- This OH32N01 caravan is such a complex little thing. It took 3 long days to complete, with a full range of emotions from RAGE, disbelief, hatred, confusion and finally love! I can’t stand caravans, and don’t understand where one fits in to rc crawling. But it does have aspects of fun and entertainment when towing and trying to park it. I entered this build hating it, but as the days rolls on and hours and hours of soldering, I have strangely fallen in love with this crazy detailed caravan!

You're looking at this completely wrong. Yeah, it's a caravan. But it's a badass caravan. And parking maneuvers is just so much fun with trailers.
Think of it this way... a lot of car haulers are built from caravan frames. This would make a good one.

I lost my sh!% with those c clips and ended up clipping one end sliding them on and driving a drop of ca glue to lock it in. I also ordered the prewired LED's (from China) and saved a LOT of soldering.
Looks like a great kit tbf, beautiful looking! some folks (me) love scale and I also come from a model making background so I'm pretty used to tiny fings usually in 1/56th so 1/32 is big ))

The lights are by far the hardest part 🤪. It’s a lovely build. Just don’t expect to do it in one day lol.

I know the pain, I made it over a week so I didn't lose too much sanity. The sense of accomplishment after finishing it though. I can see where there would be a niche market within a niche market for this thing, but honestly, I'd actually prefer just the chassis by itself be available for like £20, it would make for a really great base and then we could make our own towing trailers for things like flat bed for cars or boat trailer.
I hear you there mate. I wish they would just stick to vehicles, as you can imagine, the sheer time in design for this thing. must have been a while in the making that could have made a brilliant crawler lol. But after building it and stepping back it is beautiful 😍
Parts are super micro. Extremely difficult to manage. Detail like this need to be in bigger scale. It's only for the utmost patience, not for everyone.

Amazing build. I just ordered one. Hopefully mine will turn out this nice. Question.. did you wire the rear turn signal lights to the running lights on purpose? Or is that in the instructions? I think I'll wire mine to the hazards.
Could pre-wired SMD’s work. I wonder what the size nomenclature sizes up to?
how do you strip the wire? I always have trouble getting that part
Hello sir I plan on buying this nice bit of kit I found some clear super glue that doesn’t leave that nasty residue it’s called gorilla clear glue it takes 2 hours drying time but it’s so worth it

I want to buy the caravan because I have tons of smd lights but I need to buy the cable in bulk what grade size wire is orlandoo wire?
I now use scientific solder through wire. It’s real fine stuff but works. 🤟😎
