Funny enough, true story. I used to know someone who used to role play in fivem. He was a car mechanic, and he would probably spend most of the days waiting to help people with their vehicles. He's told me that there was a point he waited for almost 5 hours in real time for a customer. It's dedicated and love into what they love doing
There is no lawsuit incoming, the people making this are in China, they aren't subject to US laws or rulings, China steals IP all the time. At 5:31 in the video those beach Umbrellas are exact replicas of the beach umbrellas from the GTA6 Trailer. They're literally stolen IP from Rockstar for their own trailer, they don't care about US lawsuits in China.
Ultimately the dream of all of the people hyped by these projects is to be able to get in on the ground floor and be able to make money from being first. They don't care about the gameplay, the story, anything to do with the game, they just want to be able to have passive income by being the first to pick up the bag.
Why are they using the Epic Games logo ? They can use Unreal (if it's the engine) or the Epic Store (if they sell it there) but not just the plain logo unless Epic Games is directly associated with it ... which I don't think is the case.
I think there's a way to just... Automatically add AI to unreal projects, so I imagine they wouldn't waste $7 to pay someone to fake something they can do for free easily.

The opening shot of that trailer where they do a flyby down the street.... that looks like the corner noodleshop from yakuza:like a dragon (I mean that entire flyby looks like it came from Yakuza) and the followup shot where they fly past that big building; I think it's the academy from Yakuza too (where you can take courses to increase your stats)
1:57 Yeah, you're very much not allowed to do that in most places, I believe. Johnny Somali is being charged in South Korea for deep faking an influencer into being his girlfriend, she is also suing him, among charges for other things. I know this is a little different but it definitely falls into the same "definitely not allowed" territory regarding likeness.
Just want to point out that RUclipsr Jetro did a deep dive on this "game" and the amount of red flags is insane, maybe even worse than Day Before. From assets ripped from GTA (the minimap in one scene and the Sol Sisters umbrellas from the GTA 6 trailer), them lying about who's involved (none of the influencers have said anything about this "game" and even Epic Games confirmed that they have no idea who or what this company is), the "group" working on the game having zero proof of actually exsisting outside a name (only the lead dev only revealed their face), the list goes on. They're even hiding the fact that they have cryptocurrency in the game just to be able to list it on Steam and Epic Games
This feels like a Lonely Island song. "So, what do you do in Paradise?" "Me? Well, I.. Robbed a gas station! Failed completely. Hit on a girl! She told me off. Tried to buy a gun! Guy had no idea. Scoped out some boobs! Got called a creep. Tried the gun again! 'Stay in your lane' he said. And that's how it ends!" "So you fail at everything you try and then it cuts to black?" "Yea, that's Paradise!"
"Realistic" cuts to people walking in the middle of a crossroad... This reminds me of a UE tech demo with AI powered NPC's that came out a year or two ago, except worse looking. The "gameplay" video is outright hilariously bad, even for a student doing it on a weekend it's too embarrassing. What I like the most are the subtitles with one or two words per row of text.
sunny/storm vids had the same planes in the sky. def a set piece with different weather plugins. period. next vid driving had no one walking around; they looked like mannequins. another set piece
The 5 min NPC part was kinda impressive. -First he try to rob the shop. -> He can't. -He asked a drink from the lady there. -> She didn't bought it to him -Asked the black guy for a gun. -> No gun. -He asked Christy for tits. -> No tits :S -Asked the black guys again for a gun. -> Still no gun. I mean if he wanted to demonstrate that you literally can't get anything from these NPCs then great success I guess.
And you just walk up to random npcs, hold down the talk button and then your guy just... says random things? There's no dialogue options or suggestions as to what you'll say, he just randomly, robs, asks for guns or favor or asks about random shit? It's like someone whose never seen a dialogue system before trying to imitate what it would be like.
We all know the trailer is fake, but honestly if you can slap a trailer like this together, go all out. Make a channel that’s advertising obviously fake games, have fun, show me those bad phone game ads bumped up to 11 and collect the RUclips ad revenue from making silly game ad parodies.
chat GPT npc going to be like open world procedural games , it sounds cool but only good devs can make it work , this trailer shows it all , dialogue without substance , why even have dialogue where npcs dont react to anything said.
