@@lamellarm6546 as of 1.09 you can stack jellyfish sheild buffs(one each hand) even if they are unequipped after. Buff only lasts 30 secs tho which I appreciate as an invader
Fun fact, if you kill the giant dragon while on Torrent and quickly book it back to Fort Faroth site of grace to rest you can kill them infinitely for at least 50k runes each without gold fowl foot and gold scarab talisman

You’re crazy man. Even though you destroyed all the bosses, watching you fight was very satisfying. It’s very obvious you know exactly what you’re doing.
One of the best weapons that no one uses is the all knowing scepter, it's ash of war can be exploited if used correctly, you can use that Cracked Magic Tear and Magic scorpion charm to buff it to do 700 dmg on a MACE, and maces are one of the most slept on weapon types, AND The Scepter is the longest, longer than some straight swords even, just have some tanky armor and some buff you can push the dmg to 800, it's insane.
there was a confirmation death sound for the first godfrey fight. it was just immediately after the stance break punish sound. you can hear two sounds go off one after another.
Great video. Bloodflame is pretty busted, but you had a great sense of humor throughout. Felt like a nice balance, really. Some videos are just too oversatured with not-great jokes and it becomes unfunny, but this was great!

I personally love to use raptor talons for easier to hit charged attacks. With that you can go consecutive hit + charged attack build at the same time!
@@Jordien You jump foward significantly when using charged R2 1 of raptor's talons, and back flip with charged R2 2. Recovery is also short enough for you to spam.
I've been using this combo with Raptor Talons since basically the beginning. It slaps, even before the buffs. Speaking of, the new Claw buff honestly isn't THAT big, I honestly barely even noticed it.
@@infernalflamezz7480 Sort of. For Dex Builds (80 Dex), Raptor Talons outperform any other Claw due to it's higher Dex Scaling. It ends up with very similar AR as the others, but its better Heavy Attacks, better jump attack damage and lighter weight just edges it out. Below 70 Dex, the other Claws beat them in raw damage but Raptor Talons are still a solid pick due to the reasons I mentioned. BH Claws ironically do better with Strength builds. It also has the highest base damage out of all of the claws so also performs well for builds that don't use a lot of stats in general. EDIT: Grammar

Just yesterday I started a new playthrough because I wanted to try claws for the first time. Did a little bit of running across the map and got myself the raptor talons, because I didnt want to kill Margit in order to get into stormveil for the regular claws. I was very surprised at how much damage they deal on top of the quick bleed procs! I've defeated Margit at around level 20 and it was a breeze. Super fun and quick moveset. 100% recommend trying it out!
I wanted this to be a run using only claws, so what would I've used for Margit? ;) And after entering Stormveil I already had bloodhound claws upgraded, so no need to change

(To be exact, are the hook claws not objectively worse than the bloodhound ones shown here) Been using them to compliment my buckler parry dex build bc crowds+parrying gets JUST a touch too hard for my brain & love how the hook claws feel, but also am worried that I be kneecapping myself by using them over the bloodhound ones

Aside from FashionSouls, FashionSouls is always a valid reason (and the BloodhoundClaws do look very sexy) If you go to AtlusPlateau anyway for the weapon you could just as well have gone for the Talons, which are also very stylish. So why the BHC? Genuinely curious.
Good point; I wanted to use Bloodhound Claws since I had them on a coop run with friends a couple months ago, and it was like coming back to an old friend :) Besides, I do indeed not like how Talons look so it was partly a fashion choice.

Yes of course go ahead! This build works wonders with any claws, some commenters have pointed out that Hookclaws (found in Stormveil Castle) are a strong contender as well

I've always thought that doing something like dodging Malenia's waterfowl by circling around her is consistently possible only if you're using a controller, and some other attacks requires moving at specific angle if you want to dodge them without rolling. Yes, I do use keyboard and mouse! I've always played Souls games like this. It can make precise movements like circling Malenia's Waterfowl more difficult and increase the risk of pivots, but it compensates with a better camera control. As for specific angles, it's often a matter of unlocking to orientate your character with the camera - which even some controller players do depending on the situation. And thanks!

Just farm the mohg dynasty crow for a easy 50-60k runes per minute

claws were my fallback on launch when I struggled with UGS/GS, glad to see they get even better .
Could also been even more op at the start by netting Varre quest and the blood surgeon mask and blood talisman in capital. Just to be more spicy.
