It's official! The Socratica Python Kickstarter was a success! Thank you to all of our supporters. Because of you, many more Python videos coming soon!! 💜🦉
Socratica is amazing. I am an electrical engineering and computer science student at University of California, Berkeley and I can say emphatically that Socratica is the best channel for beginning to love CS on RUclips. I wish this channel great success. -a fervent supporter Hamza

You are so kind. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. We love to hear about it when our videos are helping with someone's studies - we always think back to when we were students and what kinds of resources we *wish we had back then! Good luck at Berkeley and let us know how you get on!! 💜🦉
Guys... i mean girls, you got best tutorials on whole world wide web. I have learned everything about SQL in 90 minutes, more than in my whole semester course about SQL. You somehow keep my attention. Thanks for everything!
I love these videos. I am a junior database admin that have learned a lot of advance stuff but never had the chance to start from the basics. I am now trying to learn SQL from scratch and am finding these videos to be very educational as well as entertaining. Great job. Thank you.
I rarely comment on videos, and I thought that I had seen it all on youtube, but these tutorials are pure genius! No matter how simple the explained concepts are, still worth watching from the beginning, it feels like watching a hard sci-fi movie while learning real world stuff. Awesome! The humor reminds me of claptrap, of the borderland series, amazing job! :)
This has got to be the best tutorial video I have ever seen.. very high production value, effectively and interestingly delivered, so good. Time to binge
I love your personality and humor while sharing great information. I've used SQL for 20+ years but forgot a lot of the 'details' and this helped me a lot. Thank you!
I love this channel. Although I am already used SQL for many years, I still would like to refresh my SQL knowledge by viewing this video. Socratia, can you also create a series for Javascript tutorial? :)
Just here dropping by saying that this year I’m pursuing a career as a data analyst. I’m studying these videos to prepare me. So far I’m enjoying the way you teach. It’s so easy to digest. Thank you!
She needs to do every tutorial lol. Not just cause she is very pretty but honestly her confidence in being cheesy but fun kinda helps. Makes it a little easier to focus
Love this approach. Sarcasm relieves some of the my apprehension to learning this topic. Sincerely look forward to more videos in SQL (advanced functions!) and PYTHON. Thank you!
Seriously you're so serious and I couldn't say this in serious way:) And the "Bizarre command ", there you're:):) Expecting any cloud technologies in your voice!!! Thanks
Thanks for this serious video with hake discussion this really helps me a lot as SQL beginners and I feel like I'm an expert I want to know if there is another video apart from python thanks
Very interesting! Many thanks, Socratica, as usual. Wonderfully explained. I was just searching for some useful source for SQL learning and voilà, a Socratica video about that!
learned more in 12 minutes of first few videos than I have learned in my entire course of introduction to databases with my joke of an online school, and that cost me 35k for the degree.
They're not called relational databases because the tables can relate to each other. They're called relational databases because codds paper describes them as n-ary relations over a set of domains (which we see as the table columns). We just visualize the information as tables. Yes let’s go I need to learn python
numbchucktwo@gmail.com
“To create a database you use the bizarre command: create database” lol, this is the only SQL video that’s ever made me chuckle, well done.
Ulka's sarcasm is a lot tighter in her Python videos, but I'm happy to see her back in action!
"Because that's what the world needs... another social network." I'm laughing so hard right now
"You create a database using the bizzare command CREATE DATABASE"
haha yea she killed me with this !
ikr!!😂😂😂😂
lol
She’s soooo… great!
For you next series, have Ulka do a daily vlog, doing her daily routine in that personality - it deserves its own series
Hello wonderful Anton, person here. Love your videos too!!!
I need her voice-over in my spaceship
Don't take my EDI away!
wake up and go to work ,you don't have a spaceship
And also her face

You somehow keep my attention. Thanks for everything!
Your videos are the only way I was able to learn SQL. You keep them fun. Thank you for helping with my job.
We're thrilled to hear we can help out on the job!! This really inspires us to keep making videos. 💜🦉
I love the reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! This woman is quite literally perfect :-)
Q: When Socratica met Ulka, who won?
A: Us. We did.
This video is so amazing! "focus on the sequel... focus on the sequel" thank you so much!!
Your High Quality SQL content helped me crack the interview. Thanks a ton.
😀
What kind of questions were you asked?
I'm soooooo tired, it's 11:44 PM, but I cannot stop watching these videos, they are so great.
"Because this is precisely what the world needs, another social network" and "... wait for it ..." nice touch :)
These are hands-down the best tutorial videos on RUclips. Great work!
I love these videos. I am a junior database admin that have learned a lot of advance stuff but never had the chance to start from the basics. I am now trying to learn SQL from scratch and am finding these videos to be very educational as well as entertaining. Great job.

Who else liked the video before fully watching it? Awesome!
Third second! ))
Ulka for Socratica's CEO. Seriously, great teacher. You all rock!
So helpful ! Im in a Cloud Dev program, and even with the MS SQL book, I couldn't visualize what they were talking about until I watched this.
So great to hear you found our video helpful! Good luck with your program and let us know how you get on!! 💜🦉
same here
its like watching future AI teach me stuff .... amazing
This has got to be the best tutorial video I have ever seen.. very high production value, effectively and interestingly delivered, so good. Time to binge

