- FROM NRE: A 1973 Camaro which we've caged, minitubbed, completely stripped to bare metal and powder coated the entire car. The motor is a 406 twin turbo making 1540 hp and 1527 lbs of torque.
We are going to prove to everyone you can "have your cake and eat it to."
We are going to drive the car 300 miles a day, stopping at a race track everyday, for 5 days. 1500 miles and 5 race days in 5 days, with no support vehicle. Sounds pretty crazy? Did we mention we are planning on running in 8 second quarter miles?
Our goal is to illustrate that you can own a car that smooth running, mellow-idling, easy-driving, pump-gas cruiser - and still make 1500hp, 8 second passes.
We call it the "F-bomb" becuase when it arrived at NRE, it looked like a Scud hit it.

Freiburger looked so much older back then. He looks 10 years younger now that he's lost some weight and got rid of the mullet.

It's not his weight. Extra weight actually takes a few years OFF you.
What it is is his ridiculous hair. As you lose your hair, you need to cut it shorter and shorter. A guy with not a lot of hair, grown long, looks (strangely) like he doesn't have much hair. BUT, if you start to cut it shorter and shorter as you lose it, you still look like you have plenty of hair.
Once you get down to a #1 cut, you're essentially bald, but no one ever thought you were going bald.

I finally got me a 2nd gen camaro ! Now that I got the body i have disassemble it and search and saved every penny I could get and put it my penny bank ! I got up extra early today to open and count what I have saved up the last two years ! I finally got all my savings figured up I have 52 cents ! 52 cents dividend by 2 years is 26 cents so 2 more years I should have $1.04 and if I live to be 60 Years old should have $21.60 ! Well I guess I can dream and maybe be able to buy a cold beer on my 60th birthday with the $21.60 and roll outside and look at my camaro drink my beer and dream ! Piss on it where is my pistol !

i did not take suspension and gearing into account i mean twin turbo is bad ass but i really like the Shelby gt500 super snake that model is so bad ass although my favorite body style of newer muscle cars would have to be the challenger i liked that they kind of brought back the length of the vehicle what do those things run ide figure some sort of hemi?

with the right tires, rear suspention setup, and gearing, no, it wouldn't. you do make a good point though. just like when they comapred the 2010 ss camaro vs the gt500.