The thing is that the way AI works it wouldn't be able to do stuff like give you money from the register if you go and say you're robbing the place, it wouldn't do that unless it was programmed to have that response, because you'd need assets like the code to give the player money, the animation for it, and I'm guessing a system where the NPC would call the cops. That's why the guy just responds calmly and asking to solve the situation peacefully, if you pushed it further you'd just go around in circles, or he'd eventually say "alright have the money and leave" and nothing would happen. It amazes me how technobros would swear up and down on AI without even understanding what it can do and its limits
IF they just release the beach map with everything they promising build up from that this can get real. First the beach, then downtown, suburbs etc. They could make this real but we all know how this works
This whole AI powered NPCs thing still feels like a solution looking for a problem to me. Why would I want to engage with these randomly generated extras? All they need to do in an open world game is to respond to the world in a convincing way to feel realistic. (flinching at distant gunfire, running away from threats, responding to aggression etc) Being able to talk with them is just fannying about.
I'm not saying using pre-made assets are bad, but it's bad when I can recognize the exact assets pack by name because they are placed into this game as is, without any changes, from the default project showcase files and their store screenshots. The multilevel storefronts at 1:16 is literally call "Storefronts" on Kitbash 3D, the same kit can be seen at 2:12 but other ground assets are clipping into the curb of the Kitbash 3D sidewalk asset. The downtown at 1:20 is "Small Town Stores - Modular Pack" from the Unreal assets store (now call Fab store).

Gamers aren't as smart as popular knowledge may suggest.
Gamers aren't as smart as gamers would like to believe. FTFY
Not saying gamers are the brightest, but is anyone (positively) losing their mind over this yet? I have only seen doubts or outright hate so far.
@@Lenariet I'm sure there's some small group that is hyped for this.
Personally, I was just making fun in general, because The Day Before got to be the most wishlisted game because gamers, as a broad audience, are just that easy to manipulate.
12:44 ya hear this frickin AI voice all over.. Even Dr. Squatch soap uses it in ads.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s even the Day Before devs. They slithered off and enough time has gone by that they might be reanimating in another form.
"I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to do that" oh yeah, when has ethics ever stopped crypto/AI grifters ever?
I know that some people are REALLY into their roles in RP games, but how many "real gamers" will sit for hours to act like a NPC in a street when a rando guy pass by?
Funny enough, true story. I used to know someone who used to role play in fivem. He was a car mechanic, and he would probably spend most of the days waiting to help people with their vehicles. He's told me that there was a point he waited for almost 5 hours in real time for a customer. It's dedicated and love into what they love doing
nowaying "advance technology", "ultra technologies" we need more technologies in our games
I want technologies in my ass as well as my games
Neotechnology?
Paratechnology?
Take a look at this Omega Technology in my Omega Game, with Omega AI, Omega Graphic, and Omega Level Storytelling
Rockstar sweating after this game trailer dropped.
I doubt it they are definitely laughing at this
@@NappyRB laughing as much as they will be can be called a good form of cardiovascular exercise, so they could well be sweating. Just not with fear.
@@NappyRB Dude learn to read sarcasm.
Maybe its real, its just an interactive alien training program to talk to humans?
For what? Are they coming here to breed with hoomans?
Who would've thought that Kira could do a dope ass Igor impression?
Aye, that was on point. Flawless.
🤣
1:54 yeah this is a lawsuit incoming
Friendo! Why is there a 20 second pause between people talking ? The dialog is soooo bad as well.
If its really ai it prolly waiting to load a response to your option but man imagine if this small area took this long to load these imagine middle of the crowded area if it really work like they say lol
10:18 Is that AI voice that all the RUclips Shorts use, but tweaked. It’s from Eleven Labs.
Such compelling dialogue in this game. Drew me right into the "buy me a drink" storyline....i was on the edge of my seat. That convenience store scene really taught me how to experience love
The underwater part during the storm probably just looks like it did in the daytime clip so can't show that lol
I love how dude threatend to shank the storekeeper and everyone is like... okay cool.
The Counter NPC looks like he's about to ask you if you know john connor lmao
I love that the shopkeeper has an Indian accent, but just some random white guy model.
Check out the speedometer when he's driving lol
Lol it was reading over a hundred when he was backing up.
Man, Unreal Engine's back must be killing after this.
It's bad enough to be real, but not good enough to want.
This feels like a Lonely Island song.
"So, what do you do in Paradise?"
"Me? Well, I.. Robbed a gas station!
Failed completely.
Hit on a girl!
She told me off.
Tried to buy a gun!
Guy had no idea.