this is making my class so much easier to understand, TYSM. professors teach from the top down and it's hard to learn that way
This is the best I have watched in my life. You are too good Socratica. Wow!!!
Awesome Ulka!! so rad! Thank you Socratica, you guys are amazing.
Just here dropping by saying that this year I’m pursuing a career as a data analyst. I’m studying these videos to prepare me. So far I’m enjoying the way you teach. It’s so easy to digest. Thank you!
That's so great to hear! We'll be rooting for you. Please let us know how you get on in your journey!! 💜🦉
In short video they explained my whole 1ch..and my time got conserved... This video is fantastic.... With 100 percent efficiency... 👍🏻
She needs to do every tutorial lol. Not just cause she is very pretty but honestly her confidence in being cheesy but fun kinda helps. Makes it a little easier to focus
Really efficient and vivid way to describe big stuff in brief time. Very nice.
Love the 'Pangalactic gargleblaster' reference from Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy :D
I'm really surprised how easy is to understand this tutorials! Thank you so much!
This is so great to hear, thank you!! 💜🦉
no intro, no raid shadow legend sponsor, no bs. 15 secs into video and she's already giving useful information
I do like this series! Useful, neat, nice iconography and presentation. And Ulka is charming. Thx to all of you at Socratica !
Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster! 👍Well played, hitchhiker. Well played.
The water noise in the background is way sweet!
by far, the best intro to SQL!
These SQL lessons are SUCH A LIFESAVER. Thank you!!
This series is work of an artist
The whole content is true art
😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
OMG I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DELIVERY...... It's so dramatic in a nerdgasm gay well done!
Love this approach. Sarcasm relieves some of the my apprehension to learning this topic. Sincerely look forward to more videos in SQL (advanced functions!) and PYTHON. Thank you!
Really, you are one of the best teachers that I ever saw, amazing didatic
Thanks for your great SQL performance for beginners. The music is also awesome. I really love your kind of teaching and humour.
Many *Kudos* Socratica and SQL instructor Ulka for a well done tutorial! You make learning fun and easy for everyone! Best regards!
Thank you so much, Tracy! We're having a lot of fun diving into this subject!! Your support gives us wings!! 💜🦉
@@Socratica If you need more wings - just let me know! 😊 💜🦉
well done fellow human, not advanced AI, this tutorial was excellent and beneficial refresher
I wish this playlist was longer! so helpful
OMG thank you very much
God bless you Socratica !!
1:00 Quick note. That's not why they are called relational. It's called relational because relational databases follow relational algebra.
Exactly! I was about to comment that! :D
Love this series, nice to see Ulka back! Is there any more content underway? We need more :)
Thank you for making a "perfect" overview for SQL!!!
This kind of tutorial is so good to explain something complicated :)
Fast & Fabulous ! Best of the best !
If I could subscribe millions of times in an infinite while(True) loop.. again and again and again...
Seriously you're so serious and I couldn't say this in serious way:) And the "Bizarre command ", there you're:):) Expecting any cloud technologies in your voice!!! Thanks
4:14ff - "Let us add a record to the *movies* table." What you add to a table with the *insert* command is properly termed a "row," not a "record."
I just discovered this content I'm hooked
Are these videos from the future? . Man I liked the voice over ,just felt like I'm watching some sci-fi movie .
Even a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe reference at the end. Good job!
You definitely missed at least one other.
beacuase this is what the world needs, another social network
I liked the sadistic ulka coding teacher, but this one just lovely.
Spectacular OVERVIEW !
No idea how long it took you to edit these videos. But im actually mindblown lmao. Love these videos so much, very well done
I preferred your python persona, but I still enjoyed this as well. Hoping to learn some advanced stuff later on.
ha such a clever series, nicely done, only looked for a reference video and stumbled across this little gem series.
I absolutely love her tutorials! I'm eagerly waiting for the next one!
AHHHH!!!! I love the python series!!! And this hostess!!! And SQL is something I'm wanting to learn!!! Sold!!!!
Thanks for this serious video with hake discussion this really helps me a lot as SQL beginners and I feel like I'm an expert I want to know if there is another video apart from python thanks
Really enjoying your channel content. So glad I found your channel. Keep it up

Very interesting! Many thanks, Socratica, as usual.
Wonderfully explained.
I was just searching for some useful source for SQL learning and voilà, a Socratica video about that!
Pan-Galactic Gargleblaster... I love your nerdyness. All Hail Douglas Adams!
Presented in so practical way
SQL made into great fun, love it!
Excellent high production value video on introductory sql! Thank you!
learned more in 12 minutes of first few videos than I have learned in my entire course of introduction to databases with my joke of an online school, and that cost me 35k for the degree.
Bizarre command 'create database' lol...and the rest! I'm an experienced DBA, just stumbled on this series by accident and I'm just loving the humour!
Great video structure, even if you already know this information These are still worth the watch.
And the next video is about more complex sql statements? Nice!
I really like and love your teaching style. You are too much smart. Please make python Django tutorial
"Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster" lol You're the best. Thank you.
Subbed withtin 10 seconds into the video... excellent content producer
SUPER! It was so SIMPLY!
Thanks I just learned this today in class and m y doubts are cleared
this Chanel awesome. your content very clear. thank you keep up
Focus on the sequel. Focus on the sequel. Best video ever.

I wouldve subbed just for that intro alone. Shoutout to coding train for recommending me to you.
We HEART @shiffman!! GO GO CODING TRAIN 💜🦉🌈🚂
@@Socratica still watching this playlist, still impressed. Great job 👍
Wow! Super interesting lesson!
These are the greatest tutorials ever, I love them!
A lot of questions answered. Well done, looking forward to this series

This is the course I was waiting for
Please make more videos on SQL. They are really great
Cute, clever, fun to watch and learn.
Real perfect space shuttle voice....
LMAO....THIS IS TOO FUNNY. I loooove her snarky comments🤣🤣🤣
The word "relational" in "relational database" does not mean that tables can be in some relation (eg. FK as it is stated in this video).
