    About Telstra Emerging Choreographer (TEC):
New choreography is the lifeblood of The Australian Ballet. Together with Principal Partner Telstra, we’re creating a new pathway for emerging Australian choreographers in all dance styles to develop their skills and foster their talent.
Three finalists, Azzam Mohamed, Glory June Tuohy-Daniell and Yuiko Masukawa were selected by our three judges: The Australian Ballet’s Artistic Director David Hallberg, internationally recognised choreographer Tim Harbour and awarded interdisciplinary artist Sandra Parker.
These finalists were commissioned to create a dance film, based on their application, each receiving $3,000 to create their work. The winner will be announced in November 2023.
