do it up above the hermit, I think it was possible to reach the hidden entrance of the hidden temple at the start of the game also so can just go down there and build, failing there just go right to the edge of the map where the sea goes almost as low as the bottom of the map

Question: End gamewise, can you send your Willagers back to the other continents, or do they stay on the Isle of Awakening for good? Why I ask, is I wanna send Lulu to Moonbrooke.
Lulu's and Malroth's home island is Isle of Awakening, all others you can send to their respective islands.
@@BenXC Nice! This'll make things fun then! I was gonna send Lulu to Moonbrooke, even though she's not from there, to become Princess Laura's handmaiden.
Ben, i used the code and it didn't work.....and i friended you on Facebook to try to contact you more better but you didn't respond back to my friend request
Hmm here's the code and it's online:
npyrd8ZJVM
en.dragonquest-builders.com/detail/?c=npyrd8ZJVM
You need to press pause inside the noticeboard and enter the ID, or what did you try to do?
Couldn’t get it to work now either. Been a year and on steam though nothing has said codes are console exclusive. Thought maybe it’s because I hadn’t visited my own yet and when you do the next time you click buildertopia you are told about the password system but I still get the same invalid code message. Guess I’ll have to do the work myself, 😅
I just noticed you said noticeboard not brownbeard. Trying there. Yep that works, amazing how much easier things are when you learn to read. 😅
