this deserves sooo much more views...
serious. great game!
The Efren dance alone deserves at least 5M
nope
What a body language at the end from the magician! 😂
Really a great match from both legends. Solving problems like breaking clusters, creating angles and make something from nothing are not easy and requires a lot of practice.
Billy Incardona has always been partial to Reyes. I can't blame him because he has practically covered Bata's entire international career. He watched as Reyes evolved from a legendary shooter from the Philippines, to becoming a lethal hustler in the US pool halls, and onward to becoming the greatest player in the game.
Clark Quismundo, I see you have been following the career and friendship between Billy Incardona and Efren. I missed the times when Billy Incardona and Grady Mathews together comment on matches that have Efren playing. Sometimes Billy would get you thinking that he's ready to get it on with Grady usually over Efren. Hahaha!
i am particial to EF too. i don't know why
You're wrong . In REYES earlier years he was discriminated against that includes Bill. Does he ride a motorcycle?????? They are dangerous. Wouldn't want him to have mishap..
Thank you Accu-Stats for these great videos. Great work.
Much appreciated
What a way to win the match on the break leading 7-6 he is a real joy to watch. THE GOAT
What a way to lose a match. I don't think Immonen missed a single shot.

@@davedave827 a moo see 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
@@davedave827 It only took 1 game where Mika didn't pocket in the break for Efren to win the match. This despite that the only missed shot was by Efren. It goes to show that he can afford to make mistakes, but his opponents must be extra sharp. Efren, of course, the GOAT. Mika is an amazing and accurate player. And I like his calmness and professionalism.
Mika has such good cue ball control, I've heard of him but never cared to watch him play until this match. Man I need more videos of this guy! Great content!!
Thank you again Accu-stats for all this years of great pool!
Our pleasure!

Thank you Accu-Stats for uploading this classic! amazing quality!
Glad you enjoy it!
1:06:01 The commentary on women playing pool almost killed me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmfaoo something you wouldn’t hear on TV today… this young generation is full of ❄️🥹
how time has changed, watching this clip in 2024
There is NO THING as an injustice for a break! It IS what IT IS!
This has to be the best match I have seen here. Remarkable to see two game-breakers in one match. Brilliant!
I love watching these old videos just to hear Billy commentate
Billy is the "Voice of Accu-Stats".
JUST A NOTE HERE; "NOBODY CAN OUT TALK THESE TWO ANNOUNCERS HERE COMMENTING ON EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN EXCEPT POOL"
Bill Incardona is the best.
this one is gold ty :) and props to mr. flemming for extending the broadcast for the full cam capture of that dance of the ages!
Yea, great stuff!
Thank you Accu-Stats for another great match from the past!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is like a boxing match both players taking blows at each other
Never seen this for long time...
Thank you for uploading.
You're welcome
37:00 Reyes makes a great 1 ball shot in the corner pocket for perfect shape on the 8 ball and subsequently the win. The commentators mentioned how excellent the shot speed was for shape on the 8 but failed to say (as is often the case with Efren) that if he missed that shot, the ball would be blocking Mika's 9 ball into the corner pocket, making it much more difficult to run out for the win. This occurs because many commentators are so impressed that Efren made a difficult ball that they are blinded to the fact that it was a two-way shot. Cheers!
That eightball change of style is the only change I like on pool balls. It doesn't matter in person but watching online in low definition it really helps to stick out and not be confused with the 4 or the 2 ball.
@accu-stats Could you please upload the Bustamante vs Griffis match? I want to see how Busty won against Griffis... Thank you in advance!
They're both great players. Excellent match. Thanks Accu.
efren dancing focus 😂 what a great way to end the vid
thank you for putting up all these quality videos on YT
Glad you like them!
Oh gosh his dance.... such a sweetheart he is...😜
Another great vintage match! We need more footage of the young lady racking! Thanks Pat!
Working on it!
GREAT match!!!
My 2 favorite players of all time, Mika Immonen and Efren Reyes!!!😎🎱
Using both left and right hands. Amazing. (40 minute mark). Go Efren!
Hi Accu-Stats! Can you please upload videos of Efren playing Straight Pool?
In time, we will.
@@AccuStats That would be awesome!! Looking forward to that. Thank you!
1:16:39 that guy had to tell the ball rack lady to go and shake the players’ hands. I guess she must be new😂
Another great match. Thanks guys
Our pleasure!
1:17:59 Efren: It was Lucky. Humility is the crowning Glory :)

It goes to show that he can afford to make mistakes, but his opponents must be extra sharp. Efren, of course, the GOAT. Mika is an amazing and accurate player. The commentator (Tony) who said it was sociological is very smart. I like him. Thank you for not being a complete and total dingbat. I promise you i will smoke half the bozos in this comment section
Pat Fleming should have gave Scott Smith a raise not only was Scott the tournament director and referee he was also an unofficial member of the commentary team
i know it wont happen but i want to see johnny archer, earl strickland, Mika, efren reyes on a team together
What a finish. Great pool
Mika Immonen is physically stronger than every woman who ever lived? A well thought out argument there. That bit didn't age well. Props to the other commentator.