Scoped out some boobs!
Got called a creep.
Tried the gun again!
'Stay in your lane' he said.
And that's how it ends!"
"So you fail at everything you try and then it cuts to black?"
"Yea, that's Paradise!"
Did anyone else also notice that the car in the last trailer is parked in a different way than when he left it at the supermarket??
"Realistic" cuts to people walking in the middle of a crossroad... This reminds me of a UE tech demo with AI powered NPC's that came out a year or two ago, except worse looking. The "gameplay" video is outright hilariously bad, even for a student doing it on a weekend it's too embarrassing. What I like the most are the subtitles with one or two words per row of text.
sunny/storm vids had the same planes in the sky. def a set piece with different weather plugins. period.
next vid driving had no one walking around; they looked like mannequins. another set piece
Also the plane looked kinda weird, like ai generated if it's possible
The 5 min NPC part was kinda impressive.
-First he try to rob the shop. -> He can't.
-He asked a drink from the lady there. -> She didn't bought it to him
-Asked the black guy for a gun. -> No gun.
-He asked Christy for tits. -> No tits :S
-Asked the black guys again for a gun. -> Still no gun.
I mean if he wanted to demonstrate that you literally can't get anything from these NPCs then great success I guess.
@Kira there's a videoby Jetro "exposing Paradise" which demonstrate how this entire thing is a scam
Sorry Sorry, this is really out of nowhere.
EVERY FISH IN THE OCEAN IS A KOI CARP
12:45 he drove next door twice
8:47 Why are you robbing a convenience store when you have $50,000
And you just walk up to random npcs, hold down the talk button and then your guy just... says random things? There's no dialogue options or suggestions as to what you'll say, he just randomly, robs, asks for guns or favor or asks about random shit? It's like someone whose never seen a dialogue system before trying to imitate what it would be like.
Gonna call it now: theyre gonna get the name copyright claimed
Nah.. This is totally real. No red flags at all! 💀
Take a close look at the 2nd video at them umbrellas, where is that logo been seen at?? You guessed it, GTA 6 trailer!!
We all know the trailer is fake, but honestly if you can slap a trailer like this together, go all out. Make a channel that’s advertising obviously fake games, have fun, show me those bad phone game ads bumped up to 11 and collect the RUclips ad revenue from making silly game ad parodies.
you can tell they didn't get a native English speaker to write or approve the english trailer.
Or indeed any English speaker
The Scam After the Scam Before. As people have said, we'll see an infinite amount of these with the Asset Store being what it is.
Oh it's already SO much worse that what you've outlined here Kira... Russian crypto, company not really existing, and AI "leadership" in HK.
The "Ultra" part of the name and purple colors make me think Saints Row.
2:08 you can't, not even in china
1:58 you’re an influencer, get in on it. I want to talk to bad AI Kira.
chat GPT npc going to be like open world procedural games , it sounds cool but only good devs can make it work , this trailer shows it all , dialogue without substance , why even have dialogue where npcs dont react to anything said.
0:22 why is the taxi so much longer😭
that radio music is 100% AI generated
Yep. Using Suno ai. It's free to use so the devs easily added more slop haha
Should check out the video Jetro has made on this. goes pretty in depth with the the scam and who the company is (or isn't).
Btw guys, if you didn't catch it, the blue beach umbrellas are a ripoff straight from the GTA VI trailer
We soooo back boys, Let´s go.
7:46 Pretty sure that rap song was AI as well.
The first video said play now at the end and yet the steam page say coming soon to early access. That guy was under water too long lmao.
I'm sold on the voice acting alone.
Everyone talks just like that irl.
IF they just release the beach map with everything they promising build up from that this can get real. First the beach, then downtown, suburbs etc. They could make this real but we all know how this works
The dog conversation was sure something omg
That car was going 130 MPH in no time flat going from one driveway to the next. 🤨
Why is the audio so bad on this video (edit) it went back to normal after the first video he was reacting to was over
What I notice is its literally gta5 map but they got AI to redesign it 😂
This whole AI powered NPCs thing still feels like a solution looking for a problem to me. Why would I want to engage with these randomly generated extras? All they need to do in an open world game is to respond to the world in a convincing way to feel realistic. (flinching at distant gunfire, running away from threats, responding to aggression etc) Being able to talk with them is just fannying about.
LOL
I'll make sure to steer clear of this IF its real... Crypto?
I smell money laundry scheme in this.
