Actually played a rogue, playing DnD for the first time, human Variant yes I know not original but I wanted to get a feat. Used my first feat on healer and with my first 10 gold invested in Health Kits. Became a better healer than 2 clerics. It's an amazing feeling saving the War Cleric from Death Saves while being a better healer and being able to disengage from enemies with cunning Action. *Bonus* Healing Kits have 10 uses EACH!

Clerics, Clerics, Clerics. Healing without spending slots? In the case of Healing Word you can administer healing to 2 party members for the price of 1.

Fighter 2/Grave Cleric -> if you have a permissive DM you could get away with a Healer's kit use and HW+Spare the Dying, two of the former or two of the latter via Action Surge.

My divine soul sorcerer took this feat at level one. Because of this, at 3rd level I can bring 3 people up in one round. This feat is incredibly powerful when put in the right hands, and will certainly help tremendously in a game where you have lots of access to healers kits

Just dreamed up a character and am very glad this feat exists. A surgeon who hates magic; hates the wounds that magic creates, hates the shortcut of using healing magic, hates the fact that they have a suppressed potential for magic. Someone who loves the people around them and values the process of healing a person with their own hands and skill, and lives for the trust and connection to others that that gives them.
The character begrudgingly allows the use of magic from caster party members (a compromised brought on by necessity) but will absolutely despise having magic cast on them for any reason and won't consent unless absolutely unavoidable. For the class I'm thinking a rogue, not original but that's fine. With DM consent the goals for this character will likely be to seek magic items with anti-magic affects like counter-spell or anti-magic field. Also, if the character happens to go through an arc that changes their views, the "budding potential for magic" part of the backstory allows for the potential to multiclass as a proper caster. That might be a nice way for the story to progress, but I'm not planning on it. That budding potential will likely stay repressed forever.

Hello! this sounds like a feat I'll be taking asap. And while the GM has allowed to purchase some extra equipment as long as we furnish the list and get it approved, I fear that if I buy more than two Healer's Kits while I have the feat the GM will raise an eyebrow.

The best class for this feat is the Theif rogue. Multiple allies go down and you can get 2 up with just 2 charges of the healer's kit.
It also allows for you to heal someone without spending your entire turn.

Built a Human Variant Grave Domain Cleric and took this feat and the Hermit background. Spare the Dying at 30 ft, maneuver to the down PC, apply the use of kit. Boom! They're back in the fight. After the fight take a short rest, everyone uses their hit die if needed which resets the kit usage. He also makes healing potions during his down time using the herbalism kit and sells them to the party for 30gp.

Healer is pretty decent low/mid lvl when you have fewer spell slots. At lvl 7 a low roll can still net you 12+hp, which is equal to most 1st/2nd lvl healing spells.

@@TomasPabon you're right and I actually just found one: Life Transferrence from Xanathar. Level 3 Necromancy. Take 4d8 necrotic damage and one ally within 30 ft gains the double in hit points. On one hand this might sound like a trap, on the other there are countless occasions where this might be worth the cost. Keep in mind that Aasimar takes half the damage and therefore their target would only get 50% of the spell's benefits. It's a lower risk, lower reward thing.