Yeah lol don't even need to break that hard with the templates to make a ball
Although I do wonder why there are no women over 800 Fargo
Idk I haven't seen any that can break at over 24mph....
Seemed to age just fine. Men still lopsidedly dominate the top 100, 500, and likely 1000 players in the world. Only 1 woman (actually Allison Fisher) is even in the top 100.
Truly , what a treasure !
We agree!
that match is one of the graetst matchs
Çok harika bir büyük Oyuncu🎉🎉🎉tebrikler,Saçlarínîz beyazladı ama hep daha fazlası var,,,Germany Köln gelecemmi birdaha
I wonder if these commentators have won anything, at the local level?
lmfao just directed a friend to the dance 😂😂😂 efren is the cutest most humble..,,,,,lolz this was the dawn of mika's salt encrusted whateverness hahahaha
We need the Finals for this Tournament!
It coming.
Anybody who knows Efren, knows that he is true gift to the world of pool. Also everyone knows, he doesn't use bridge and the shorties (jump)
The G.O.A.T. dance 😂😂😂😂
Efren; Yoda of pool.
Could we see the Bustamante match next??
I see that Efren won the tournament, but how did that happen ?
Did Bustamante win against Griffis ?
What happened after ?
Busty beat Griffis making it a tie for 1st requiring a playoff match, and then Reyes beat Griffis in the playoff match.
@@AccuStats Thanks for the reply.
I searched, but couldn't find any info.
I wonder how much Efren ‘tipped’ Busty.
Obviously, the question "who plays pool better, men or women?" cannot be answered by anecdotes and one or two examples/counterexamples. You can only draw a general conclusion after analyzing hundreds of mixed-sex tournaments.
Efren schooled a lot of younger players during his 2-decade reign as the King of Pool (1990's to 2000's). Even playing past his prime, in the early 2010's when he is already a senior citizen, he continues to school young guns and pretenders waiting to take down an old man. He's really the GOAT.
Great match.
La suerte siempre esta con los mejores.
didn't he break the 8ball in against bustie as well? i think i remember seeing that match
36:59 "that's absolutely phenomenal"
cameraman seems obsessed with the hedgehog
You mean Scott"The Shot" Smith
That’s why I’m not a player, I couldn’t adjust to the cloth no matter how hard I tried
Ha Ha Ha, Bill! All of your blustering about the break! And LOOK WHO WON!!! :) :) :)
Can't wait
This time he really "got lucky" 😁👍🏻
- Now, tell me, what woman can break like this!
- Scratch.
@Perci Val Technically it's "everybody" and "women" divisions. As for why "women" division exists at all, I'd say to not discourage those few women that decided to pick up this sport or they'll be railed by average male players otherwise. Now, why not enough women care about this sport, I'd say it's 100% social and not physical as these dumbasses in the video assume. Consider this: even a toddler can do the weak ass snooker break and yet you hardly see any women playing snooker, so it's obviously not about lack of power. Mind you, I'm not saying there is something to fix in this status quo, I have no issues with one gender not giving two shits about other's gender activities.
Match starts 8:40
stupid conversation about women over 2 matches long when 2 of the best players in the world are playing
Neither one of them want to be wrong. That’s why it kept on going. Bone heads
The break at 1:09:10 kind of proved Tony's point that women can compensate for lack of 'power' with technique. With the proper technique, you won't scratch straight in the side off the break like that.
@@CarlCramer88 it's common for pool commentators to talk about women playing. Even the women commentators nowadays will say the same stuff! Wish I had a link to another Efren match where three commentators were present, one of them being a woman, and all three part took in a conversation about women playing pool and how even though they don't have the same touch at the table as men they still have the finesse and knowhow to make their way around the table
@@ChasingChinster You missed the point. The point is that men have a more powerful break than woman regardless. The scratch in the side is inconsequential. Having a more powerful break with a small chance of scratching to the side has a higher percentage of winning. As opposed to having a weak break which has a lower percentage of winning regardless if they use technical abilities to scratch less often.

I'm actually turning off the sound so I don't have to listen to you anymore Bill!
1:00:10 “the way he massages the balls” 🎱🎱
GOAT::: Efren Reyes!!!!
1:00:08 Don't listen to this without context
WHAT WAS THE OLD LADY INHALING in the back ?+?+?+?
Bill is right, ya know.
Every move the commentator says Reyes will do, Reyes does the opposite. Goat
Billiards is one of the few sports where women can contend with men virtually on equal basis.
Sure, the break is a big deal. But it ain't all aboot power. In fact, ER isn't known for a particularly powerful break.
Chicas can very easily beat teh men with good skillz 😸
You are right about that. We now have lots of women playing and they break harder than me. One more thing, to have a good break you also need to have technique and timing.
Pool is not a physical sport... it's certainly not about power. The real masters are the ones like Reyes who have finesse, touch, deft... They only have 'power' as its original sense as the 'ability to see' (all the permutations).
whay they stop useing that ball triangle to rick??? someone help me with that
Eminem you did your thing but Shady you ain't the Magician
"...if he has the ability..." according to the commentator. Wow, how condescending!
