Jess, you’re pure MAGIC! Absolutely LOVE those new watercolor pigments, can’t wait to see what you create! Thank you for showing how each step in an artist’s journey should be savored and experienced deeply. Every moment is if full of beauty and wonder as an artist. Aren’t we so blessed!? Love and appreciate you! 🌞
I want that little sketchbook & palette! Adorbs. I love how you mentioned focusing on your own overall health which in turn helps with life in general but specifically for you-creativity and your art. Burnout, overloaded days, stress, life itself can be difficult at times but it’s our mindset, approach and outlook that can really affect us and staying as grounded and having self love, care and gratitude really does help with any aspect in life. I truly love your art, your channel, and your calming voice is very relaxing & comforting (and for a loud Italian from nyc, your videos & voice are so soothing and tranquil.) I love DS watercolors and they are absolutely worth every cent. There’s something about them that makes my happiness meter amped up & it’s a delight to paint using them. Great haul, I see a gigantic sketchbook in my near future now, lol. Take care!
So nice to see that you're embracing Watercolors more! Muted and opaque Watercolors are definitely amazing to work with for Fall art! So happy to see you swatching! Please share more Watercolor Art 🎨 🙏!!! . Hugs from MA... 🫂
I love Seawhite, their paper is such good quality and beautiful for drawing. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with them. Re: metal palettes, I'd recommend Rosa's as they have room in their centre space for a whole extra row of half pans, and their smaller compact sized palettes also have three rows for paint instead of two, while being exactly the same size shell as the usual metal palettes.
Seawhite brighton have been my fave sketchbooks. Filled the 20 x20 cm square now the 24x 24cm .That huge one looks sooooo awesome! Drooling over the watercolour swatches and jotted down some I have to get myself! I’m a Holbein fan, but with watercolour I find a mix of brands really makes a difference. Can’t wait to see more of these videos!
Hi Jess I love that huge sketch book. But I love the mini ones as well and the tiny palettes are so cute. As for the colours that shell pink got my heart racing. It's gorgeous and those golds. So beautiful for the Autumn months and it's hard to get a lovely gold that shines when it dries so I'll be looking out for these little ones. The Flower Color Guide caught my eye as well. Love this video. It's great to see how these things look on paper before we buy. God bless and big hugs to you and your little Matilda. Love Susan xxxx❤❤❤
I love trying new paint brands. When I first started in watercolor I tried several, fell in love with Schmincke and used that primarily for many years. About a year ago I tried Roman Szmal on a whim. Oh my goodness, it is heavily pigmented and so beautiful! My new favorite.
Ohh wow I’ve had the MaimeriBlu Green Gold that’s my favorite color lately. All of those colors are gorgeous looking especially the granulating colors. I have been using the Frog tape for 4 years & it is definitely my favorite for painting in my sketchbooks, watercolor papers/blocks, watercolor canvas boards. I am definitely curious to see how your sketchbook testing goes & Yes I want to see a video for filling up a new palette with the watercolors! Thanks for sharing this fun art haul with all of us. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Jess, great video...quick suggestion, if we can have a video on finishing an oil painting tips : lint that get stuck during drying time and pls pls on framing thin canvases- am struggling a lot on the same. Thanks...and as always, thanks for sharing positive energy!
Jess, if you like bright colours, really vibrant ones, you would love the Holbein botanical range in particular and also the Paul Rubens professional set.
I have a few Seawhite sketchbooks and my Polychromos are really vibrant on the paper but they don't seem to layer as well as on other brands. I've been working in Strathmore mixed media journals lately and they are pricey but I love the way my favourite media work on the paper (coloured pencil, watercolour pencil, gouache and watercolour). I've just finished a couple of small pieces and the paper took multiple layers of AD watercolour pencil, Polychromos and Luminance, plus gouache highlights I've tried several brands of watercolour paint and I now primarily use Daniel Smith - Jane's Grey is a staple in my muted palette. Indanthrene Blue and Perylene Green are beautiful deep colours that can be used as washes, shadow and distance tones, and they do amazing things when mixed with primaries (IB and Quinacridone Rose make a stunning violet, PG and Lemon Yellow make a really vibrant yellow green). I have looked at the Primatek range longingly but I haven't picked any up yet. Please please please do a video with them so I can see how they work in a piece! Thanks for another great video! ❤
I am definitely interested in some of those watercolors, the little mini palettes, and that awesome pen! 😊 Thank you for another wonderful video my favorite RUclips artist! 🖤🖤🖤

Hullo Jess, I have loved watercolors for many many years, I try new mediums but I am always happy to go back to watercolor painting.