1:17:37 👋🏻🎱👄🎱🤚🏻 ......omg!....😂😂😂 his dances are the best! off to the discoteque! ( 1:16:04 )
Efren Reyes the Goat vs "I said nine ball".Efren always kick his ass
Hahaha that's hilarious I'm listening to Danny say watch this watch this no woman could do this and I thought he going to scratch commentars curse haha and he scratched
Mika just made one mistake (scratched) yet he losed the game.
It's crazy right!!! This just proves almost how flawless you have to be
i wonder if effren saw that if he went for the combo on the 15 and 12 if he saw that the 12 mightve got hung up
in the 7 ball some how..because the combo wasnt straight though.
Great match. Efren might have gotten lucky on the 14th rack but he worked hard in running the 13th rack, so it's really skills that won him the game.
That dance at the very end deserves an Emmy nomination! Didn't expect the magician was "that" cool!
31:18 what? cue ball wiggled in place after the stop shot lol
I hate to be rude but one of these announcers really annoys me.
1:00:09 got me dead 😂😂😂😂
the way he massages the balls is so mesmerising for me almost hypnotic
🤣🤣🤣that explains why He was triggered about Billy saying Men are stronger and better breakers then Women lol
I know the woman working the Sardo rack has to be in her 50s by now, but I’ll bet she’s still gorgeous!
Excellent lag from both, Mika's ball was almost on the rail
Alison Fisher would stand no chance in a Professional pool tourny, I have to agree with Bill, even when Jean Balukas was playing, she couldn't beat any of the men on the Pro Billiards Tour, She may have beat Buddy Hall 1 time, out of the 24 times they played
You are WAY wrong. In just two events, Balukas beat Buddy Hall, Steve Mizerak, and Mike LeBron. The Pro Billiards Tour changed their name to Men's Pro Billiards Tour to ban her from playing against men. Ray Martin complained and demanded he play in a women's tournament. She also beat Larry Lisciotti 11-0 in a U.S. Open match. How about those facts Billy?
Not only that, alison fisher plays in pro tourneys and performs well. Your sexism is showing
@@AccuStats I know what im talking about, Like I said, she beat Buddy Hall 1 time out of 24, flukes happen in EVERY sport, 18 point underdogs beat Tom Brady in the freaking Super Bowl 1 time, Jean is the greatest woman player EVER, but if you or ANYONE else think that she or Alison Fisher can beat the weakest men's professional pool players, you are stupid, I've beaten pros in pool tournys over the years, does that mean that im a pro? Nope, it doesn't, I've made more money playing pool than half of the top pros have made in they're Careers, I've beat a lot of big named players in a tourny, Then they bared down and won the pool tourny, I've beaten Shawn Putnam, Tony Crosby, Tony Watson, Larry Nevel, Marco Marquez, a bunch of guys that play under the radar, like Eugene Browning, What does that mean? NOTHING, every match that I beat a Pro player was a Fluke, either they didn't take the match seriously, or it was close and they shit all over themselves lol Call it what you want, The bottom line is this, Men cannot play in the Women's Tournys, therefore Women should not be allowed to play in men's pro events, Karen Corr beat Strickland at Turning Stone recently too, Just watched that match, Earl was beat before they lagged for the break, another theory is this, We all know how dirty the game of pool is, Buddy Hall or Mike LeBron may have dumped to Jean Balukas for more side money, IT HAPPENED a lot back then, How bout those FACTS?
i just gotta say . in this sport there is so much finesse, touch, feel, and nuance that the requirements for "power" is less. I can agree in most sports the physical difference in the genders is undeniable. Like let Bruce Jenner dress up and go play women in sports and see how fair that is. Anyway pool is a different animal and i think it's all about training, fundamentals, desire, commitment, and a host of other attributes to become great or "good at something" anyone who puts in the time in the right way will be a great player. I'm 67 and only started serious pool a few years ago. i've put in the time and today i'm tough to beat. I think they should have let Jennifer Barretta on the 2020 Mosconi cup team. Im just sayin
Efren the goat 🔥🙌🏻
36:13 Efren gets into trouble and out of trouble. Whatta master! 40:53 and again!
The commentator who keeps talking about how men are better than women at pool because of power really just needs to shut up. I'd like to see him say that kind of thing now
Bad commentary, women can play pool as good as men.
Is that why they beat men in all the top tournaments?
IAM listening to two dog faces; jealousy does not become you. You could never make it but REYES did in unbelievable fashion. Up yours.
The freaky alien spaceman with spikey hair still has me uneasy. Why does he keep looking at the camera? Have we been invaded?
1:00:09 was some type of commentary 🎱🎱
That one commentator is terrible. Disrespecting female players
I had tournament shot where the ball fell in the pocket before my cue ball reached it and I scratched. It was ruled ball in hand for my opponent
That ruling is not correct.
Ooh bebe nice boogie Magic.
INNAMA N LOOKS CONSTIPATED !
Is this Efren guy any good?
Some think so.
billy is the only good pool commentator lol
